Dixy Chicken Hanley in Stoke-on-Trent

The food was tasty, especially the Peri Peri chicken and pizza, which had great flavor and generous portions. However, the order arrived a bit cold, and some items were missing, which was disappointing. The staff were friendly

My experience was not great; we came here to get a fish masala. It was advertised online to be really good, so I went to go order one, they asked if I wanted it as a meal and spicy for additional charges. I made it a meal, added the spiciness and waited patiently for my food. When my order was ready, they served me quite a small portion, around 30% fish and 70% chips. It looked plain, so as I sat to eat at the tables, I took my first bite. If I wasn't disappointed enough already, there was no taste, tasted frozen and there was absolutely no spiciness which I paid extra for. Quite literally just frozen fish they grabbed from the freezer. I was quite disappointed overall. It cost me £13.99, which in my opinion is incredibly overpriced for what you receive. No wonder why the fish masala wasn't on the menu, it shouldn't be served there if it doesn't do well at that resturant. There's better options at other places, with bigger portions and a better atmosphere. I will say however, there are good options at Dixy Chicken, the chicken paninis are great, if you want to get something from here that tastes good, just stick to chicken, burgers and chips.

Okay.... so we were in the area and decided to visit because we saw that this is supposed to be the best Dixy in the country. So we thought why not check it out. When we placed our order the man didn't ask what level of spice we wanted so we let him know afterwards. The food was put into takeaway boxes and we asked for sauces which were then put into another takeaway box. So the chilli sauce we are used to is usually given in pots and it is the best sauce everrr. This was not the same which was disappointing. The burger and chips were just not the same as the Slough one- which I have to say is 1000% better. I never appreciated it before!! But yeah this place is defo not the best dixy in the country. If you fancy a 2hr45min drive to Slough then check out dixy farnham road instead LOL. Oh and it didn't help that the table wasn't very clean and there were flies everywhere!! And Slough is also cheaper - I pay over £11 for two peri burger meals. We paid £18 for the same!!!

Food is on point the new deal Family Feast is outstanding a variety which no one in stoke Hanley branch can beat it got your juicy chicken wings with the succulent zinger or fillet burger + Fries not just that you got the 12inch Freash dough pizza top of if with drink thrown in to finish it off. Dixy hats off to you are smashing it.

Orders not taken properly. The boy at the counter argues with you when you tell him that the order is incorrect. Really bad customer service. The prices on the front door and windows are different to what they charge you as well which is fake advertising! Awful takeaway!

Got my order wrong and then I called them i was told its my fault and they want my daughter to eat burger with mayonaise which we specificly asked no mayo on the fone when placed order as she is Allergic to it .. I am restaurant manager myself I was told she can eat the same burger as they will not replace or refund.and its my fault i placed the order wrong .what bad service .. bined the burger

Food was terrible when I placed an order for delivery. The southern fried chicken was dry it tasted like it was kept in a warmer for a few hours before sending it off for delivery. Also, the chips tasted nasty but the delivery was on time however, a place like dixy should maintain its services to its high standard but I must say you get what you pay for and quality of food is poor

Went there for a quick meal after gym, I received THE best customer service, the food tasted just perfect they have a very broad menu even selling Prime bottle meals.

Food is so good for price and comes pretty fast, upstairs tho is freezing cold they have no heating whatsoever and we could barely enjoy our food. Toilet was disgusting aswell

Really frustrated, caught food poisoning, and really suffered with severe cramps, diarrhoea and sickness, whilst pregnant, really hope the baby is safe 😔. Dangerous to eat from there.

How simple is it to add what is written on the notes pretty hard for these guys and this isn’t the first time this is why I rarely order hoping they have someone who can read English and understand enough English to not mess up my order and if you’re done making the order and forget to add the sauces the normal thing to do would be add sauce tubs but not for these guys they don’t really care what you order they’ll do what they like. Highly avoid this place if i could give it 0 stars i would

all i can say that the chips were not cooked at all and the food quality was very poor. my kids didn't eat there food as the kids mini burger was spicy. Dixy is what it used to be. shame

Ordered from here multiple times and everytime I’ve had the same issue. Pay £4.99 for a ‘Premium’ milkshake which is just flavoured milk. Told the takeaway multiple times to actually make the milkshake a milkshake and make it thick with chunks but everytime they’ve disappointed. The actual food is good.

Was looking forward to ordering, called up and spoke to someone and they seemed careless and rude. I had a leaflet posted through my door so wanted to try it and it advertises they have nacho cheese sauce so I asked when I rung up and they said they don't do it at all. False advertisement and rude .

Customer service was shocking! I went on the phone multiple times trying to correct my order and they would turn off the phone!! The correspondent I had was just rude and aggressive for no reason. Overall, for 3 mediocre meals, the price cost over £20 and was definitely NOT WORTH IT. Save your money and buy elsewhere from Stoke!!!

They gave me rotten chicken i have filed a complaint in Stock on trent council i have also shown them pictures of the wings i am going to sue them i ate 4 wings out of 6 and they were all rotten.
