This place has nothing special to talk about, the food is okay, the staff is friendly but the service here is slow.

Ordered my meal including a drink for 6:15. It arrived ten minutes after I ordered it (a full two hours early) and without my drink. Love the food. But the service is not great.

The Pad Thai tasted strange and shredded beef was a little too crunchy. Otherwise everything was alright.

Specifically asked for no mushrooms in any dish, I received mushrooms in ALL main dishes. Really disappointing will not order from here again

Worst Chinese ever! They forgot our rice which we paid for. The sauce come seperatly in tiny pots which leaked all over everything. In general the portions weren't even fit for a small child. We tried calling but they wouldn't pick up! Never ordering from them again. Waste of money. Wasn't tasty. Disappointed!

Although the food was half an hour late, when it arrived it was delicious.

Delivery took two hours and had to call three times to follow up. Food was obviously freezing when it arrived. Will not be ordering again.

Food arrived just under 2.5 hours after order was made. No correspondence from Dolphin and restaurant did not pick up their phone after calling several times. No apology on delivery. All round bad service - would NOT recommend

Arrived an hour late after having to call multiple times to find out where the order was. Food was bland, chicken wings were soggy and the mixed starter for 2 was definitely not big enough for 2. Won't be ordering here again

By far the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever received - ever! So much so that this is the first ever review I have written. When the driver arrived, the drink and another item were missing. After calling, they agreed to come back with both......40 minutes later! Food quality was poor, very poor, the majority went into the bin! If you are reading this to check before ordering......don't bother ordering! Sorry if you already have! Complete waste of money!!

Terrible. Cold. Extremely late. It arrived 2 hours after I ordered it, over 40 minutes later than estimated. Rude delivery man. Never again.

"spicy" chicken had no flavour at all, let alone spice. the blandest thing I've ever had from a chinese. crispy duck was pretty dry. the bbq pork was a bit canteeny. Dumplings were nice and moist.

Sweet sour pork was awesome. So was the thai green curry. szechuan beef was very oily however.

Ordered it for 10pm as I was coming home late; it came at about 9.15pm - before I arrived home - and my flatmate had to answer the door and take it for me. Food was great but was just delivered at wrong time.

Decent tasting food, quick delivery on Monday night. Lemon chicken was far too sour but everything else was great. Plus 20% off was big bonus

The delivery time was great, however the chicken in both our dishes wasn't very nice and looked and tasted really cheap. The Pad Thai tasted very sweet and wasn't very authentic. The duck was dry and we didn't get much meat for our pancakes. The spring rolls were lovely.

All good and I'd definitely order again.

The food arrived 10 mins before the expected delivery time which was welcomed. The lemon chicken was to die for. Best I've eaten in a long time. Overall everything went down perfectly. Will definite order again.

Delicious Chinese food. Special fried rice, chow mein and duck rice is as good as always. The crispiness and hotness of the salt pepper prawn and squid was amazing. Could not fault any of my order. Keep up the excellent work. Full stars.

The beef ho fun noodles were pretty good, and really hot. Unfortunately the sauce for the chicken balls had leaked all over the box which wasn't ideal. Delivery was on time and correct. Fairly good value for money.

Kung Po chicken wiothout batter and tasteless and still a bit raw.not cooked long enough to achieve mixing of flavours of the ingredients. Tofu OK

A very good Chinese. Much cheaper than the other chinese nearby, "the singha?" grilled dumplings where delicious just like the ones i had on my travels in the south of China. Delivery was quick, i asked for chopsticks and they gave me a few pairs. i will be ordering from here again soon!

It was delivered quickly however we ordered a Can of normal Coke and we were given a piece of frozen chocolate cake instead - clearly were out of normal coke but when they arrived they didn't inform us and we found out when they had gone. Disappointing.

I've always been a fan of this place, but I think they might have changed chefs or something because the food this time wasn't quite on point. A touch bland to be honest. E.g. King prawn fried rice had not much soy and the prawns had no flavour whatsoever, not worth the £7. Suffice to say, it was good whilst it lasted and I will not be ordering from Dolphins again.

Duck and Pork dishes are lovely. Have used before and will continue to. Great service & food.

would give this way more than 5 stars if possible. delivered in 35 mins and food was fantastic - especially the prawn dim sum and the squid. best chinese I have had in a long time and the family loved it too.

Delivery time as such was not bad, around 45 minutes, but we asked for the order to arrive at a specific time and unfortunately they did not adhere to this request at all, instead completely ignored it and delivered food 20 minutes earlier than requested. Quality okay but have eaten better chinese, not as greasy as usual, taste 4/5, however expensive in comparison to portion sizes.

2 sauce pots for the half duck...good call. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Should consider shedding the duck, would draw in more duck lovers like us. But overall, perfect.

Without doubt the worst Chinese I have ever had. Ordered 3 chilli beefs. 1 arrived. The pork dumplings looked like something out of Gremlins 2. There were bones in my duck spring rolls. Why? The roast duck was burnt to a crisp. Even the prawn crackers were dodgy. Absolutely appalling. Dolphin wankers

The first time I ordered through Dolphin the food was great but the last 2 times it was terrible. Greasy Pad Thai that tasted heavily of lemon and badly burned and greasy prawn toast. Never again!

Great place, with fantastic top notch service. Made a mistake on my order, but upon notifying them, the fixed it right away. Will defitnetly order from them again.

Cannot fault the service or delivery time. The quality of the meal was good, not the best chinese food i've ever had but still very very nice for a reasonable price, and the portion sizes were very good. Wouldn't hesitate to order again.

One of the best Chinese takeaway I eaten from. The quality of food and service has been constantly good for me. I have tried other takeaways when Dolphin was not open until later and it does not match to the excellent food Dolphin has. Well done!!!

Best Chinese and thai food around. Especially the yellow bean sauce amazing finger licking. The dim sims are absolutely perfect! And for 6 for that price you can't beat it. Delivery people are always friendly and happy and never complain. ...by favourite takeaway on here!

Everything was great although the restaurant forgot out chilli beef and then wouldn't answer the phone as we tried to call. It's a little thing but may make me unsure about going back again. Normally very good so very disappointed.

Fast and friendly delivery service. Generous portions- the pad Thai was not pad Thai at all, in fact wasn't edible, the Thai green curry wasn't a genuine Thai green curry-although wasn't too bad to eat. Tom yum soup was too sweet but was pleasant. The dishes contained A LOT of chicken and prawns- pleasant surprise for a take away. I would probably not order again as the food although generous portions wasn't what it's meant to be.

Chose them as they were one of only a few takeaways that could deliver before 5....Delivery took much longer than expected (nearly 1.5 hours... at 4pm in the afternoon) I called a few times and they fobbed me off. Good food, not the best service.

Seafood soup was not seafood soup. Chop suey was actually sweet and sour. Coke had already been opened a LONG time ago, had already been used then given to me with my meal. Fair to say it's a poor quality establishment.
