Tasty dishes, dim sum with saffron absolutely delicious!

Luckily, for us, it is a new place for Chinese food, and I would suggest pretty authentic Chinese food. The best dim sum selection I've seen for years.

Easily one of the best Chinese in Glasgow. The food was fresh and very fairly priced for the quality and quality. The staff were friendly and very helpful at navigating the menu. Personally, I'd recommend the Kung Po pork. The pork was very tender and the sauce was incredible. We had multiple different dim sums and all were fantastic. I don't think you could go wrong here!

Found Dim Sum while heading to our hotel and looking for lunch. The food is excellent and well worth a visit. As it was lunchtime, we were fortunate to have the option of a few special offers.

Amazing, the service was outstanding. We came to Glasgow to watch a concert and found this gem. Staff advised choice and what a good shout, I’ve not had food and service like this for a long time. When we come back in 6 months time from Manchester, we’re heading straight back here. Loved it and the cost was very reasonable. Outstanding

I always eat here when I visit Glasgow. The food is delicious and the staff are always friendly. I particularly enjoy the beef and ginger boiled dumplings, as well as the sweet and sour king prawns Hong Kong style. There is a huge variety on the menu and I’ve never been disappointed in a dish to date. I hope to try more of the menu in future, including different dim sum and some of the soup noodle dishes, e.g. beef ho fun.

Authentic Chinese food with excellent service! Reasonably priced, great dining experience, free prawn crackers. Their house chilli oil was insanely good!! What we ordered was lovely and felt very authentic. We ordered: - Steamed dim sum for two - Sliced beef in hot chili oil

Best (Kung Pow) chicken I’ve had in my life

Myself and my partner came for our second visit to dim sum. It was just a good as our previous visit we had another lovely meal. The food was amazing and staff very polite and attentive we definitely will return.

This a lovely place for some delicious food and ambience. Very nice staff and the dim sum is amazing (so it the beef and broccoli). Definitely worth a visit if this is your thing, or to try something new.

Family Christmas lunch. Extensive menu with lots of great choice. Plates were warm, the food was fresh and well presented. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Today, we had the pleasure of dining at this Chinese restaurant, and the experience was excellent in every way. The food was amazing, made with fresh ingredients and served impeccably. The sauces were particularly delicious, and the noodles were spectacular—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs, even with two kids, which is not always a given. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the service was incredibly fast—our dishes arrived within minutes, flawlessly prepared. A truly positive experience that we highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy great Chinese cuisine with top-notch service. We will definitely be back!

Visited on a busy Saturday afternoon before a show and to be fair were seated quickly and our starters did arrive quickly. Sadly, I found the food was a very poor standard and bland, almost no taste of chilli in my salt and chilli squid and the amount of salt used was outrageous. My main was chicken kung po and not very spicy, the sauce seemed gloopy and gravy like. Rice was £3.80 extra and a can of coke zero almost the same.

I really wish I could rate this place higher. It was our Sunday treat, and I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant as I heard a lot about it. To cut it to the point- food was not very tasty, lacking flavour and presented in a poor way. The only dish worth taking a picture of was dim sum, which also was the tastiest of the bunch of dishes we ordered. The service was very eager to get rid of us the moment we stopped eating. There was no time for just sitting and enjoying the moment - you were to pay and leave. Overall, it's not the best experience, and honestly, with so many good Chinese restaurants in Glasgow, I would give this one a miss.

Re-Visited this restaurant which we've visited several times before...saw a big change..the menu had changed and the food was basically very average take away ..the menu was much better before...this time the food was very poor..barely any rice..noodles greasy ...sauce super sweet and sickly..just NOT GOOD nad £24 FOR TWO GLASSES OF HOUSE WINE !!! how on earth House Wine is that much I don't know WILL NOT BE COMING BACK

The last time I was here was at least six years ago. Anyway, brought my friend here today. We did enjoyed the dim sum and we found the beefs fried hofan a little bit too oily. Jasmine tea was good to wash down the greasy foods we had especially the beef hofan. The girl who served us was pleasantly friendly. Definitely coming back. The restaurant interiors is nice and the toilet is very cleaned. We were here yesterday for lunch 28th Jan 25. The staff were lovely and friendly but the food has gone down hill. The sliced beefs were tough and chewy. They had removed some of my favourite dim sum from the menu. Sad to say don't think we're coming back here again.

We went for a casual family lunch at Dimsum, we ordered number of dishes. The steamed dumpling are a must try and the honey chilli chicken wings. It was a good experience 👍

Excited to try Dim Sum after hearing good reviews, disappointed in our experience overall. The dimsum ordered did not taste good, or fresh, we ordered king prawn friend dumplings and it was 80% fried batter, Thai beef dumpling which tasted sour and off date. Won ton soup was pretty bland, food came quick but not in a good way, will not be back.

This is literally the most atrocious takeaway I have ever gotten in my life. Me and my friend spent over £50 on our order. We got the fried platter for 2, which was utterly disgusting. I was shocked. I have never had dim sum like it. The vegetable roll was completely inedible. The contents of it were brown and sludgy and the taste was unlike any vegetable I've tasted before. Definitely well past its use by date. The prawn dim sum smelled just awful. It smelled like vinegar/acetone which tells me it was definitely off. I'm not one to leave reviews at all, never mind harsh ones, but I would not be surprised if myself and my friend got food poisoning from this order. I had heard good reviews from friends who had visited the restaurant and so I had high hopes for ordering online. The only redeeming factor was the chow mein, and salt and chilli chips, which were somewhat lukewarm and not a hard dish to get right. I am thoroughly disappointed and suggest serious improvement, as this is a genuine food safety threat.

We visited dim sum yesterday,the food was less than average,the restaurant was freezing cold.we asked for the dim sum ,soup and starters to come out separately,however all the food came out at the same time.the meal was very rushed,in some ways it was a blessing,as mild hypothermia had set in.save your money and go elsewhere

Had lunch here. Haggis and scallop wontons were excellent to start, as was the prawn dim sum. The lemon and orange chicken for main courses was delicious and good quality. Asahi on draft. What more could you want?

Our new favourite Chinese in Glasgow, great selection, freshest dim sum and very nice spacious interior and comfortable chairs. Service was great although didn't appreciate constant check and taking away of empty dishes. Apart from that, can't wait to go back to try more main courses

Teatime on Mad Friday and it was an oasis of calm with good atmosphere and really friendly service.Food is good authentic Chinese all at pretty decent prices

As we had been a few times before I booked and visited tonight for a nice meal out for our anniversary. We arrived and were seated down stairs. The restaurant was lacking in its usual ambiance, the temperature of the room was cold and guests were having to sit with coats on. No explanation was offered by the staff , having already placed the order of wine, two starters and two mains we decided that we would persevere. The food was the best, very authentic and tasty however went cold very quickly. When I asked to settle the bill we were surprised to see a 12.5% service charge. We found this quite expensive considering it was the only 2 of us just having been served 2 courses. I asked for it to be removed as we decided to leave what we thought was a well deserved tip. This was not to the waitresses satisfaction and her mood changed. At that point I left a tip for the remainder of the staff and we left. I would not recommend visiting if it’s cold outside as it affects the inside when there is no heating on.

Delicious authentic tasting Chinese food. Great selection of bao buns, steamed & fried dim sum and everything else! Char Sui bao buns and crispy duck to start (shared) with individual main courses, all food excellent and portion size is good. Service polite and efficient. Only gripe service charge is added.

The dim sum are fantastic very nice staff. Food was most excellent. 10 out of 10, will be back for sure. Also had noodles and chicken this was very tasty also.

The reservation was an easy enough process. We went during lunch time and picked items off of the lunch menu. Service was fairly quick and most of the food was excellent. It was however very pricey, especially for a lunch menu compared to other places in the city centre, with a dim sum and main costing over £20. Combined with the service charge it put my bill to about £25. Other than that issue, the food and experience was very good. The mapo tofu with pork was delicious with plenty of flavour as was the fried rice. The portions for the main felt very reasonable.

Este restaurante estaba cerca de nuestro hotel y nos vimos tentados por los haggis dumplings. La comida era excelente, así como el servicio. Las porciones eran bastante grandes. Solo 4 de 5 como el camarero nos quitó nuestro plato de tostadas de gambas antes de que hubiéramos terminado!

Se estaba haciendo tarde y queríamos comer antes de volver a casa. Nos dirigíamos a un restaurante de tapas cuando vimos ese sitio raro en Glasgow - una plaza de aparcamiento! Así que lo tomamos y entramos en Dim Sum justo al otro lado de la carretera. Todavía una hora antes de que cerraran así que ordené - ¿qué más? Dim Sum. Las gambas fritas estaban deliciosas y también tenía algunos de esos bollos con setas y cosas dentro, ya sabes, los bollos blancos esponjosos que nunca he descubierto cómo se hacen (realmente debería buscar una receta para saciar mi curiosidad). De todos modos fue encantador y mi compañero de comedor anunció que el suyo también lo era, así que allí estábamos, felices y alimentados.

Very good food with options for every palate, okay tea and friendly staff.

The staff was very polite, they got our of their way to accomodate us as we were an unusually large reservation (14 people) . Despite that we had ordered a large number of various plates they all arrived pretty fast at the same time. The food was not the best but very nice overall, although I found it to be on the more expensive side compared to other chinese restaurants. Would visit again and try more plates 👍

Food was good, tasty and fresh quality. Bill came to £79 or in the rude staff case £89 due to a £10 service charge they decided to add themselves to the Bill without checking if it was okay to do so. The Lady said it was because it was the weekend and that staff would share the tip. I'm not paying an extra £10 because staff know how to do their job and wipe down half the table when one of our party goes to the loo thus getting sanitiser spray in our food! And picking up all our Cans to see if they're empty or not.

Been to Dim Sum a lot and tried a load of different options only once have I not enjoyed it and that, frankly, was my own fault for not reading the menu correctly. Especially good are the many different varieties of dumpling the fried Black pudding and steamed haggis being two of the best.

This restaurant had a good location which is located in City Centre. However, it is very expensive place to dine in here.

We ordered food for Takeaway and it tasted amazing and it was fresh and hot, the only issue I have is the orange chicken was not the orange chicken that I’m used to. I thought it would be chicken that had been fried and proper orange chicken with the different sauces. It was literally chicken with orange slices and orange sauce. It still tasted good, however, but I would just be careful on making sure what you order is what you expected. Chicken soup and chicken satay was amazing The rice was fluffy and cooked well

Fabulous restaurant. I have dined here on 2 occasions for lunch while shopping in Glasgow, and on both occasions, it has been perfect. Food is delicious, and the presentation is WOW. Staff are professional and very attentive. Worth every penny.

Quite expensive in terms of price and quality. Atmosphere was not nice either and the service seemed grumpy and not happy that we were here.

We had a really lovely Dim Sum experience in Glasgow. Loved the atmosphere we walked into and the quality of food we had. We started with the dim sum dumplings which were home made, just phenomenal. We also had some steamed broccoli with garlic. For the main dish we had chicken in chili oil, just superb. The cocktails and dessert we had were perfect too. 10/10 recommend eating here. Booked a table for 2.30pm on Sat 17th Aug. Second time eating here. Food is delicious. The restaurant is clean, bright and has a great atmosphere. The staff are attentive, friendly and welcoming. This is our go to place when visiting Glasgow.

Tourist review | Dinner for 2 Tasty halal Chinese! However I think some of the food such as the sweet and sour chicken balls and side dishes are over priced and you have to have a lot of money to be able to afford these dishes. The packaging of our sauce was not secure so it leaked out and so it was incredibly sticky and hard to get rid of. I recommend the chicken chow mein!

Amazing atmosphere, very informative when I was ordering my food as they told me it was dry and asked if I wanted sauce where as most places probably wouldn’t let you know of that. The food was incredible and will absolutely be back

Always fancied trying this place so popped in for an impromptu lunch with my wife and we were not disappointed . Great value for money for their lunch deal and we both had some amazing dim sum to start. I would recommend the prawn and chicken sui mai dim sum and the chicken and leek dim sum. Both were delicious and fresh. Done forget to add their home made chilli oil which also was great if your like me and like a bit of spice. For main I had the Szechuan chicken with peppercorns which was delicious and it was a decent sized portion. My wife had the chicken curry which she also really enjoyed. Service was quick and efficient. Will definately be back.

Very clean establishment. Friendly service and tasty food. We had 2 kinds of ribs as a starter fantastic. The dim sum we tried 3 different very flavorful. Rice was good we had the mixed.

Tasty food, a little on the expensive side, though there is a lunchtime offer. We were upstairs and found the place to lack atmosphere on the occasion we attended. Was there with my American aunt, who's used to American style customer service, so she found this place lacking. I enjoyed my food but I wouldn't rush back.

Got served raw chicken, was not cooked at all and when told the staff they didn’t seem surprised! She picked the plate up and said oh sorry then put it back down in front of me! I said can you take that away then please it’s raw! She took it away and said they’d take it off the bill - no over apologies or offer of any compensation or anything. Poorly handled or i likely wouldn’t of been writing such a bad review if it had been handled better. The rest of the meal was nice luckily we didn’t have anymore chicken other than the dumplings but the raw chicken and the reaction was enough for me to say I wouldn’t recommend.

Best place to have great Chinese Food in Glasgow. Trust me, I am vegan and I have tried almost 7 places before coming here. Place is just great. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Literally my mouth was watery 😋😋

We had a wonderful dinner there, which was virtually all dim sum. The taste was great, the staff were friendly & the venue itself was clean & bright. Fantastic!

Efficient and friendly staff. We went for dumplings and ate our weight. Reasonable prices and very very tasty, fresh food. Will make this a regular place for dumplings.

The restaurant has a really nice decor and the soundtrack of recognizable pop hits on solo piano was calming. We had seafood soup (broth was a little bland, or perhaps too subtle for me), steamed buns for two which was quite nice, chicken and broccoli, and a really nice beef brisket curry. The meat in the brisket curry had melt in your mouth tenderness and just the right amount of fat. Good experience overall and would definitely return given a opportunity.

Went on 6/11/24. We asked the first wait person for suggestions, he had none - a red flag. We then got a different wait person The Chef's Recommendation on the menu list included a Spicy Crab dish. The crab alone had no flavor and the breading was bland. When eaten with the spicy sauce/slide, it was average. The chow mein was dry and it tasted as if they just poured some curry powder on top and mixed it as it was gritty. It had spam mixed in. There were several shrimp with no flavor and maybe at best two pieces of beef. Food gets 2-2.5 stars, service 3. Would not go back again.

The hot and sour soup (veg) was out of this world! If you are visiting from the US and want to see what you are missing in terms of fresh ingredients come here. Everything we had slapped. The chicken and prawn leak dumplings are a must try!

This is a place where you will get tasty Chinese food, the staff is friendly and approachable and the atmosphere is just great - as a German I must say that I have never had such great Chinese kitchen in the UK. Definite „go-to“!

Favourite chinese restaurant in Glasgow! Visited Dim Sum for my birthday for two years and both times it’s been absolutely fantastic. It’s a little bit on the pricier side but absolutely worth it as the food is delicious with huge portions and the service is great. The staff even sung happy birthday 🎂

We are full time world travelers. We eat dim sum in any county we find it. The food gere ranks among the best we've ever had. The dumplings are hand made to order and the outstanding quality is obvious in every bite.

Tasty food and excellent service. The restaurant was busy when we 2 but we were seated and served right away. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The food was fresh and well prepared.
