Order came to £24 might as well of put my money in the bin. Curly fries were squashed by the driver, oily and next to none in. 14 inch mighty meaty freezing with no toppings on. Requested a refund but wouldn’t without me bringing the food back even tho had it delivered and I was in a rush as needed to be somewhere! Disgrace! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Always use marios because it’s the best kebab around but the second I walked in I knew it was under new management. My favourite thing about this place was the garlic mayo, it was second to none but the second I saw them pour the awful garlic mayo that you can get from b&m bargains I was HEART broken and knew what I was in for. I ordered and they said 10 mins, turned up 15 mins later and they hadn’t even started cooking so had to wait. What a shame the only decent kebab shop in the area is already going down hill after changing hands. Hopefully they learn and live up to the expectations of the past.

Ordered 3 "meal deals" and a pizza. Waited over an hour for delivery and they didn't bring any chips with the meals. Tried calling the restaurant but got hung up on. This place used to be banging but has seriously gone downhill. Won't be bothering again.

So, this restaurant had me a little confused. Mario's is slap bang in the middle of 2 of the best curry houses in Walkden, Darjeeling and Xotica. Both these do amazing big kebabs (xotica pipping it to the post with their bad boy sauce), so, you would of thought that being in the middle of both, Mario's would know how to do a kebab as well? Well, sadly no, no where near on par as the other restaurants. The portion size versus the price you pay is not worth it at all. I had a donner kebab and opted for having it on naan bread for £1.50 extra, don't bother, pitta bread will probably be the same size and thickness. The naan bread (looked like a tortilla wrap) probably was around 6/7in in diameter, then squeezed in a small box with the meaniest portion of donner meat I've ever had, £6.99, It left me feeling still hungry. Also in the order, we had a kids pizza meal, supreme chicken burger meal, chicken strips meal and chicken nugget meal (Well, chicken chunks meal), all the chicken seemed over cooked. It was all dark golden and chewy. The chips were also the same I'm afraid, chewy and hard. The Pizza was actually really nice, can't fault at all. Dont get me wrong, the kebab actually was tasty, but these guys need to pop next doors and see a REAL beefy sized kebab and see why they are really busy, because, if Mario's don't beef up their meals, I can't see them keeping repeat customers.

We've just had our 3rd takeaway from here and it was fantastic again. To date we've had the farm house pizza, peri burger meal, supreme chicken burger meal, Donner meat and chicken kebab. All superb. If you're thinking of getting a pizza, get it with garlic butter as an extra.

Bad Service. Waited 2 hours for a delivery when called to ask where my order is. They lied and said its on the way but 2nd call I made they apologised as they forgot about us. Tried them again after a month, promises of additional food because of the bad service and basically called us a liar. I even have them on my ring doorbell saying it. Never go back!

Took 1hr 40mins for my food to be delivered. Called them 1hr after I ordered. Its on the way. 20mins later I called tbh with you we haven't started your order. Nearly midnight when I got my takeaway. Spoiled my evening. This is the 2nd time it's happened. Will not be going back any time soon

I live in Walkden and the delivery time is always good and the food has always been amazing, I personally have never had a bad experience and I always order from Marios, my favourite is the kebab wrap, always tasty.

Pizza looked battered and it was cold wings were cold as well won’t be oreding from here again

Food never arrived 2 hour and 50 minutes wait for a chicken nugget meal rediculous and never answer the phone I tried 12 times then finally getting through which then he argued over the phone shouting that he waited for me which he didn’t because I was sat outside waiting then put the phone down on me so rude never gave me a refund would not recommend

Used to love the burgers here. Brioche bun, proper juicy meat patties. They've reverted to cheap buns and thin cheap meat patties but the same price. Please go back to them great burgers you did.

I am 30 seconds away AND it was 30 MINS LATE PLUS they missed the donner kebab off my order and delivered it LATER and it was COLD absolutely HORRIBLE service.

Ordered two kebabs one came with no donner meat or shish and they both came with rock hard naan bread The new owners have emailed me replacing the order as a show of good faith, they were really polite and professional Thank you

It's my first time trying this takeaway. I've read lots of bad reviews but I've heard that it has improved a lot under the new management so I gave it a shot and they didn't disappoint.

Absolutely ridiculous time to wait for a pizza on a Wednesday!!! Over 2 hours!! I can see on another review that it says under new management…. I think not! It’s been like this for several months!! They need to hire more staff or hire staff that can work efficiently in a busy environment! And when I’ve tried calling to see where the order is, no answer!! This will be the last time I order from here! I don’t actually know how this business still operates with all these bad reviews!

Do not order from here. Especially if paying in advance. Your food won't arrive. Basically stealing. 2.5 hours. 8 phone calls without an answer. Honestly, try somewhere else.

I ordered the full housebkebab on Naan, it came without the naan! I did ask for chilli sauce and garlic mayo but did not realise how smothered it would be. I usually love Mario's when i order and collect in the shop but this was my first time delivery and I won't be doing it again!

Burnt pizza, soggy chips, over an hour for it to be delivered. Avoid, this place has seriously gone down hill.

Chips soggy. Food an hour late. Pizzas cremated. It used to be good but now just a total mess. Resent the order, just as cremated. No refund offered. Avoid.

Not sure if it's changed hands as there were different people working there. I ordered online, tried to ring after an hour when I still hadn't received my order. After the first attempt, it was clear they then left the phone off the hook. I drove to Mario's, he said the driver had already left with my order, I went home, 15-20 mins later the same guy that told me the order had been taken, turned up at my door with my order. No apology, no refund, nothing

Ordered food £45 which was good but took 3 hours to be delivered with no apology or freebies, this is not acceptable so won't be using again.

Unfortunately, I hate giving bad reviews buy after ordering from here for years I'm now going to stop. Bad food, lied to on the phone, eventually I drove down to the place to be greeted by over worked and uninterested staff being screamed at by who can only assume is the manager or owner, they went into panic as I was the last person they expected through the door. I had 5 kids waiting for their weekend takeaway to have to give them beans on toast. The order was over 30quid, we're regular and the wait time exceeded 2 hours. Such a shame the place is being run so poorly. For the record I don't eat from here but my kids love it looks like we have to find somewhere else now. Come on Mario's buck your ideas up.

Best kebabs in walkden. Believe me ive tried them all. Chilli sauce is georgous.

Would rate considerably lower. Giving a 1 star is very generous. Placed an order for myself and my family. Was told numerous times that it would be ready in 5-10mins. I was still waiting for over 30mins to be told it could be another 20+minute wait. They said the pizza oven wasn't working yet they made a garlic bread and then threw it in the bin I used to be a regular customer in there and now I would never return.

Absolutely lovely tasty food , ordered take away , was deliverd with in half hour , so fresh , full of flavour , can honestly say was the best take away our family has had in months , would highly recommend.

Ordered a pizza that said salami(isabella) .this Is the second time I had this and on both occasions it has had a ham type on not salami.i even requested in special instructions to be salami as dont eat the ham.i have found out they do not do salami at all as it is all halalbut they never responded ,it was the driver who had to inform me .eveything is halal so it is Turkey ham they do.there are lots of products that say salami when in fact it is Turkey ham so suggest they change the menu descriptions

I ordered from here the other day I thought I'd give it a try the customer service was good and they were polite so was happy with that, The food was really disappointing for me, The pizza wasn't hot the burger tatsed bland and the lettuce you get in it wasn't fresh at all so for a burger like that and costed £5.50 wasn't worth it. The worst thing that came was the fries well just one frie that I found with mold all over it. Discusting! I'll finish on a positive the drinks where nice and cold

Under new management so thought I’d give Marios a try for the first time in a long time. Delivery was 10 mins early. Food was tasty. Free garlic dip with pizza which was really nice! Only give 4 stars as there were too many undercooked onions and peppers on the pizza. Would definitely order again!

Only thing that was good was the garlic bread,it took them 20minutes to make it and deliver it,the donner meat was rubbery,chips didnt even taste like chips,nan bread was chewy and not fresh! It was vile

Went there for chicken and chips. Service was very slow and the chicken was disgusting, just loads of batter and the chicken inside tasted stale. If it wasn't late at night, I would have taken it back but I was already home when I realised. I'll never go back there

Been using this place for ages. Previously great food and fab customer service. After tonight never again. Accused of not paying when we had proof we had. Spoken to like I was an illiterate idiot. I will never order from these rude, ignorant people again. Definitely 0 out of 10. Zero stars.

So to start with I’ve been going to marios for the past 8/9 years!! Always highly rated this place and recommended it. BUT it’s been disappointing recently! Last couple of times chicken burger has been dry as a bone and you get less and less chips every time. Onion rings were over cooked and Garlic bread with cheese was absolutely dripping with grease, I was absolutely starving so after soaking off the grease with kitchen towel I ate half of it. BIG mistake I’m now sat here with stomach cramps and feel really sick. Sorry Marios but I’ll be definitely finding a new takeaway. Tonight was the last straw.
