Domino's Pizza in Cardiff

nice little place to get your pizza.

Delivery marked as done.. kids waiting for pizza.. but no sign of pizza around.. went to the store and the manager was chest thumping and showing off.. to be true, a young girl came around and gave it to us...

waited in store to pick up my pizza after ordering for collection and the way the manager was speaking to the staff was disgusting!!! made me feel intimidated so god knows how staff were feeling!

I am absolutely disgusted with this branch of dominos. I am on holiday in cardiff and wanted to pick up some pizzas quickly for the family and the service was absolutely awful. I got given the wrong pizza and when i spoke to the manager about it he was SO rude. His name is Hus i’m pretty sure. He could not have cared less about his job or customers or anything and he was so rude to his staff members there was a poor young girl and he was so horrible to her i’m surprised she hasn’t quit by now! If one of my kids was being treated that way all hell would break loose! I am disgusted by this manager and i think he needs to be fired. Really wish i could give 0 stars this place is genuinely awful. Never going back.

Placed my order a full hour ago, with this Dominos being only 15 minutes away for delivery, and it still hasn’t arrived.

ordered form this dominos store today the order was late by 1hour 30 minutes ,after3 phone calls the pizza arrived very cold and one side is missing unfortunately I had few guest waiting and it was very dispoointing called the shop again they said will need to collect the order and send you new one after collection ?? which means another hour or 2 seriously !! will never order from them again 44 green acre

Absolutely disgusting service. We ordered at 7pm, app said it was on the way then had been delivered but it hadn't. We rang 5 times between 7.30 and 9 to be told it was on the way each time. People on the phone couldn't have cared less if they tried. Won't be ordering again.

I ordered at 7pm it got here at 8pm with only half my order and the delivery guy said to call and someone else will deliver the rest so i called and they said that driver will go back to domino’s to grab the rest of the order and come back to me. An hour has passed and still nothing i’ve called many times but no answer. Absolutely ridiculous

Don't get me wrong, the pizza is amazing but sometimes it can be really pricey due to having To pay a lot more money for delivery and the food and drinks are quite expensive but they are worth the money if you are willing to spend a high amount of money on it. Overall good service and great pizza.

Food was great! Although when I entered the store I was ignored for 15-20mins. Staff saw me there but didn’t say anything. The pizza was a really tasty and met the high standard dominos has just would have been nice to be welcome into the store even with a hello will be with you in a few minutes.

I always add extra cheese and this place is so stingey. Ordered two large pizzas, extra mozzarella and barely the amount you would expect normally.. I don’t really understand why they can’t get it right. I’ve had terrible experiences in the past with this store too, turned up after ordering over the phone, a pizza was on the side but I was asked to wait, waited 15 minutes and asked where it was, when she checked, the one sitting there was mine. Gave it to me even though it was now cold and again, barely any cheese. What a waste of time. Never going here again.

food isn't being cooked as it used to, last few pizzas i've had have been soggy & uncooked, customer service is always good here but i'm disappointed now with how the food has been cooked lately

I popped in here on a Friday lunch time. There was one staff member serving and he seemed extremely busy. He was grateful for my patience in waiting and was very friendly. The pizza was lovely and will be returning!

Went to pick up pizza from Domino's. The cashier was a bit rude and felt he was not helpful.

I call the shop 22 :00 o clock for to order 4 pizza for my family as a result the boy on phone answer and say to me we are busy , I can't your pizza through the phone and If I want do it through the app I am so disappointed for that never I will go on this place again very rude person Thank you

Two orders in a row have now been wrong from this domino’s - one a delivery deal ordered with a drink arrived without the drink - driver said drink would come later never turned up - second order collection pizza ordered with change to toppings drive down to collect picked it io brought it home and it had the wrong toppings. Fool me once and all that I’ll be avoiding in future

Wanted to buy a £3.99 personal pizza. Saw the buy one get one free on the leaflet. Man serving said he could do that for me. Only he didn't do it on the £3.99 pizza, he upsold to me on a different menu entirely without telling me. The free pizza wasn't needed. I only wanted it as 'why not' if free - I could have given to a friend. With a lot on my mind I didn't realise I'd been charged £10.68 for a £3.99 pizza plus a small bottle of Fanta until after. They are thick as two short planks in there. Beware - you'll be upsold to without even being told. Pizza was rubbish too - doughy. Feel completely scammed.

I decided to order and collect from this store on 14/04/2023. I have never met a team of rude staff since I moved to the UK 2 years ago. I'd come into the store to pick my order, was ignored by a team of about 9-10 staff, 2 were working and the others were huddled together having a chat. Said hello the first time, no one answered. I thought I was probably not loud enough and no one could hear me. Waited about a minute and spoke up that I had come to pick my order, still everyone was busy about what they were doing when I'd entered the store. Finally made eye contact with one staff member who was drinking from a bottle, she looked at me and then looked away. I understand she may be on break or not working at the time, but no effort was even made to signal to whoever was supposed to attend to me that a customer was waiting. Eventually, someone comes forward without offering any apology for keeping me waiting. I collected my order, said my thank you and left. After reading some of the reviews for this store I am not surprised. Even my 8 year old was shocked by the treatment we received. Sparse toppings on our pizzas as well. I am totally unimpressed. I would try another store if I ever have to order from Domino's again.

I was a truck driver for dominos delivering goods to the stores. DO NOT EAT FROM THIS STORE, it is the most dirtiest grottiest mankyest Dominos store I have ever delivered to, you would be physically sick if you knew what it's like in thier fridge and out the back. I actually have video footage if anyone wants to see it. Order from Rumney Hill instead they are super clean. This place should be shut down and the management sacked.

Best pizza in my opinion, obviously not as the real and original Italian pizza, Napoli, Rome and the rest of Italy

ordered online pizza come completely wrong when I rang them up tried to tell me that is what I ordered...🙄 then the women I was speaking to on the phone just hangs up on me yet I wasnt even being rude! she had no customer skills what so ever, the manager didnt want to know. I have spent so much money here and orders the same thing all the time...ill never order from them again!!! absolutely disgraceful!

Very confusing menu. How can it be cheaper to buy 2 pizzas 2 sides and 2 drinks than it is to get 2 pizzas. No wonder the country is getting fat. Staff not particularly helpful it was as if we were a nuisance by being in the store

My favourite in the whole town. Doesn't matter if delivery when I'm lasy or pick up, it's always super hot and well made. Never had a reason to complaint

Ordered a large pizza came as a medium, said delivered but no one knocked the door, asked for extra cheese and hardly no cheese on it and don’t know where the toppings were cos you couldn’t see them , when I rang them they said the pizza had shrunk , omg what a joke. Would not even give 1 star, freezing cold, dry. Yuk

Driver claimed to try delivery but was looking out of the window and partly sitting outside! Called store 2 times they claimed driver tried to deliver, delivery never arrived and driver made no attempt to call (if they did really try and deliver) haven't received order very bad customer service

I was a loyal dominos customer up until today. I ordered two pizzas they got my pizza wrong so i called the store and ask for them to remake it. after an hour no pizza so i called 15 times with no answer, after a while he answered saying it needs 20 more minutes to prepare it which of course didnt happen. long story short, 2 hours to get a pizza remake :)

Nice service butt seriously 😒 £20 for 2 medium pizza with chicken … where is Chicken ??? Not worth this money 💰 you will get better frozen and cheaper really disappointing never buy fro. There again 🙁

We have frequently used this Dominos because of its quality. Sad to say though over the last 3 months or so the quality had gone down hill big time. Pizzas have been dry, & not at all fresh tasting. They’ve also come in odd shapes (almost squished looking). They used to be amazing but not anymore.

Worst Domino’s pizza ever from Pentwyn branch! Ordered two medium pizzas for collection. They were cold and the bases were as thin as cardboard and literally no trace of cheese! Even my 9 year old asked ‘where’s the cheese?’ If a child noticed then surely Domino’s staff should! Clearly cutting back on ingredients to save on overheads. Really disappointed and will be going elsewhere.

Domino's pentwyn are putting out some tasty pizzas tonight best iv had in ages. They're busy too fair play to you guys....

The last 3 orders we have had from Domino's Pentwyn have been horrendous not cut, the dough was so thin it was like paper. And hardly nothing on the toppings. Won't be ordering again from there....

On Christmas Eve my mother decided to order domino as treats for the family however had ordered 5 pizza and spend over 50 pound. The driver attended at the address and given two pizza while customer asked where is the other three pizza as she had ordered 5 pizza and only received two pizza then the driver replied and said “sorry there’s nothing we can do about it and you’ll need to contact the store for refund” the customer was worried as she had three children to feed on Christmas Eve. So customer had ranged the store although the store decided to say over the phone “there’s nothing we can do about it” then hung up straight away so customer decided to ring again asking for explanation or raise refund request and the store answered again and screaming over the phone saying “Don’t call us again otherwise we’ll contact the police” we was shocked and appalled by their disgusting behaviour so customer decided to try attend the store and reassure manager to ask for remake and send out other three pizza or possible refund if they refuse to send out three missing pizza also explanation of why they threatened to call the police for no reason. While the customer arrive the store then the manager came to front desk and laughed at customer face telling her “we are closed so do us favour and go away!” I would not recommend this store at all to my friends and family… stay away from the store and if possible order somewhere else instead of this store otherwise you’ll regret it for sure! I’ve also filed complaints with the headquarters about their disgusting behaviour! Shame on you dominos for leaving three kids with no food on Christmas Eve… you’ve lost great customers 🤬

Completely unattended. Six or more people behind the screen. Be sat here a few mins and the phones rang atleast four times and nobody’s answered. Terrible.

I had almost one year since i am a loial client and order every week from them pizza i order chicken pizza like usually with extra ham extra mushroom and i received nothing on pizza just tomato juice and some little pieces off ham .I make pictures off it but it seems that i can't upload it because they didn't accepted .Very strange if the client has pictures to show why you are not let him ?Pay a lot received nothing .I will stop order from this branch

I ordered dominoes for a family who has no income coming, has 4 kids and who is struggling to get food. I ordered 2 pizzas and a side. The option was thin base, the pizza came too thin it was like eating poppadoms it was like baked tortilla! the crusts were burnt. Still feel all my hunger. The garlic bread had no taste was too doughy didn’t taste any garlic! The manager was very disrespectful and rude. She didn’t listen to what we had to say. She had no manners at all. There was too many different stories on their side, other staff saying they were the manager when the phone was handed over to 3 different people. Very impolite. Never came to any solution so had to end the call.. As doing customer service myself, yelling and shouting at customers is the last thing you want to do to make your business money!

Ordered food and the delivery driver was decent. Opened it up and it was all soggy and dripping with grease. Pizza was undercooked phoned them and got told to wait. 2 minutes later a women came on the phone and said it's because of the toppings. I said I had exactly the same pizza last week and that was fine she said that there is nothing she can do and assured me it was the toppings so I explained once again that I had the same pizza last week if she has a look on the orders for my address I was told it was the toppings and that she will make another one but can't guarantee it will be cooked properly. She then said to close the box and give it to the delivery driver when he comes. Happily ! Wouldn't give it to a dog.

Came here Christmas Eve around 7pm. All the staff were lovely and in high spirits and great customer service. I grew up near this particular DOMINOS PIZZA (Pentwyn) so always try to support the local businesses. The pizza was lovely and great value for money. x

Only decided to close the shop when we go right to the front door. They saw us walking towards the shop from a distance and even said hello as we where approaching. Two members of staff were stood idle at the counter, then as soon as we got to the door they turned off the lights and said sorry were closed, like it was a joke they were waiting to pull. Will not be using Dominos again.

Meh, it's a Domino's my first to be precise. I was leaving Cardiff and it was free through three (thanks 3). The pizza was very average did not live up to the hype but it was very edible. The staff were working away and I got a mumble as I picked mine up so not much happening there, but I'm not sure what I would expect from somewhere like this. I missed it driving passed the first time so it could be more visible from the road coming from Cardiff side.

Smiling staff who make you feel welcome and will take the time to help you get your order right. They will also take the time to get you the best deals.

Staff there ignore you completely and they take on people sacked for stealing in their previous job.. the Llanisien one on the other hand, much better!

Decreased the size of pizza bread. Garlic pizza bread so small that the putting it in chocolate melt box . Decreased to quality may be because of cost cutting or brexit .
