Dilkhush in Birmingham

I spent nearly £25 for it to arrive and none of it was mine. I rang them to let them know and they told me it's my fault cause by I didn't order the correct food!!! I asked them to take my order number and they refused. My brother is vegan and they sent me chicken. Order at own risk!!!!!

Really tasty food, really cheap prices too. The meal deal is great. I would definitely recommend the chicken ticka. Its one of the best I've had. Also the chicken balti is really tasty too.

Food is always amazing from here whether you or on just eat or direct. We normally have the set meal deal and this is more than enough for 2 people. Highly recommended never use anywhere else

Dilkhush is a Stirchley staple and so it should be. The food is a always consistent /flavoursome and they offer some of the best meals deals on the pershore road for a curry house. I have visited all the curry houses on the high street and can say these guys by far have the best food especially their keema nan and this is coming from a south Asian person . I have noticed that a lot of restaurants water down their dishes and the consistency of the dish is not always executed . When i order a take out it is always ready in 15-20 mins for me to collect . Highly recommend

We used to use the Dilkush 43 years ago just recently have used them again as I am fed up with food arriving cold and not good the food is amazing always hot and always order is right when they take your order they are always nice and you feel they value you as a customer and are cheaper than most and do meal deals

Used to eat from here never again.. terrible phone service have to repeat everything and they still send wrong food. Wanted the food back after 1 hour+ of it being on my kitchen side on plates. Offered to send my starter next time what good is 2 next time and none this time? (I only order the set meal). Wouldnt eat from here they are probably reheating peoples refunded food. Refund was given though.

Have used the Dilkush for many years. Well recommended. Can't score for atmosphere as it is a takeaway.

Taste wise Mahkani chicken and keema rice tasted great. But the rice was swimming in oil, this puts me off wanting to order again. Ordered 2nd August 1800-1900hrs.

First time ordering from here as they were recommended by one of my family. Have to say one of the best Currys I have had in a long time. fantastic service, quick and the food was beautiful, we thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

Avoid! Terrible experience this evening went into dil kush ordered there 9.50 deal starter main and rice on top I ordered saag paneer chips and an extra popadum totalling 15.40 when I got home I noticed the saag paneer was missing, thinking it was a simple error I called up to be told they don’t do saag paneer! When I questioned the extra charge I was told I was given a saag paneer! I definitely wasn’t given the saag paneer and this place just fobbed it off bla tent theft! Avoid avoid avoid also the food I did receive wasn’t that good soft popadums and old veg

What a little gem of a place, in the heart of Stirchley. The food is very good , the staff are so polite and the delivery service is pretty quick. The prices are brilliant it arrives hot and when you open the containers you can smell the freshness of the spices. we have used the Dilkush many times be it on Just eat, or a call to the shop. 10/10

Used for years, however tonight not a great experience. 3 hrs an order so rang forcam update. Welcomed with a load of shouting down phone even though I was polite fr6the beginning. Was not interested in even taking the just eat ref number or listening. Got a guy just shouting at me for no reason at all. I'm polite, understand a delay on calendar occasions. However don't need shouting at me when I'm polite. Never order again.

Been customers a very long time always a good curry however tonight we ordered food it was the worst curry I've ever been given rice was under cooked chicken was full of fat and gristle not nice at all a waste of £25. Also got our order wrong the english is very limited while ordering had to say 4 times what I wanted and they still got it wrong Don't know whats happened to dilkush but not what it used to be will be finding another curry house from now on. Shame really Tonight curry wasn't even worth 1 star

My favourite takeaway! Perfect mix of flavour and heat. Vindaloo is a must with the option of extra hot.

Can't fault this place, I just had the meal deal and had mixed kebab starter, medium hot chicken curry, popadom with the trimmings and rice, the garlic naan was awesome.... friendly staff and fast service .... I'd recommend this place to anyone

What a surprise..first time we have used this.. Great food..onion bhaji ..chicken chilli pakora..hot naga chicken and two different pathias..all were fantastic. Quick delivery time as well..

To be honest I found the meal (Paneer Tikka Jalfrezi)very bland.

Quick delivery , clean and very fairly priced however my madras and hubbys balti looked almost identical and was full of huge chunks of onions and tomatoes etc... We didn't like it.. We picked the bits of chicken out so it was a waste to be honest I like juice in my curry.. This was just a pot of veges gutted as we'd ordered the deal which looked fantastic

Meals are amazing. Would recommend to anyone.

They do a three course for £8 if you pick it up yourself ...........bargain 😉

Food well made but, they keep forgetting bits of order

I'm really disappointed to be honest we've used dilkhush for years and tonight we've had a really as experience. Ordered food was told 1 hour delivery, 1 hour and 20 minutes later it arrived order was wrong! Called to explain didnt really want to bring us the correct order but I couldn't eat what they gave us. He said give me 15 minutes I'll send correct order now at 20 minutes later stil waiting I won't be ordering from them ever again, attitude was awful! And it wasn't even my error!

Quick service, nice food at reasonable price

Great portions and reasonably priced. Was not sure if they sell mango chutney sauce as it wasn't on their online menu but asked when placing my order on the phone and they do have mango chutney. They should really add this on their menu. But the food was lovely couldn't fault it and it came with free popadom and salad which is generous. I had Chicken Rogan Josh with mushroom fried rice, Peshawari Naan, onion bhaji with Mango Chutney and everything was delicious.

Guy who does the phone orders on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday is a cool dude with a cool car.

The food arrived 45 minutes after the hour wait I had already endured. Poppadom was smashed to smithereens. Apart from that the food was lovely​ as usual.

Did not really enjoy it. The food was tasteless apart grom the aloo channa Rice was ok. Certainly won't be ordering again. Bland.

Very nice except the food could be slightly spicier dependent on dish type. E.G, all bhuna, madras, and baltis taste similar.

Had a keema naan and there was little meat and the naan tasted like doe. I also had lamb tikka and the lamb was very little and very chewy.

Excellent food. Good value and not stodgy like other curry takeaways. Will be ordering again.

Overall a good place to order from, the delivery was 10 minutes late but it was a rather large order so can't really complain, starters did lack however, five pieces of chicken can not be considered a starter when it costs three pounds, thas all mi a say when it come to that

Naans were a little on the cardboard side. The Madras lacked a punch and was a bit bland if I'm honest. There was nothing wrong with is as such, just not to my taste.

It arrived 25 minutes late and the bag was full of the food because it has spilled out of the containers so we had half our food and it was stone cold

I've tried so many different takeaways around the area and I've finally found the one that I'm going to stick with. The meal deal makes it a bargain, no delivery fee, food was delicious, and it was delivered much quicker than the estimated delivery time. I literally don't think you could ask for any more than that!

Had a few meals from here ,non would set you alight. but this was the worst thing I've ever had. No taste no spice, I would have been better off eating the bag it came in. If these people want to make a living in another country, they should learn not to treat the indigenous people like fools. There will be no further orders from us.
