App said pizza was ready to collect, had me waiting 10 mins in the shop because it just went in the oven, then the pizza was wrong won't be back

Both the manager and the person taking the order were really unhelpful. Not what I would expect from Domino's.

Service is pretty slow at this dominos it’s quite disappointing. The food is always good. But you order your food for 12-15 minutes time, arrive 15 minutes later for your food still going to be 20 minutes.

Ordered pizza at 5 o'clock for delivery at 7, when it didn't arrive by 7.30 I gave them a call and was told that it had been delivered, I said it hadn't so she called the driver who said that he was outside my house but he wasn't then after another 4 calls they said that they didn't know what had happened and after the 3rd and 4th call they said they would make a fresh one, it's now 40mins since that was said and guess what, still no pizza, absolutely disgraceful service

I won‘t come back again! 😔The pizza in it is so careless that always forget to put things, such as sausages, which makes me unable to find the taste I like; the pizza is very utterly briny and tasteless.

Paying £2.50 for delivery, and having the driver hang up on me 5 times and make me walk to the car to collect my order is quite ridiculous. Why am i paying for delivery when I have to walk there myself, while the driver sits in the car and comes handing me the order while on his phone is ridiculous. Why am I paying for this kind of service might as well collected myself.

Usually excellent but it looks like a change in management and service was terrible.

Well we are weeks on now from a absolute mess up on our order. The pizza we ordered was incorrect, we called Durham to tell them and they apologised and said they would rectify this issue and send it out ASAP with us having a small gathering. So 1 hour later I rang after no sign , they said it was getting done . We rang again another 1 hr later and said its out for delivery. So a staggering 3 hours we waited for a replacement pizza. The shop manager said we would be refunded for the mistake made , as they had in actual fact forgot the even do the replacement pizza thats why it was late. A full refund was mentioned on the phone with the management , and told to email dominos with the issues for a refund also. Guess what, weeks on And still nothing has been done about the disgusting customer service received and now they are ignoring my emails all together now.

Usually excellent, but today we had mushrooms in the margarita pizza, and chicken on the veg supreme.... Good.... but check before you drive away. I rang, they offered to cook again... customer service thumbs up!

Ordered in store. It took a while to arrive, but was well worth the wait. I wouldn't order delivery, though, as the phone was constantly ringing with customers complaining their orders hadn't arrived, and the drivers didn't seem to have a clue.

Qualified for two pizzas, refused to give me deal, very unprofessional, definitely going down hill doubt you could trust anyone handling food with such poor customer service as they simply don’t care. Franchised out so head office don’t care suspect that their whole product doomed probably go belly up like Dominoes Italy which closed, silly thing is, if they improved their customer service they’d probably have a stronger supportive customer base, definitely won’t be using them again, Shame for them with 2 young kids in the family we’ll be munching pizzas for many years, just not Dominoes, has all the signs of closing down as the corporate mentality has definitely gone.

Very poor customer service, stand at the counter and get ignored. Online tracker says your collection is ready, after getting someones attention to be told it’s “still in oven”. Two visits in a row with poor experience

Ordered 2 pizzas dough ball chicken strippers and garlic dippers from north road Durham used tracker to see when food was out for delivery after 20 mins of being out for delivery I called the store and spoke with Olivia a manger. She first advised the driver was on a double with mine and someone else’s delivery she then back tracked and said the driver went out with one then went back for mine which I know is a lie as a asked the driver. The food wa only warm 1 pizza didn’t even look cooked correctly. Absolute joke this store.

Terrible pizza. Supposed to have double cheese and it’s barely even got any cheese on it. Full slices with no cheese at all on. This isn’t the first time either it was the same 2 weeks ago. Won’t be ordering again and hope it’s shuts down for good. Them prices are way too expensive for very poor pizza

This Domino used to be brilliant. Not any more. Charge for delivery. Delivery is always slow. Never any deals. I ended up with a thin crust pizza and paid for double cheese, this doesn't even look like single cheese. Over proofed dough to top it off. I won't order again here.

Guessing you are here checking reviews because youve suffered the same service ive had. 24 min delivery time according to the site. Waited exactly 3 hours. Numerous phonecalls advising it was out for delivery (blatant lies as 2 hours later it arrived fairly fresh). Told we’d be refunded but that was another lie. Atrocious. Avoid.

My husband got two pizza for collection when I opened mine texas bbq it was covered in black burned bits left in the oven to long I rang the manager to be told he doesn't think I know what burned looks like no apology nothing

Ordered a dominos for myself and my work colleagues came to £79 pizzas etc came bout no pop!! Said thy would re deliver still waiting called the manager she refused to speak to me!!! Sent emails to head office offered me another bottle of pop!! Now have 3 bottles then offered £10!! Lol that’s 3 bottles of pop at £2.87 erm no £2.40 between 9 x then got offered my meal to reorder however I dnt work with same crew asked for my muny back said yes on 24th October got £3.47 in my bank absolutely mortified emailed them 3 times now still waiting for a response shocking dominos what are u doing

Ordered pizza tonight, 2 pizza's when they arrived my pizza was totally wrong, I ordered Meatlicious and specified ni barbecue sauce which I hate, hate even the smell of it, what they sent was pepperoni with loads of barbecue sauce, so we put my partners pizza in the oven, rang them, said they would replace it which was fair enough, second pizza arrived, was a meatilicious but with barbecue sauce, rang again, said they would replace it, after a wait, rang again they said it was just coming out if the oven, I said ok, just cancel it and refund, they can't refund apparently you have to e mail to request refund, 2 minutes later the pizza arrived, despite it apparently just coming out of the oven, they also sent a side WITH A POT OF BARBECUE SAUCE ! As it was now 9pm it was far to late to eat a pizza so I sent it back! Such incompetence! Once again tonight, ordered pizza, app said out for delivery, didn't arrive, called them, they claimed the driver was stuck in traffic (highly unlikely) , eventually arrived, not in a hot box or bag, all food cold! Inedible! Called Domino's, highlighted the issue, their response ... send an e-mail! Great customer service ... NOT!

Asked for one pizza. they put it down as 2 pizzas and charged me for both. asked for a refund and was asked for my email and phone number. they told me it would take 3-5 days. 3 months later i still haven’t got the money back. went back today and ordered online. the app said the pizza was ready but when i went inside to collect they told me it would be another 20 minutes bevause they made a mistake and had to remake it. no apology or anything just told me to come back later. disgusting service on both occasions! will not be returning! if i could give 0 stars i would.

I order from here quite a bit as a uni student, and honestly in all my experiences they've been very prompt on delivery and the food was very good, I always get the cheesy crusts and would highly recommend. Great for entertaining me and my partner or friends when they come over, especially the new veggie pesto option for my vegetarian friends. I think a lot of people only come on to write negative reviews when I think there are actually a lot of people that enjoy this branch too! Plus as a side note, the delivery guy has always been super friendly and definitely a lot better than many other delivery drivers out there.

Very disappointed! I have been broken down outside the Durham north road branch for almost 5 hrs waiting for RAC. I have bought food from them earlier. Just asked if I can buy a drink from them (the counter closed at 10.30, but deliver until 2am) Told no, but told I could order one for delivery (delivery is £1.50) Staff tried to help (thankyou), manager said no. I am right outside your door.

Dominos food is not an issue you know what you are going to get. Unfortunately if you order from this branch you have no idea when you are going to get it. Even if the food does eventually arrive you are lucky if is what you ordered. Total shambles of a branch.

Used the app to order. The app said the money hadn't been taken. The bank said it had. No food and no money to buy my kids more food as I was told it takes upto 5 days. Absolutely disgusting and the people in the shop couldn't care less, especially the manager. Shocking! Do not order from here!

I ordered a custom pizza with BBQ base and several toppings. Once I got to work to eat my masterpiece, the first bite didn't taste like sweet taste of BBQ but the disgusting taste which is tomato base. The sheer disappointment in every bite made me realise how Newcastle fans have been feeling lately. The staff were busy which resulted in rushed service. The staff were friendly which is why this review is not a one.

Accidentally ordered from the wrong store and, even after they'd cooked the pizza somewhere else, transferred it for free when I came here instead. superb

Spoke to Nick on the phone was abrupt and dismissive. The app said out food was 15 to 20 mins until delivery. We have waited over an hour for our food. The app said the food was delivered. However it was not. When they eventually turned up thanks to Nicks rude attitude we turned the driver away (who apologied and knew straight away without us mentioning that we had spoken to Nick) and contacted our bank for a charge back. As we dont want any further contact with that store. Seriously nick get a diffrent jon or attitude adjustment. I once worked at that store and the manager then wouldn't of stood for it.

I ordered d chicken feast pizza last night it arrived on time at 6pm. There was not chicken on it only tomato sauce and a few mushrooms. I was so disgusted with it. We are isolating so our treat tea turned out to be awful. What a shame that your shop which used to be so good has gone down hill. If you're ordering from Dominoes Darlington branch be wary, ordered our family meal as a treat at 7:30pm, told our order was to be up to an hour delivery - no problem there. Order arrived at 8:45pm, however the order was wrong. After the “chicken and garlic” pizzas were confused as a “chicken supreme” After a call and a unapologetic employee explained “its just the same” after a minute or two of explaining that it was not the pizza we ordered a replacement was to be sent out in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later we called again to chase the corrected order - only to be told it was delivered, to the wrong address. Currently waiting on a THIRD attempt to get the order right at 9:55pm. If you're ordering from the Darlington branch make sure you speak very slow and thoroughly go through the order prior to hanging up. Who knows what would turn up at your door (in this case the neighbours door!)

They close half an hour before they say they do. The staff are unconcerned about public opinion and represent the company dreadfully. They dont keep their company notices and times up to date with their regulations.

I don’t understand why Domino’s is so popular. The pizzas are mediocre at best and massively overpriced. Taste no better than a frozen pizza from Sainsbury’s. Delivery was quick and the girl was very polite. Very easy to use ordering from the website. BUT the pizzas weren’t worth the money. Can’t recommend it.

Absolutely terrible customer service waited 15 min to be told pizza wasn’t there staff all just shrugging saying it wasn’t we, no apology and felt like I was inconveniencing staff. If this was my franchise I’d be looking into a lot of staff training as they obviously need it!

So basicky I order some scran for 25 past 12 and she came at 12 so I was like hew I’m still in a meeting cannot leave so she went back and then wa alike call when ur out so I called 20 times no answer then called dominos and they were extremely rude and wa smirk okay we will send her now then hung up still haven’t received my food or have hurd form the delivery person. The food here is really good, and works really well with delivery. However, if you opt for the delivery option it can be extremely expensive. Whereas, if you opt for the collection then you can find yourself some really good deals. The down side is that the service seems to be very unorganised and chaotic when collecting. By the time they realise you're there and waiting to collect, the pizza is almost cold!

I'm going to start off with saying I have ordered from there twice and the two times I have ordered I was not impressed. The first time, we had half of our order missing and the poor delivery driver had to come back second time to deliver the rest of the food. The second time we ordered the food, there was quite a big group of us (it was a week day) and the food was 40 minutes late.. half of the order didn't turn up once again, when we rang them they told us it would be with us straight away.. waited another 40 minutes and rang back, they said our order went to the back of the queue and they are not even dealing with it yet, once my friend had a go at them and said she does not want the food anymore she just wants a refund they said they can not do that.. the food finally came an hour later, just before closing . PLEASE do not order from here.

Their online system wouldn't recognise a valid discount (student 35% off discount). Their response? "that's not our problem, order something else. Bye".

Sometimes the orders are on time, hot and as they should be. At least a good 20% of the time. The rest of the time it's either late, wrong or cold or all bloody three! The first order was wrong, had to come all the way back to wait around for the second batch.....also wrong. This is unreal! Not only am I wasting my time on my night off I'm wasting fuel running too and fro. Also whilst I'm here there's a cook in the back with a good sized beard with no facial hair net on and another guy coughing and sneezing all over his hands whilst he builds the boxes 🤢 Got the third order and some compensation, I asked the lady is it definitely correct this time? She assured me it was I get home and it's still wrong I actually don't believe it! How hard is it to make a pizza by following an order? BBQ SAUCE! MORONS! Safe to say this is the final straw after constant let downs enough is enough. I love dominos it's my fave treat meal but I'm done wasting my time and money in here. I'll also be contacting the food standards agency about the lack of hygine and head office about the simpletons they hire. Head office don't seem to care very much from my last TWO complaints but hey why not try again.....As if you can't tell reading this I'm livid!

Had free here loads of times so thought I'd review... this place is so hit and miss with everything sometimes good service sometimes fast delivery and sometimes good food but never always often food is late cold or missing complaints in general are handled badly by staff then again by customer service team but can be excellent....sometimes!

Expect much more for such high prices. Ordered large personalised pizza with peppers, onion, olives. Total of 5 small slices of pepper on entire pizza, barely any cheese, absolutely littered with olives. Dough balls incredibly greasy, potato wedges soggy and undercooked. Only good aspect of order was cookies. Several places which offer much more at reasonable prices available in Durham.

Awful 25 minutes late no appolgy from driver. pizza had no tomato base and the cookies have been burnt. Dog enjoyed it though! Won't be ordering again what a ripp off poor service disgraceful!!

The best pizza but also most expensive

Much pricier than most pizza places in Durham, and deliveries are almost always 45 minutes to an hour late (with no prior apology or notice given). Customer service is also shocking; tried calling the Durham Dominos shop for almost 30 minutes and couldn’t get through to anyone. Would not recommend.

I know I shouldn't order from Domino's, they fail to impress every time. Not. worth. it.

Last pizza delivery we had from Dominos was a rock hard piece of dough with bunt offerings of half a mushroom abit of pineapple and cheese all burnt to a crisp delivered cold never going back!

Too overpriced for what you get there are far cheaper nicer pizzarias in and around Durham to choose from why pay excessive fees for a pizza and the way a staff member spoke to me when I went in I will never go back again

I normally really look forward to a dominos but today it was absolutely terrible. On ordering a pizza deal of one pizza and a small garlic bread with an extra portion of potato wedges it took just under seven minutes, the delivery driver was very polite and friendly, the food arrived under the estimated time which was great, although the pizza was badly cut, the goats cheese was inedible and tasted like what I can only imagine a sweaty armpit would be like, and for just under £23 I feel robbed. We had to leave most of it, the bits we did eat we soaked in sauce to hide the flavour and had to scrape the cheese off, all the food was lukewarm, will be ordering pizza from haughton chippy again. Very disappointing indeed.

I rarely buy food from Dominos due to the pricey menu. I had very high expectations and they were certainly met. I ordered two of the deals as I was with quite a few friends. The food was delicious, the food was of good quality, I enjoyed every bite.

I have waited two hours for my pizza!

Placed a large order here on Saturday and when the order had items missing the driver just shrugged his shoulders and said that it was nothing to do with him! Tried calling the store but it just rings out left my feedback online seems no one is interested. Seems money for nothing is their game!

Great little Dominos and open until late

Won't refund me. Went to place an order online, rang the store as I had a 50% off code and wasn't sure how to use this online. In the phone one of the workers told me to click 'place order' then it will ask for the voucher code. However this was not the case as it just placed the order and took the money out off my account for £40!! Dominos refused to refund me the 50% back. Thanks for nothing, will not be ordering from dominos again

Despite having a "no menu" sign on my door one was still posted through my letterbox. Food absolute poison for those of us on a controlled diet - no calorie counts or nutritional information of any kind. All on website in a clumsy 15 page PDF document. By the time I read it I could have made my own pizza.

Girl behind counter didn't know what she was doing even though we showed her what we wanted with pictures. She was disinterested and miserable we managed to order food and sat down she came out slammed box's on table and walked off without saying a word. She needs people skills. Staff are not good or helpful and don't know how to say excuse me or please and thank you. Food was tasteless and even though it was a meal deal it wasn't worth it will not be going again.

We spend hundreds at this store for our employees every month and I don't think they have got an order ready yet. I have complained countless times to the staff on the telephone who put you on hold for ages in the hope you'll eventually hang up (which of course you do). I have facebooked the main page to which they tell you to comment on the websites feedback page. When you do this, you don't get a response.

Ive used a few dominos stores previouly which have been excellent. Unfortunately now i have to use the durham store, the menu has only half the pizzas other stores do, the staff seem to mess up every order, theres barely any topping on the pizzas, the delivery times are a joke (around 2 hours) and the staff are incredibly rude. This store needs sorted out
