Walkden store has closed down so had to try Swinton. Ordered the new bullseye bbq pizza and they delivered the wrong pizza. The pizza I got was also undercooked to the point where the cheese hadn't melted properly and the meat had the same pre-oven texture but warm. Called them and they offered to make another if I brought back the entire existing pizza to prove my claim which wasn't possible as I have young children that I cant leave home alone. I found this an unreasonable request given they were at fault and i was left £17 out of pocket with no edible pizza.

Excellent customer service and good food.

Ordered an XXL American Hot from here recently. The service, as in notifications and delivery was fine. The pizza however was a big disappointment, there was literally no tomato sauce on the base, which despite the Pepperoni and jalapeños made it taste very bland. 😔 I've had the same several times from Domino's and I'll be sticking with that one in the future as it's much more tasty in every aspect in my opinion. Disappointed.

Absolutely terrible service! Ordered at 1pm via company website for delivery at 3:30pm (first available delivery slot), company pizza tracker absolutely useless (doesn't actually track driver just updates every 15 mins or so to next phase). Restaurant is literally 4 minutes drive to my house, food was 30 minutes late and had to ring restaurant twice to be told "sorry" but no actual explanation. DO NOT USE!!!

In love with the pizzas papa johns , espEcially The works and All meat !! I can say it is The best option in the town ! The quality of food is so good !!!! And the best part is you get it really hot 🔥 As they deliver food so quickly!!!! Thank you ☺️

Got 2 xxl pizzas, wings and a drink last week to share with my friend. Everything was done to perfection when we collected. And the food was really good. Beat dominoes pizza which takes a lot.

Ordered pizza from here a few times now. Generous amount of good quality toppings on well made pizza. They have always included a free dip. Delivered to the door piping hot every time. They have some good offers on their website so good value as well. Highly recommended.

Had Papa John's years ago and fell in love with it, had it again and maybe it's just this store maybe it's all but it just wasn't nice at all also absolutely gutting they've stopped the tomato dipping sauce

Really bad bad service, received a freezing cold pizza and the wrong sides , delivery took ages so no wonder it was cold when received, rang to tell them and was told " we are busy " and put the phone down on me. Have since messaged via social media and was told someone would answer me in 10 days ,I've had nothing back , will never use again just really really bad service. Got pizza from dominoes on Sunday was piping hot and lovely and the same price .... do not use this place they are shocking !!!

Ridiculously overpriced pizza. Says feeds 5 people if I paid extra which I did. The final medium stuffed pizza cost £28 and fed 4. Also ordered steak sandwich for £7.95. Hardly any steak/beef. Rip off. Stay well clear

Collection - got a free XL with the meal, usually every Friday I get the same pizza, has always been fast, tasty and consistent.

Food took over 2 and half hours to come, called repeatedly to cancel, was eventually promised a refund which have never received

Ordered via app, an hour passes and it's still "being made". Ring up, guy didn't even ask for my order number and just says "it'll be a few minutes" before hanging up on me. Go dominos instead....

Not accepting cash so no ta, also a bit skeptical as sounds like staff who worked at the walkden store (who was shut down for wiping their balls on the pizzas)

Today October 14, 2023 I ordered a barbecue chicken pizza with the drizzle on top and barbecue sauce, and it came completely with no barbecue sauce on the bottom so it was a dam dry pizza. I called and they gave me a lame excuse no refund or replacement pizza. I spent over £50 on 2 pizzas. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!

I tried Papa Johns for the first time on Thursday. They had a lunch deal, just £2.99 for a personal pizza. Myself and a work colleague ordered one. The website took my money and order was processing, but never went to the 'in the oven' stage. 1 hour after I ordered (had called a lot and no answer), I decided to drove over. When I got there, the guy in store explained there was some sort of issue opening up and he had been called in to cover. He couldn't find my order but after showing him the confirmations I had, he started working on the pizza. He actually made me a small pizza instead of a personal to apologise. The pizza was OK, not dominoes quality, but if you don't want to remortgage your house they seem to be an affordable option. Not the greatest first experience though overall.

They said on app that the food had arrived but it hadn’t. Had to phone them to find out if they had delivered to wrong house. They said it was a fault on the app? Came ten minutes later not very warm.

I love d pizza dough..I love the cheese . Overall taste is delicious. I love the garlic cream dip. How ever, I do not like the gamey smell from the chicken on it...I picked mine out before I could eat more. Overall,a delicious tasty pizza

Unfortunately this was my 4th or 5th time ordering here, and the penultimate order wasn't the best, but thisnladt order I got today was beyond the pale! I don't mind spending £30 on pizza which we know is the simplest of ingredients, but when your going to charge me £30 there is absolutely no excuse to be this tight with toppings, I've never seen anything like it! Some slices don't have any toppings on at all. The ones that do, have one or two pieces of toppings but nothing that would actually affect the flavour to any degree! Really disappointed and won't order again.

Awful place!! Awful customer service! I placed an order at 19:00 on Sunday 21st May. At 19:47 I received a call from them to say they are cancelling my order as I am out of range! Then why is the website letting me order then?! Not my problem. The manager said she could get it delivered to me at 21:00 which I accept. The pizzas came to be at 20:30 and they were burnt and rock hard! My 5 year old son couldn't bite through it after we all just got back from a long holiday. I am taking this to head office with pictures after they said they'd refund me but they haven't. Absolute disgrace!!

Took a long time for delivery. Pizza was cold which I could get over but my first peice had a long hair under the cheese. Its all in the bin now. Pizza quality not as good as domino's or Pizza hut but definitely a bit cheaper. Pay for what you get I guess

It's Papa John's. It was neither exceptionally good nor exceptionally bad. The employees seem to hate working there less than other Papa John's I've been in, though, so that's nice.

I had pizza from here this weekend and wow! The pizzas were delicious but the delivery driver we had, Seb, was even better! Really polite and delivered it quickly. I dont usually write reviews but in this case I had to he was such a nice man. 10/10 recommend hope we get Seb again. He deserves a raise for going above and beyond

Paid £25 for two pizza offer. Supposed to be the Wworks. Slap dash pizzas. Absolute disgrace. Food was also raw. Kept food to send to head office. No customer support.

The shop lost my first order, but after I called the shop they apologised and re made my order and they were so apologetic about what happened and I couldn't fault them.

Ordered two pizzas and one of them was a completely different pizza to what we had ordered. It also had two hairs in it! Will not be ordering again!

Delivered quickly but the pizza...I would rather have gone to Asda for one of their pensioner made £3.99 specials. Base was similar to a "make your own pizza", couldn't taste the sauce at all. Sides we ordered were obviously just a throw a chunk of cheese on some potatoes and chuck it in a box. "Better ingredients, better pizza....better go elsewhere!"

Pizza was delivered late and was cold. Box looked like it was stepped on and when opened toppings were stuck to the lid of the box. I called the store asking for a refund because I refused to eat their pizza. They said they’d process it and never did. Ended up throwing out the pizza. Don’t waste your money. Go to Pizza Hut or Dominoe’s.

Bit late in writing this but recieved an offer which triggered my memory. New years eve ordered pizzas and sides at my daughters. Knew we would have to wait that wasn't an issue. The food arrived after well over an hour. Pizzas were horrible and only warm. Sides only warm and soggy and supposed to come with a bottle of pop but didn't get one. Didn't ring as it was new years eve wasn't ending the year in a moan. Won't be chancing it again.

Waited over an hour to be told the delivery driver was on his way to pick it up but the pizza had been ready ten minutes and it was going to be another half hour. No notification when booking there would be such a long wait . Rubbish service.

Want cold pizza 2 hours after ordering then go with papa johns! Appalling service. Won't be buying from here ever again.

Totally agree ordered at 230 for 530 delivery rang at 550 asking where was as had to leave house 615 due to high school placement to be told no drivers and would be after 630 then told them no good for me deliver after 815 got pure attitude as pizza was cooked so expected to wait over an hour for cooked pizza told them a call would have been nice to again getting pure attitude pizza finally arrived 850 and was cold as a fridge totally unacceptable as was told young children waiting and a call would help whe arrived pizza was cold and stale next time will go to walkden more professional and less attached ring them

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Pizza arrived late again and driver had been out with it 25 mins doing 2 deliveries before getting to me. We paid £28 for the pizzas and they were cold and dry. Rang and asked for the manager and was asked why I wanted the manager. I said I’d rather discuss with the manager. All the time she was away from the phone it was like a youth club, all you could hear was bad language from the staff. The assistant manager Sarah came on the phone I explained what the problem was and she said she will leave a message for lauren the manager. I said to her as she was ending the conversation that not once did she offer a simple apology as the acting manager and her reply was that I had attitude and she couldn’t be bothered as I was annoyed over the pizza. No customer service at all and we won’t be ordering from there again. It’s like a youth club with a so called manager with a bad attitude. Totally unprofessional and I will be contacting the franchise owner .

Purchased 3 different pizza's from papa John's in swinton, decided to collect the pizza's, the place was clean and staff ok, all 3 pizzas were boring, tasteless and not very nice. Will stick to pizza hut or even domino's in future, to be honest I would put morrisons and asda fresh pizza's a head of papa John's

Don't usually leave reviews. But my pizza got delivered by a guy named Mike and his customer service was excellent so shoutouts Mike your a real one. Food was great too

Absolute dodge. Order a pizza (22:27). Wait an hour. Ring up. Get told I should've had a call it was going to take Hour and half, but the driver is out with it "he is dropping one off then your next". Tracker said is was despatched at 23:07. Another half hour goes by. Nothing has come to my door. Tell you what I'll ring them.....lines are closed. Next thing driver turns up at 00:10. Seen on his phone it was 1hr 11 mins over (presuming that when pizza was ready to leave shop) So I open pizza in front of him. Stone cold. Have a chat with him, he's in agreement it's out of order. If I wanted to do some home cooking I wouldn't of ordered out, now I'm left reheating a effing Pizza after my bedtime. Good job it's not a school night. On the brightside that fecker Hancock has resigned. Sort your shop out Swinton!! Where's my money?

We ordered at 7.45 to collect at 8.30, when I got there I was told it would be a few minutes. It was clearly very busy (england and scotland playing in the euros). 30 minutes later I'm still there. Please manage peoples expectations better. A few minutes is 5 or 6, not half an hour. Don't take orders for a time you realistically can't achieve, you are only going to disappoint people. Pizzas were nice though.

Very poor customer service. Unfortunately have to give minimum of 1 star to post a review. Pizza ordered Thursday evening, rang to chase and advised no order - but payment taken on card. Eventually received refund on Monday after being forced to prove payment made on card, calling into store to meet manager, who wasn't available at agreed time, leaving staff on site to deal with. *Update from response* manager didn't look into it, was advised to prove payment made and that no member of staff had processed an order on Thursday from address. This could have been dealt with later on that Thursday or the next day as your card payments would not have match the balance on tills, not until the customer had to prove the payment! Was advised no manager on site on Monday after waiting 10 minutes in shop front with nobody coming to counter - only being seen as a delivery needed to be signed for from a courier.

Lovely juicy Pizzas and the Tayter Tots are ace n'all! Hard to choose between these and the other well known main competition now, in sunny Swinton but our 2 lads prefer Papa's, so that's that. Plus the Special Garlic Sauce is just to die for, as my current wife says. 👍🏻🔥⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cold tots, Pizza base was soggy, too much pizza sauce so the cheese just slid straight off. tots were cold on the bottom like they had just been piled in a box and put under a grill for a minute.Not a good first impression at all. Especially with all of the amazing pizza places around here.
