Dixy Chicken in Derby

I feel the 3.5 stars is a bit unfair. I've ordered from here many times and the food has been great. I'll keep ordering too. Thanks guys!

1st order from here, food was good and exactly what I ordered. I did enjoy the chips and was a decent bag full.

food was cold and all packaging was soggy which made food soggy also missing bottle of pop

Better value for money with the taste and portion sizes, that you’ll get with KFC. The food is just getting better and better over the weeks. The chicken is being cooked in a crispier way, and it’s resulted in repeat orders. 🤌

driver was on his phone and wasnt paying attention to the house number wondering round aimlessly... finally heard me shoutin "hello!" and walked up .. didnt say hello.. asked for the code.. so i slammed the door after getting the order. ridiculous.

Cheesy chips portion size was wrong, small arrived instead of large. The wings meal was missing the large piri piri fries. The wings were cold when they arrived. Called the restaurant and they couldn’t be bothered to help me out and just said to contact JustEat. It’s a shame as the food has always been good in the past, not good at all this time. Very disappointed.

Poor service and communication how ever food is good. Guy seemed angry at everything I asked even when I placed my order. When asked how long got aggressive response back. You’ve only been waiting 5mins when I had been waiting 15mins already. Can’t deal with people speaking g you like dirt. Sort it out boys.

Ordered chicken pop corn and a beef burger. Chi ken pop corn was dry and hard and the beef burger was soggy and didn't taste right. After a long time the food had been poor. Hope its better next time

My oder was not delivered and yet marked as that it was. Spoke with Dixy which was a joke as they said speak with Just Eat who have not done anything. Sat here out of pocket and without food!!!

I didn’t receive my food and was really confused when it showed up as delivered. I’d like a refund as I don’t have a lot of money and would like to re order. I shouldn’t be paying for food I’m not getting.

Complete contrary to fast food. Ordered two strip wraps with fries, two people who came in after me were served before me. It seemed like they know each other so I guess 'friends and family' works even in such places. Thankfully I'm not local I was just driving by

as any business could do with working on few certain areas, customer service is nil, you have to force yourself to ask for even a tissue. Order was a cheese burger, not sure which beef they use for patty, but very very dry and crusty edges, slightly burnt, and no cheese slice, I assume they use cheese sauce or something, maybe cheap products,but avoid the burger, you will be dissatisfied. also no salt on chips either. Not a furious rant but owners needs to work on it…could do so much better business wise especially in a busy built up area..

I waited over 25 mins for my food in side the shop a bloke came in 5 mins after me order the same thing chicken strips for him to get his food before me and me then to be told I have to wait 15 minutes for my food and then both staff member staring at me when I asked how long my food was going to be making me feel very uncomfortable and after I asked how long my food was going to be he told me to sit lady like I am come dog never will I walk into that take away again there customer service was awful and I come home to see my food has been chucked in a box and the chicken is not cooked

Food wasn't fresh as usual. Seemed like burger and chicken was in hot holding area for too long. Wings were nice.Sorry Dixy let your self down on this one.

Really great value SFC... more fried than you can eat. My personal favourite 4 strips and fries 🍟 deal which includes a 330ml drink £4.99. Bargain... check out it yourself!

13.30 13/08/24 Just picked up chicken for kids. Completely burnt, it was that bad I thought it was old chicken they had just re-fried. New employee rude, can’t speak English and is put on the front counter. Probably his first job. Instead of saying I will substitute order he stands arguing in front of other customers. He will single handed reduce your customers by 50% in the coming weeks. I’m picking my halal chicken from KFC at least I know it’s not old chicken . Train your new employees before putting them on front desk. As the old saying goes pay peanuts get monkeys. His best comment was leave a negative review i don’t care. Lol

Quality Box meal, Consistently good tasting chicken, Fast delivery, Better prices and good amount of food compared to kfc, Dixy on Shardlow Road is great.

The chicken in the burgers was hard and undercooked. They were so difficult to bite into and the chicken was stiff and pink. Really disappointing

Far better service than Uber eats. They take far too long and your food arrives stale and soggy. However with just eats it's turns up fresh and crispy 😋

Review time: Supreme burger meal was lovely 10/10 fresh and tasted good. Wings were lovely bit dry. The strips burger meal fresh and nice. 1/4 pounder meal was nice too fresh food. Really good place highly recommended. Honest review overall 8.7/10. What let the food down were the wings were dry.
