Pepped the chixken was cold wouldn't even look at me the driver sat outside on his phone for about must of been finalising a sale or doing customer service he was on the ohone when he eventually rang the buzzer and entered. ordered food for myself and my daughter, food was over 30 mins late, stone cold and the cans of pop we got with our food were 3 months out of date!

Food was vile tasted like he cooked it yesterday even though I went inside to order chips was freezing burger was cold and tasted old lettuce was brown and the gravy tasted like petrol 🤢🤮 hash brown was hard the whole thing was disgusting couldn't even finish it, never again will I ever step foot in that place and I only went because everywhere else was closed on my lunch break

Delivery guy waited for me and was extremely polite and nice.

ordered the full platter for it to arrive with no chips or salad. Called and was told they would send them out, half an hour later I'm sat with a cold chicken and gravy and still no chips or salad. Guess that'll be the last time they have any of my business!

When they ordered my food it was cold I try to get back in contact with them they are not answering I paid over 20 pound for it and the food so cold and they are not answering I demand not to order from them again

Almost an hour to bring my food when it was accepted straight away and it took them 30 minutes to bring it to the address

I love dixy chicken normally. Don’t know who made this food but it wasn’t fresh. It was cold and stale not impressed atall

Always enjoyed the food from Dixie Eccles. My favourite is the full Peri Peri meal. Ive also enjoyed the pizza and burgers. I would recommend this restaurant.

the order come destroyed the bag was ripped the chips packaging was all squashed and chips were tipped some chips were outside of the container, the food was cold and tasted like they was rewarmed and also I didn't receive my drink with my meal just a bottle of coke tht I payed for.

The food was a disgrace!! First of all they missed a main meal off with a. Drink called up they argued at first then said they would deliver the food and the can, the food came this time still with no can, he then asked to leave. A good review, here’s my review, never go near that place for food, the food was absolutely terrible to the point even the dogs wouldn’t eat the chicken!! If I could give 0 stars I would!!!

Food arrived late, when contacting the restaurant they kept putting the phone down on me. When the food arrived it was freezing cold and the coke was clearly taken from the freezer as it was like a slushy. Will definitely not be ordering from here again, shame as it use to be great.

Ordered food to wait 40 minutes past the delivery time, to call and then be hung up on, to finally be told that there was an issue with their cooker - and that our food would be 10 minutes. 30 minutes later it finally arrived.

my order was over and hour late and it shouldnt have been as it was only chips when they arrived they were dripping wet in water and half of them were gone im so unhappy

I have never had a bad experience ordering from Dixy. Especially when you take into account that my order are always early hours in the morning.

Delivery took a while but driver was friendly,, quite surprised reading most of these reviews. My food was lovely I had the lunch box chicken was well marinated,, nice and spicy and burger was nice also. Chips were good. Best chicken I have had for a while and it was definitely cooked right 👏👏👏

Solid dixy chicken. Chicken was moist and flavourful. Chips had peri peri salt on them which made them even better. Only issue was that the chicken could have been crispier.

The chicken was over cooked very dry. The barm cakes were dry & hard. The chips cooked in old oil..yak! Awful food

I am really unhappy with my order. Chicken was cold and really dry as if it was from atleast yesterday! Furious with this as I order from here regularly but what I’ve been given today is not acceptable.

Dixie Eccles is probably my favourite local take away. I normally go for the peri-peri platter meal which keeps me going for a few days of food. Today i went with the Pizza deal 3 with Hot & Spicy & Meat Feast. Both Pizza's very lovely taste. I should've added some chilli to the Meat Feast :) love my spice, but overall lovely taste and its more like a thin-pan style which I prefer. Overall the staff and delivery guys are all nice people and often if i want to change something they are very good reading the delivery notes. I highly recommend them

Dodd was freezing cold. Chips tasted like they’ve been warmed up many times. Gravy was bland. & the chicken on the burger was like eating cardboard.

We ordered two chicken burgers and chips from here tonight and my partner had already eaten his burger before realizing it was mostly raw. Before biting into it I always check it’s cooked properly and could see the chicken was raw. They offered to deliver again which they have sent two more burgers that have raw bits on them. My partner now also feels very sick. Don’t bother ordering from here! I’ve heard bad things about here before but didn’t think it would be that bad but it was AWFUL. I am also 7 months pregnant so glad I didn’t eat that burger! The chips also didn’t taste cooked and were cold.

Came a long way just to go back home and open up bitter BURNT CHIPS! so so annoyed!

The cob was cooked in something that completely destroyed flavour of it, so. After leaving it to have as last and savour it I had to throw it away after one bite that's how atrocious it was the notes seem to not be read, I asked to have receipt attached to order as its important and haven't received it, 1 star for inedible cob and not reading notes properly.

Not only all this has happend but checked my account and ive been charged for this iteam of my order again today and money has come out of my bank i demand my money back asap or i will take this to a professional !!!

Nearly an hour late (21:50 delivery time, arrived at 22:44) with no apology as driver was on phone when arrived. Some of the food could be described as lukewarm at best, whilst the rest is what you would consider stone cold. Order fairly regularly from here, so know the quality of the food - but couldn’t eat it tonight due to the above.

normally when I have ordered pizza it's been fairly good. today I was really disappointed, firstly pizza box must have been tipped sideways as half of pizza was squashed, that wasn't a big deal as these things can happen, but pizza quality was bad, felt like not much effort was put into making the pizza, base bottom was soft with no colour, pizza flavour wasn't good either. I ended up putting pizza in oven for 15 mins which sorted the base but pizza flavours just wernt there.
