Nando's Stoke - Etruria Mills in Stoke-on-Trent

Can feel a bit of a victim of its location as a faceless eatery in a rather bleak, asphalt ridden corner of Hanley. Pleasant inside and gets busy often so normally has a good atmosphere. Food can fee a tad rushed out and undercooked don occasion, but if you know Nandos, you'll more or less know what to expect. Friendly staff

Went on a busy Friday night and had an estimated 20 minutes wait time but was seen within about 8. The staff are friendly and energetic. The food was great as always and the sauce/cutlery station was clean and continuously replenished.

Have been to many outlets of Nando's but unfortunately in this particular one the customer service was pretty slow. The time it took to deliver the glass was a sign, but liked the thoughtful suggestion of a glass of water for me since I hadn't ordered any soft drinks. But seeing our food waiting under the heat lamp for nearly eight minutes was excruciating and really not how they serve usually. Presumably the staff were tired after a busy early evening service but it was a shame as their standards are very high.

Absolutely rubbish....food tasted like it was made a day or 2 ago and then reheated in a microwave..... Baffled me

Visited for my daughter’s birthday. For how busy the restaurant was I was really impressed with the speed of service. The manager was very good at bringing out the birthday cake and creating a good atmosphere. Great food.

Value for money really poor. Had a salad for £8.50 and it was all mixed leaf. Very little tomato, feta and olives and finished it within a minute. Very poor Service was no existent with app order and one mechanical feeling table touch. Avoid

For the money I spent it was shocking, nearly 9 pounds for half a chicken I got a leg and a thigh the rest was missing, half a chicken is exactly that half a chicken 2 tiny pieces of garlic bread and a shrivelled up corn on the cob, my sons burger was no bigger than McDonald's breakfast muffin, what a total rip off.

I chose this Nando's based on the reviews and this is very true that the staff members there are polite,helpful and friendly, the lady took us to the seat was welcoming and the gentleman worked at the till was very polite . We had lunch on a weekday at about 1ish so it wasn't that busy. There are free parking space right outside the restaurant so it is super convenient. The food was served quickly and it was fresh and nicely cooked. All of us enjoyed our meals and we will be definitely coming back again.

Ordered through deliveroo, the driver didn't pick up my cold bag but brought the warm food phoned up and spoke to Amelia, very pleasant person very helpful and made sure we got our stuff. :)

It was our very first time at Nando‘s and our waitress Sally was such a ray of sunshine. She explained everything and took really good care of us! The food was very delicious and we look forward to visit again!

Thanks to the manager on shift Daniel, I received a freebie for my birthday celebration. Me and my partner absolutely love Nandos and this one is the best one we have visited by far. The food is amazing and the staff is brilliant. It was busy and they still accomedated me with great care and attention. I was happy to spend my birthday here today! Thank you!

First time here at nandos... So the food came quickly... Staff very attentive... The only criticism we have is portion size is small for the price you pay... Our plates came half empty.. Would have been nice if fries were included in the price or a side salad... All sides were extra... We did order the cobs but even those were thin and small.... Coffee also would've been good to see on the menu as I'm not a cold drink person. I would come back to nandos but next time would order more sides to be a proper meal. Instead we left feeling we had had an expensive snack! 😢

I had to send a starter back as it was cold but staff were great, my 7 year old loves dinner here, and wants to go whenever he can. Always busy.

I ate here tonight, I am on a work trip so eating alone and the staff here made me feel safe and welcome, food was great. Would recommend to anyone, place was clean, almost full around 5pm, great atmosphere, polite friendly staff.

Delicious food, as always. Sauce selection is great. Food was prepared very quickly, which was nice. Only reason I've given it 4 stars (for atmospheric reasons) is because the music was just too loud. I was basically shouting my order to the guy behind the till - felt silly. Couldn't have a conversation with my husband either. The music was lovely, and keeping in theme, but just needs turning down a notch. Maybe I'm just old 😅

This place is beautiful. The food is yummy and service very quick. My family and I had dinner here around 6:00pm during our holiday to Stoke-on-Trent. It was busy but not chaotic as it could be in some Nando’s.

The best Nandos in North Staffs without a doubt. Food is always 5 star. Service is always 5 star. The entire experience is always 5 star.

First impressions do count and arriving for a late lunch this soon became evident. With only a few tables occupied and despite being noticed by at least 2 staff upon arrival my wife and myself were kept waiting in the "holding" area for a good 5 minutes. We were on the point of leaving when approached and shown to a table of our choice. Not being familiar with Nando`s the system was explained and without a mobile we were obliged to go to the front area to place our order and make payment. Since the emphasis seems to be mainly self service we then had to proceed to another station to collect condiments, cutlery, water etc. Our choices were simple enough i.e. Butterfly chicken breasts, chicken wings, served with very hot and hot sauce respectively. Sides consisted of Peri chips, sweetcorn, and coleslaw. The food itself took some time to arrive (presumably cooked to order), but portions were of a good size, well cooked, and tasty. General impression of the occasion was somewhat mixed. Apart from arrival the meal itself was satisfactory, and the table and seating area clean. However, we thought the restaurant was in need of some refurbishment. The toilet facilities also fell below par, although in fairness to the restaurant that in part was due to clientele use! The noticeable plus factor being the young man who took over our table mid-shift, brought our food, and provided a professional service. He was courteous, helpful, and polite.

Food great as always. Service was fair but not so great. Tables are extremely wet (by cleaning products). Have to ask several times for take away box and they would disappear and not come back. My child asked twice for a colouring box (was on display already) and said ok ok, but my child hasn't got any and came back home disappointed!

Really disappointed. Half the menu wasn’t available. Food was lukewarm, took AGES to get drinks. Lots of staff wandering around. You could see the food piling up on the serving counter and no one being bothered. For what they charge it was so not worth it. We’d just been to a Nando’s in Birmingham less than a week ago and it was absolutely fine.

Went here for dinner one evening.We were greeted on arrival and shown to our table.First time we have ever been to nandos and have to say it won’t be our last the food and drinks were spot on and the waiter Leyton was very polite as were all the other staff we came across

We go here regularly, but today was just terrible service. It was busy, and had to wait for a table, which is not unusual for this venue. We sat down, and spent some time considering the menu, to then be advised there was no thighs left. Having then changed our requirements we queued up to order. When we finally got to the till we were told there was a 40 minute wait! Really it's just grilled chicken. We decided to leave having already wasted 15 minutes. But more importantly we didn't they tell us this as soon as we arrived, instead of wasting our time. Poor service

Absolutely terrible experience, staff just in the kitchen talking no one on the floor, most of my partners chicken wings looked uncooked, they also forgot to give his garlic bread so we had to find someone, young girl with blonde hair we told, 10/15 minutes later we had to re ask someone else (looks like if we didn’t ask again he wouldn’t of received it) go somewhere else where’s worth the money…

Appalling, waited over an hour for food, other people were waiting too and getting refunded, the floor staff didn’t look like other knew what they were doing, tables weren’t being cleaned, wasn’t busy so don’t understand why it was taking too long

Might be me but when you are at a restaurant you expect to be served. Order taken by a human ,might be old fashioned but having to down load the app to order is not a restaurant, I wanted to go to Nandos as the last visit at the Mail box Birmingham was enjoyable experience this was not ,food was ok . Good parking but time limited. So all in all Not for me, if I want a fast food joint better going to a McDonald's.

Called in today with my wife who has a food intolerance, the staff were professional and very helpful, due to there understanding and flexibility we were able to eat there with minimal fuse and attention bought to us. It was so nice to feel normal. Thank again

Work colleagues and I have been coming here for lunch once a week for over a year. The service from the staff has been 10/10 and the reason we keep returning. Harry runs the place in an organised fashion but our favourite has to be Danielle. Constantly busy , works with a smile , always proffesional. It can not be underestimated how great at her job she is and a cannot sing her praises enough.

Outstanding service here tonight! All staff so friendly and helpful, however Daniel went the extra mile! We arrived, 2 adults and 7 teenagers for my son’s 13th birthday. Seated straight away, food service fast and food was delicious. I got an order wrong and Daniel fixed it in seconds with no extra charge. He spoilt the birthday boy. The waitresses were so nice. Our first visit here and would definitely go back based on the outstanding service here tonight. Thank you all at Nando’s Hanley.

Arrived looking for a table for 21 people - given the lunchtime rush hadn't kicked in, the staff managed to accommodate us quickly. Food great. Would return if in this area again.

Great service couldn't do enought firvme and my friend in her wheelchair . Let us chose were to sit . It was my first time there so was unsure of the spicy food Dominic was great even let me have a taster of the lovely chilly jam . Meal was love .on leave Dominic even waited at the door to see us . Amazing worth us weight in gold xx

Note: this was my first time. It was unclear at first that we needed to scan a qr-code. It tool 4 tries to get it to work (Maybe non-uk phone?) While the food was great, one could only pay with credit card in the app (Which I didn't have). The food was good, but it wasn't spicy enough (both medium and the extra Spicy). Due to lack of desserts we went somewhere else.

Great nandos, fast and friendly service but minus a star for generally quite mucky surroundings, floor needed a clean!

Ice macine was making a very loud grinding noise, spoke to staff about it because you literally couldn't talk to each other due to the noise but they said there is nothing they can do as they can't turn it off.

Ordered food and had a chip in the bottom of my hummus. I had not ordered any chips with my meal, so I do not know how it ended up in my food. I told the manager, and they offered me a new hummus after I had almost finished the one I had.

Decent food for a decent ish price!

Food was rubbish had a wobbly table literally couldn’t cut the food because it would she the table that much and spill our drink , went to the counter to order and the chef was pulling his face at my order. All around rubbish experience and definitely won’t be going back .

Nandos always the easiest family choice of restaurants but easily becoming pricey as well. In all we had wonderful meals at Nandos.
