Ditton Grill in Tonbridge and Malling

Smallest portions I have ever seen not good for your money new owners not good at all go elsewhere do yourself a favour and save your money

Me and my parner ordered a kebab each we ended up waiting over 2hrs for delivery we rang twice they said its busy be with you in 10 mins 40mins later rang again same be with you in 10 mins 30 mins later ring again. Eventually it turns up cold n paper all greasey. Avoid with all costs they dont care and are rude

Simple order - mixed kebab and a burger. No pitta bread with the kebab. Salad dripping with water, no green chillis. Burger ordered without cheese and with burger sauce. Came with cheese & no burger sauce. Binned as person who was having it is allergic to dairy. hence no cheese option. Delivered an hour and 15 minutes after being ordered. Everything cold. Was offered replacement burger and pitta bread to be sent 'as soon as possible'. Errrmmm no thanks, it's already been nearly 2 hours since we ordered. Avoid.

Ordered over the phone for home delivery ordered at 7 pm was told it would be 45 mins phoned again at 8 pm was told it would be 15 mins it arrived at 8.45 pm the food was cold so I phoned them and was told it’s cold outside. Is this the way to treat customers, very disappointed

Ordered on the app. 30mins after the delivery time I was given I called. They told me it was on its way. 1hour after the delivery time…still no food so I called again. They then said they had missed the order and it hadn’t been cooked!!!! Lies and awful service!!! ‘Free bottle of drink’ was offered! Absolute joke! I have a family who have now not eaten. Then when the food arrived 1 hour and 40 minutes later the order was wrong!

Order food by phone ,told 45 minutes for delivery (fine ) 1 hour later still no food ! Call them up “ it’s on its way “ ,half hour later still no food ,call up again “ hasn’t left yet ,no drivers “ What a disgusting way to treat the customer and unfortunately this is a requiring thing with DITTON GRILL . Think they’d be wanting to keep custom during theses tough times not making them go elsewhere for better service 😡😡

Phone for order then get asked which menu you ordering from, wtf which menu i thought they only used 1 menu definitely not ordering from them again after 11yrs ordering from them goodbye local takeaway u will lose customers they’ll go elsewhere for cheaper prices, also found out that larkfield kebab shop brought into this shop no wonder prices so expensive

The people working in Ditton Grill are rude and argumentative. If you call up to tell them they have made an error, their philosophy is that the customer is always wrong and they argue for ages with you. They are rude, aggressive, loud, and will do anything they can not to admit fault or offer a refund. I wasn't surprised to see how low their tripadvisor score is... speaks volumes. People like this shouldn't be in business.

Looks as though been taken over commercially and massively put prices up. Was our favourite authentic takeaway absolutely gutted time to say goodbye

Wednesday 17th February 2021 Thought it was time to update the reviews on this take-away. As they seem dated and certainly low scores. Ditton Grill was a recommendation from Facebook Group Allington Chatter, as I had got fed up with the Maidstone town based kebab shops. Put an online order in @ 17:50, food delivered @ 18:35. I had left quite a few instructions on my order with regards to not wanting items like salad, pitta and my sauces separate. All was catered for and correct. Portion sizes excellent, well cooked and flavours good. On like for like costings, about £6 cheaper over all, than town kebab shops. Perhaps could have been a little hotter, but that was corrected with a minute in microwave.

Ordered tonight, pizza deal, chicken donner and a chicken shish wrap. Order got here unwrapped it as was looking forward to it. To find part of the pizza deal was missing - chicken wings, rung them to ask and the reply we got was "what do you expect us to do" Not really wanting to argue after being called a liar. I would rather just not use this establishment again. Its better to just avoid.

since the last owner left it’s really gone down hill. i always order a chicken kebab the last two times i’ve had one it’s been burnt and the chicken is very dry.

We ordered tonight 2 kebabs, one a combination, and one a doner (mine). ordered and paid online. When they arrived, my meat was stone cold and I had no chilli sauce as requested. I don't know about you but when I'm hungry and really looking forward to food I've chosen, I was gutted when it arrived not as expected. Instead of heading to here to write a bad review, I thought I'd call the place and let them know so that next time they can be more vigilant with orders...... but the man started arguing with me!! Said not one thing about the chilli sauce being missing but did argue that it couldn't have been cold. In the end I said I didn't call to argue, just to let you know I wasn't;t very happy with what I paid for...... he called me "Darlin".... Never ordering from there again, We usually get Alimet anyway, but we didn't want to go out but now I know it's worth the drive. Customer service void area alert***

Food really gone down hill , chips taste like they been re heated , oinion rings taste horrible, donor meat isnt what it's meant to be. Bern using ditton grill for last 4 years but last 2 occasions food been very poor. Might be worth new management now. Not using ever again

since the new owners ditton kebab have really gone down hill i have been using them for a number of years but the new owner is so rude i ordered 2 chicken kebabs with chilli sauce, and a portion of chips there was no chilli sauce on the kebabs, there was 2 pots of sauce poured over the chips making them uneatable, the chicken was over cooked and burnt on the edges, and very dry, could have cooked better myself, i called and said what had happened he said all he would replace was the chips, and said if i wasn't happy to go elsewhere, very rude, i would highly recommend you dont use this takeaway

Disappointing as we have been visiting the Ditton Grill for a good few years now. The order was not correct so had to be taken back and the order took ages so overall it was a very disappointment. The takeaway wasn't even busy so there was no excuse. Unfortunately we won't be going back as the food just wasn't as good as it has been in the past. Shame - some many good years of service but it has definitely not reached the mark this time around.

I placed an order nearly 2 hours ago and the food is yet to show up. I have been trying to call them for 45 minutes but the phone line is just going to the busy tone. I have emailed and written via website and no one has had the decency to reply to me despite them taking my money!!! Fuming!!!! Stay clear of this place. Disgraceful service Here’s hoping someone finds their inner decency and contacts me before this is esculated!

Waited nearly two hours for food After several calls it finally arrived Stone cold Chips Totally rubbish food

Having had a bad experience with food from Ditton Grill previously (undercooked chicken leading to illness all round) we decided to give them another chance, for some strange reason. After waiting TWO HOURS for our food, when it arrived it was stone cold. On calling Ditton Grill to complain, the owner refused to give my husband any kind of refund (he requested half of our money back - the grand sum of £13) and then proceeded to tell my husband to F*** Off. Needless to say we’ll be going back to Alim-Et - who really are a decent kebab house.
