Dixi Chicken & Pizza in Wigan

Ordered, £20 We paid, for a ‘14” donner calzone’ and a ‘6pc chicken strip meal’. Chicken was pink and soft, fathers its been cooked for days and whacked under the heater. The donner was pale to start off with and literally had nothing on it. Would not order from here ever again, should’ve known by the rating on google.

Really pleased with what I received as I could tell they are all for the customers as they make sure that any requests you make big or small are completed really recommend

Waited 2 hours for my takeaway just to have it missing a whole meal. Called the restaurant- had the phone put down on me mid conversation the first time and then second time was just told - no driver is willing to go back out so no we won’t deliver your meal. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

Food arrived 50 mins late ( 1 h n 50 mins in total) and practically cold. Apple pie tasted like chicken and chocolate fudge cake was that microwaved it was just cake. Won't be going again

The food was the worst I’ve had in the last 3 years. Moist and distasteful. Spicy wings tasted indescribable. And the burger was super basic no taste or quality wouldn’t eat from here everybagain total spend of 12£

Ordered a couple times in the past, food and service use to be very good. Ordered tonight for something quick and simple got the Dixie’s special, food came and we found hairs on burger, rang the restaurant for them to say we would have to return the burger so they can check it when we said we had no transport to take it to them the women on phone said they won’t send another driver to us. Ended up chucking £25 worth of food away as it put us off eating the rest what was ordered due to finding hairs. Won’t be ordering from here ever again

Absolutely disgusting, this place used to be amazing for a quick takeaway treat. Ownership has clearly changed. I asked the woman If she could prepare me a fresh chicken burger as the ones in the warmer looked less moist than a digestive biscuit she rudely said 'they are all fresh we make them fresh they aren't even frozen or anything' yeah right! The chicken was dry and the coating had a look of what could only be described as an embalmed mummy! The staff member asked me how much the food was from the above menu! The kitchen stank of burnt ovens and fat. It really has changed the quality of the ingredients and the way it's cooked. Absolutely repulsive! Do not waste your money please!

Brought me the wrong chicken overcooked asked for cheesy chips and they put the bare minimum of cheese on without melting it

Just ordered from here and not only did they not give me the milkshake I ordered, the chicken was basically jelly, absolutely disgusting. They've even refused a refund. Will not be ordering from here again.

What amazing food!! I placed the order and they rang me within 30 seconds to ensure I didn't want sauce on the chicken burger when infact they put spicy mayo on so rang to ensure this wasn't taken off in error. Food came within 30 mins and was pipping hot. Defo recommend!!

The chicken bucket was poor. The coating little, the chicken mix was mostly thigh and legs, the breasts was cut in half and some bits had no chicken!? The fries was only good thing.

Disgusting!!! Ordered 3 kebabs, all cold no salad or sauce, over cooked, rang restaurant and service was disgusting, lady I spoke to was very rude and hung up the phone, kebab tasted disgusting, chicken was hard and slighty frozen, obviously not new batch of chicken. Avoid!!

Ordered from here and the food never turned up. They were happy to take my money but when I rang up to question them they didn’t answer the phone and when they did they just hung up. Rang up the day after got a refund and they said they had no record of the order even though I provided them with the order number I received by email. Never got my money back. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!!!

I called in there last night Sunday and ordered a small chicken Shawarma wrap I asked how much was told £7 paid on my card (I was a little bit drunk) I didn't check the amount until this morning and they charged me £8. I know its only a pound but if they do this to everyone who goes in there drunk then they are making a fortune, so check before you pay,

Placed our usual order that is usually £11.48 was charged £14.48 when queried this was told we was charged delivery prices yet the menu that came with the order showed the prices we usually pay and clearly says free delivery so why give out the menu's if they aren't honouring the prices advertised false advertisement at it's best. Never had a problem before. Also food was a let down and luke warm. Definitely gone down such a shame always been good in the past

Delivery was 45 minutes late! And when it come was only half what I ordered due to delivery driver not collecting the pizza and the chips was cold! Completely unimpressed and will not be returning 1:05 am finally arrived and there was hair on the pizza definitely would not recommend

Food was disgusting or what I got of it anyway, missing item from my order, called to report the issue and they did not want to know, very rude, gravy smelt like sewage water so that went in the bin also everything else was cold so that also went on the bin. This place needs shutting down. Be warned never order from here. Save your money trust me.

DONT COME HERE, if you want to be disappointed order from here. So it was 15:20 when we ordered online, 1 large fries, 1 medium, then I get the email receipt saying I ordered 1 large 2 medium fries and I was like wow strike 1. Then it gets to 15:50 and it still hasn't arrived, so I call up saying when is it getting here and I got brushed off by the guy saying 5 mins. So it gets to 16:19 and it arrives cold, soggy and missing 1 fries, what a joke, this is what I get for not going to Alisons chippy. DIXIES YOU OWE ME £2.49 AND MY PATIENCE!!

Good food, fair prices but staff should not assume they can keep the change and should definitely not be rude with nasty comments when customers ask for their change. This happend last time and has put me of Dixi for now.

Just ordered a take out for delivery that included garlic mushrooms they delivered them straight from the freezer they was frozen...don't touch this place robbing 🐕

I ordered pepperoni and chicken pizza and it contained a foreign object in the pizza. Which that foreign object was pieces of hair they lack complete hygiene and I was disgusted by seeing hair in the food.

Been waiting for a single margarita pizza and its been 1.45 hours still not come I've rang up said they struggling for drivers said will be 20 mins still not here after 25 mins. Not impressed. Pizza arrived. Pizza 6.99 been charged 10.50 got some chicken wings I didn't ask for which are cold and tasted like rubber. Pizza is deep pan instead of thin absolutely horrible aswell never again. This place should definitely have minus scores and a warning not to eat from there. The food was stale been sat under heat lamps probably since it opened this afternoon by offered the chicken to the dog even he turned his nose up, the burger had been cooked on a high heat way to fast tasted horrid….. Never would we eat from here again snd i dont think you should either

Ordered the food 2 hours ago, order still not arrived. When I ring I am told the order is with the driver, which if was true, I would of had my meal an hour and 20 minutes ago. Awful customer service.

Just Got 3 pieces fries and gravy with can Pepsi. The fries were old and dry, the gravy was lumpy and no flavour, the chicken coating was like eating leather and the chicken was bland and grey. It's in the bin a waste of money. Do not eat from here horrible

Wanted a chicken burger, got a great one. Friendly, helpful and polite staff. Pretty quick food that was wholesome and tasty. What more could you want? Free ice-cream?

1. Sort your menus out on just eat and uber. 2. Sort your delivery radius on your website out. You say you deliver on other platforms. Update it. Was really looking forward on ordering too. Sort it out

I ordered 2 12inch pizzas first time ever from dixi, but was such a waste, the pizzas was horrible, they were not cooked how they should be plus it had too much raw tomatoe sauce, you couldn't even taste the toppings well because of too much raw sauce and the doe was cooked from outside but raw from inside, it taste horrible, it gave me stomachache, couldn't even eat half of it, had to order from other takeaway....

Absolutely nightmare!!! I order food at 1pm and received food as 3 45pm . Chips horrible kebab worst then that . Avoid this place , I a shocked there is not control at place like this and they serving something what they call food :/ bleeee!!!

Normally quite good, but last delivery took over an hour to deliver. When received a pizza was missing took a further 15 mins to get the missing pizza. Food was barely warm due to length of time to deliver. Will now consider else where for take away.

Ordered food from here. Chicken slightly pink in centre, woke up during the night with a bad case of, there's no way to put it nicely, stomach cramps and diarrhea!! I'd be careful ordering from here, pay the extra go to KFC.

I walked in and whilst I was looking at the menu I noticed there was a fat young sweaty lad literally dripping everywhere, in the fryer, on the work tops, everywhere. Im glad I saw this before I ordered I turned on my heals and left I'm surprised they have a hygiene rating of 2. They should be shut down

Ordered a large kebab, Ben&Jerrys and cheesy chips and got 5 strands of meat, Chinese chicken(didn’t ask for) and another Ben&Jerrys.I normally don’t have a problem when ordering and on top of all that it came 45 minutes late so everything was cold

Twice in three weeks they have let me down today paid for a order which they decided to send elswhere dispite me foolishly paying for it three weeks placed a order which finaly turned up 2 and half hours latter

I'm sorry but I would definitely not recommend this take out place, it's shocking, plus a 2 star hygiene rating thats bad. I waited over 1hr and half for my pizza to turn up COLD and just to find out they had forgotten the chips, it's only 4.99 for 14inch tomato and cheese pizza on your menu and it cost me like 9 pound, wheres my 4 pound change then if you're gonna act like i never ordered the 2 large fries,i mean come on it can't be for delivery charge i only live 5 minutes away,I'm sorry but i know what I ordered, i will definitely not be ordering from you guys again.

Bought 2 large Chips and a garlic bread, but the chips tasted awful and the garlic bread was really dry. I couldn't eat it. I called to ask why it tasted bad and I was passed to another person who instantly just started having a pop at me. Apparently I should just not order chips from them again. Poor poor food and even worse customer service. I honestly don't know how you can get chips wrong, but they did!
