The place was filthy the tables were dirty our cups were dirty. My wipes tea was cold not even boiled water .Staff totally disinterested .Got money back and left .Sadly this seems to be the way in a few coffee shops in belfast , we were in a nero cafe and it was disgustingly dirty the coffee machine was brown looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. They don't dust , the shelves at the window grimy windows filthy. They employ students sadly who couldn't care less.

One of my favourite spots to grab a coffee in Belfast; staff are always really friendly and chatty, nice atmosphere inside, good oat milk cappuccinos.

A return to this smart little cafe with a good vibe. Enjoyed my espresso but if you fancy a cow free cappuccino there are almond, coconut, soya and Oatly plant milks available which you can combine with the vegan menu options, including the tasty peanut butter chocolate balls.

I’m a regular at the Ormeau shop and it’s usually great. Went to Stranmillis today and the coffee was fine, however the waiter was incredibly rude and blunt with even the simplest of requests. Probably won’t be back. Disappointing.

2 Coffee and croissant this morning 9th August around 11 am Coffee good . Just on the down side in these days of covid when we are encouraged to eat outside because it’s healthier. We were seated at a table outside and the coffees and croissant were brought to us . I asked the waiter ( the only person there ) could the big fresh spot of birds dirt and other small spots be removed as we were about to eat food . He replied he would try but said there was no certainty it could be removed - but he would try . He did come back out and partially removed some of the offensive unhygienic dirt but you could still see it smeared along the top of the table and the other small spots were still there . My question is should the tables not be washed down every morning - they sit outside during the night, all night life is over them.Is it not vital that all the tables are pristine at all times especially at these times of covid . Isn’t there a regime which is standard for sanitising all the furniture. At the very least bird droppings should not be on the table. It’s disgusting off putting and unhygienic.

The food (especially the chicken flat bred that’s drizzled in an unreal pesto) and service here is just brilliant and such a pleasure to come in for either a meeting or just to read a book. Great atmosphere, would highly recommend!

Recently moved to the area and was recommended this place from a friend a while ago and decided to give it a go. Right from the start the atmosphere was really chilled. Noticed the Black Keys playing on the speakers too (big fan). Menu looked great, found it difficult to choose in all honesty. Went for Belgian waffles with raspberry compote and yoghurt. It came with nuts and seeds on top. It was unreal! Good portion but could have eaten the whole thing again it was that good. I’m not a coffee drinker so I had an orange blossom tea which was great, they had a good few tea flavours on offer though. And I took a brownie with me on my way out, trust me I’ll be back!! Great shop and great service, keep it up!

Never had a problem with the coffee. It's really good. But management is a lot to be desired and standards low. I've been to the district on ormeau road and today in stranmillis. Got two dirty cups on the ormeau road and today with a baby at stranmillis no toilet in service. Yes things happen but it's management's responsibility to have a functional toilet for its patrons. I know it's a Sunday but there is no excuse really for not having a notice at least on the front door to inform patrons before entering.

Called here yesterday with my son for a tea and a tray bake. At first I did not like the place as I was disappointed with their choice of tray bakes but they are probably suited to their regular clientele. I am more into the sickly sweet traybakes. However the place grew on me as we sat there. We had peace to chat. My son enjoyed his coffee and tray bake. As we left I realised I had actually really enjoyed my visit.

Spur of the moment lunch. Excellent friendly staff. Better than average choice from the menu. The food was full of flavours. Mango and chilli dressing superb. Orzo and cous cous well above average - you could taste the well balanced ingredients. Coffee well above average. Home made pastries great

The food and staff leave a lot to be desired. £6.50 for avacado on sourdough, when this arrived the avacado had seen better days as it was black. There was no apology for this and the waitresses proceeded to stand behind me and comment, "it was only the end of the avacado that was black"...Is that acceptable? You need to train your staff and employ someone who can cook as it is simply unethical to charge someone for that utter disgrace of food and service.
