Dixy Chicken in Birmingham

After ordering from just eat, my food turned up an hour late and stone cold so I put the lot in the bin. Terrible service, terrible food and terrible delivery

Stay away from these clowns. Took 1hr 20 mins to receive our order, that's 40 minutes after the estimated delivery time. One item was wrong. Food was lukewarm. We only live 5 minutes away! Manager was apologetic and sent a delivery of the correct item(which by now is 2hrs late), silly driver had the gall to claim we ordered wrong when i have the online order form right in front of me. 1x panini, he gave us 2 instead of the burger. Stick with the Northfield branch. Better yet, use chicken.com

Missed the drink with the kids meal. As anyone with kids know this can cause ww3 in the house. Food was bland and luke warm. Delivery driver tried to step inside the house and then gave me a filthy look when it became apparent I want going to tip him. Won’t bother again.

the fries could have done with a little longer in the fryer but apart from that all good.

Missing items from meals again, even when a reminder had been sent with my order. Nothing replaced from the missing items as promised when I next ordered. What's the point ordering from here, when I never get what I've paid for!

I used to love ordering from here but lately the food will arrive and while some of the other stuff is hot the chips seem to be cold and soggy.

Food was 1hr late , chips was stone cold Chicken wings was cold , rang them up multiple times saying it was on it way but it wasn't , never ordering from here again

We ordered at approximately 5.20, to which the restaurant added an extra 25minutes to our order delivery time. We expected our food at approximately 6.40. We called the restaurant multiple times to which we were told that the driver was on his way and would be a maximum of 10 minutes. We called them again to which the same answer was given. Finally we received our food at 7.20pm approximatly 2 hours after placing our order. This was very disappointing service as we had somewhere to be and thus did not have enough time to eat. We will not be ordering from them again.

Didn't get our drinks, food was pretty cold and the chicken tasted like fish and was so dry. Dissapointing!

I never had such a bad experience with Dixy. its my fav chicken takeaway but todays experience wont bring me back so quickly. Ordered 2 panini meals and 4 mini chicken burgers (just so it can be 10£ in total for delivery) . first delivery was late which i dont have big problem with but thing i have problem with is.. food was cold and 3 burgers were not in the delivery! spoke to just eat and they gave me money back. i dont know what is happening dixy but i dont like it :( it will take me a while to order again :(

Took over 2 hours and called me saying they don’t have sweet corn so I ordered something else. It came very late and the food was freezing cold and things were missing from my order.

The food was good as per usual, but the delivery time was not of the usual standard. They added 25 minutes to the time and were still 15 minutes late. The food was fortunately still hot, but I don't expect to have the delivery time expanded only to still have the delivery be late to the point where I was wondering if it was going to turn up.

Never had an issue before, but ordered a boneless bucket last night. When food arrived the driver asked me to check order, I did and informed him half the order was missing... to which he replied It wasn't his problem as he was just a driver. Opened the box to find what looked like cold pieces of chicken scraps, not strips. No fries no box of bites and a box of what looked like scraps off the floor. Tried to call but now answer... I appreciate the order was late, but had over 45 mins to close and would rather them decline the order, than take my money and send me half an order of scraps and a rude driver.

There was barely any meat in the kebab and the fries was exceptionally cold which is impressive as I love super close to the place.

amazing commitment with the adverse weather. not all heroes wear capes. in this case it was about 5 layers of clothing.

They plastered mayonnaise all over my partners donner meat which wasn't asked for and wasnt mentioned in the order and it ruined his meal. All our chips seemed very cold and a bit undercooked. We've had better from there than this order

this is the first time I've ever wrote a review on justeat I love this place always on time if not early, delicious food One of the best dixys in Birmingham and they deliver.

Tasted just like KFC for much cheaper, although the chicken strips and wings are much spicier.

my burger and wrap were tasty no complaints there but my wings had a funny taste and one was black with bits in it it looked bruised and had a funny taste i had to throw them away

The food from Dixy Chicken is top notch, always tasty and delivered hot. The only issue I’ve had, and rarely is it a problem, but they tend to deliver food early. If you’re in the house this is perfect and worth an extra star if I could. But as i’d ordered it to be delivered once I’d finished work my order ended up cold by the time I got back. One quick phone call though and they delivered replacements 20 minutes later that was hot and delicious as usual. Cant recommend them enough

The food was actually not edible at all. I know Dixy chicken well so I wasn’t expecting Michelin star food but this was simply not okay. The chicken tasted of absolutely nothing and the texture was like rubber, it was as if it was old food that had been reheated. The chips were cold and so was the corn. The burger was burnt around the edges. The only thing that was okay was genuinely the bottle of Tango that came with my order. Really disappointed and feel as though I wasted my money.
