Today, the lentil soup at this restaurant was horrendous! It tasted like flavored water, completely lacking any substance. I strongly advise against trying it, as it was a disappointing experience.

They have minimum payment by card for £10 and this is no illigal,

Very pleasant experience. Before the main dish arrived the table received a very tasty taziki plate with very nice Turkish bread. The iskender was a very large and generous portion, and also delicious. The baba ganush was excellent. Doner was a huge plate with nice salad and rice portions, and lovely side mint yoghurt sauce. There was another sauce that can make a burning hole if it dripped on a plastic sheet by mistake. Excellent and friendly service. Decor is lovely. Bill arrived with 10% off (apparently because we came at lunchtime). Really recommended !

The grill over cooked and dry. No moisture. Lamb kebabs hard all you can taste is mixed herbs. Chicken kebabs salty and very dry. Service absolutely not professional. Not going there anymore. 2 out of 10

First time coming to this restaurant and I really enjoyed the meal. The chicken beyti was cooked perfectly and the price was reasonable. The chilli and garlic sauces were very tasty. They also served a free small plate of tzatziki which was delicious. Service was very good. Not intrusive in any way. A shame the place wasn’t too busy. Overall I highly recommend and will be returning.

We tried the chicken shish and adana kebab, both very flavoursome and juicy. Dishes were reasonably priced, got a decent portion with rice and salad for £14 pp. Also received complementary bread with dips while we waited for our food. The staff is so warm. The service was almost like we were being welcomed into someone’s home. Lovely dining experience overall.

Ordered on uber. Put in the order notes and the special request no rice as i don't like rice. Kebab came with three quarters of the container filled with rice and a tiny bit of meat on top. Complete waste of nearly 15 quid. What's the point t of having a special request section if they just ignore it. Won't order again

I had a portion of minced kebab yesterday. Kebab was nice and cooked well, juicy and tasty.Fresh bread . Small portion of rice, salads tomato was cheap and hard one. Staff were friendly .

Hi I was here today and it was one of the best lamb doner and lamb shish I ever had in uk really recommend to try mixed kebab dishes Kofta kebab was really good I like the thyme taste in it And Iranian lady was very friendly and lovely Ill come back Thank you

Tasteless lamb. Used to be amazing between 2008-2019. Since then, it has gone down hill.... Flavour wise.... But for higher prices.

Ordered the lamb Shish. Absolutely awful. The rice came in clumps and was so overcooked and swollen. Even the salad was limp and dead. No effort at all. Very disappointing and would not recommend.

Have been going to this restaurant for several and I always have the kebabs wrapped in flatbread. They are so friendly in there and never disappoint! No wonder they have won awards their food!

Had an Adana kebab takeaway last night. Fantastic kebab. One of the best I’ve eaten. Fresh and tasty with lovely salad. Place really clean and tidy. Pleasant and amenable staff.

Delightful , authentic turkish food in the heart of Finchley.We lived in NW London for 12 years until 12 years ago, and used to eat in this place regularly. We're visiting London for the first time since then, and obviously, we had a lunch there , and we all felt that the quality hasn't changed one bit during that period of time.Our favorites- the chicken doner and the chicken beyti with all the fresh vegetables ,are worth mentioning, to name just a few of the dishes on their menu.The service is very courteous and the prices are fare.Surely we'll be back!!

Lovely food but keeps getting my orders wrong every so often so I have to drive back to collect things

I love my doner here but I must say that the first time I ate there my kebab was delicious and very fresh. Literally one week later, you could feel the meat wasn't as good. The salad in the kebab was going bad, especially the lettuce. The lettuce was brown on the edges, and that indicates that it was few days old. Quite disspoined.

Absolutely delightful experience, delicious food, amazing service, and the entire atmosphere was lovely. Can't wait to go again, and will most certainly be recommending to everyone!!

Fantastic, I was passing by walking through Finchley, the smell got me in, the cleanliness kept me in and the service put a big smile on my face. Fast, smiling, honestly great. The food was delicious, I had lamb with the works and some garlic sauce. Wonderful I will not miss a chance to come back.

Not really tasty. I decided to go and explore the restaurant after seeing the article about one the best kabab restaurants in north and west London however I was utterly disappointed after I had food. The fries were undercooked, the falafel was so dried that I could not have it after one bite. Turkish bread was good. Chicken shish was tasteless. As per my opinion I will not recommend exploring more about it.

First of all card payment minimum £10 I bought a chicken doner for £10 didn’t taste at all was very dried. I suggest you not try this restaurant it doesn’t worth your money

Authentic juicy kebab Portion size was plenty Quality of the meat was really good often mixed can be a bit dry this was really good. Salad was crunchy and didn’t taste frozen like alot of places. Service very friendly Very efficient these guys were really busy at the time but I didn’t wait long at all. With drinks £23 very reasonable considering the quantity I would definitely return 😋🙏🏻❤️

Delicious tasting food, nicely cooked and very well presented. Nice atmosphere, friendly waiters and efficient service throughout, restaurant has a warm and beautiful seating area with lovely decor.

Went with my partner on a Saturday night. The site was vibrant and semi-busy at around 8:30-9pm. - Platter was reasonably priced - Generous portion - Clean site I would say the staff is helpful but at times, they don't seem very ''warm''. I gave three star as after the meal, both my partner and I felt a little unwell...

Just ordered the Adana kofte through Deliveroo and I’m so disappointed in the quality of this Turkish. Living in north London I’ve had loads of Turkish and this one was probably the worst. The kofte had quite a tough texture and lots of big cartilage bits (eeew!) enough to make anyone go vegetarian. I ended up throwing 1 of the 2 koftes away together with the bread and the salad. No flavour on the bread and no dressing on the salad.

I've had a few meals from Divan and they have all been excellent. Great portion sizes, so we'll priced and all delicious.

Paid £9.50 for a large chicken shish take away and got chicken cuts that 3 of the 8 pieces undercooked. And to top it off they gave me some salad and bread. Terrible value for money. I would have expected a large rice with the meal but to my surprise it wasn’t in the meal. Not going there again

Simply amazing. Great food and a brilliant team. Always remembers us and the food is excellent. I drive 40 mins just for this take away.

One of favourite places to eat in north London. Competition for Turkish cuisine is strong in this area but Divan manages to stand head & shoulders above the rest. Excellent freshly made kebabs along with lovely, friendly staff. Homemade unbelievable chilli sauce…what’s not to love? Standouts include the Adana, Chicken Shish and their Doner is so succulent unlike those dry kebabs you didn’t elsewhere in London. If you’re in Finchley (even if you’re not), get to Divan. You won’t regret it.

great customer service, the food was crackin and i would love to bring the fam here again. Love that little man at the front hes a right geezer.

If I could I would give zero star. I had a late lunch with my friend and with our two toddlers. The food arrived on time however when the chef passed our table he commented that we should tell to our boys to be more quiet. We did ask him that who complained about them and he replied ME! It was a shocking comment. He was extremely rude with such an aggressive manner. As I was used to work in hospitality industry for a good ten years I have never experienced anything like this before. I spoken to the manager who was ashamed however he did nothing to solve this. He did say sorry and that’s it. Our boys were hungry otherwise we would leave straight away. It was such a stressful experience and you should put a visible sign that you don’t want to have kids in your restaurant under four years old. I asked the manager what if my son is autistic? What do you want me to do? Cover his mouth? They behaved like any other three years old on this planet. They did not run around or throw food. They were loud indeed. That’s all. Also, when I spoken to the manager the chef opened the kitchen door and he was ready to attack us too. The whole thing was shocking and extremely unprofessional. As a manager he should have come and say something to us. I never had such a bad treatment ever. Do not get me wrong if they were not happy with toddlers and if the manager comes and say in polite way if we could do something I would definitely would….but instead the chef goes around and threaten customers?! That should not happen. We could not even finish the food and when we paid the female staff was sarcastic too. I would never go to this place again and as I am local I will share this experience on every single platform to warn other families too. No one but absolutely no one should go through such a bad experience ever.

I have come here on and off for over 30 years. It was the only place open late at night for a kebab and still offers great food and customer service locally. The ingredients are fresh and they take care of your every need. You like hot chillies, no problem. You like in a box, no problem. You like it packed separately, no problem. You like some fresh humous or Russian salad, no problem. The list goes on and the price is right unlike others who charge more for their decor he food is average. This place is a local gem.
