D&F Kitchen in East Riding of Yorkshire

Used D&F before and never had a meal as bad as tonight I fancied some salt& pepper spare ribs normally other Chinese takeaways coat the ribs with seasoned flour with the salt & pepper coating, these were just capital dry ribs with onions and salt in the bottom of the box 👎 then same with the salt and pepper chicken and salt and pepper chips both just had onions and salt in the bottom of the box Salt & pepper prawns same again nothing on the prawns just salty onions in the bottom of the box , spring rolls were ok but everything else was VERY disappointing 👎 especially the hard chips and dry ribs, taking this place of Foodhub list wasn’t worth over £27 ☹️

Oh dear. We normally order from KS and got mixed up. The duck for the pancakes was very fatty. The beef in the main course not very good quality.

The food is always fantastic. It is cooked quickly so you don't have to wait long and reasonably priced.

Tasty food , arrived a few minutes early . Really enjoyed my meal I had combo box salt n pepper chicken and chips and a beef chow maine 😋🔥

Quick delivery and always good food

Walked in off the street, Ordered a straight chicken chowmien as the menu was severley lacking variety and choice. Food was cooked quickly which was good, however it was a very run of the mill chowmein served in a noodle box, very dry and bland on flavour and well over priced at over £7...won't go back I'm afraid.

Really good most of the time but does have it's bad days when we order. Majority of the time the food is amazing and the delivery is reasonable

Nice fresh ingredients but chicken in batter was just very hard and difficult to chew. Sweet and Sour was also rather acidic.

Only reason for a 1 star is the fact I had to wait for collect over an hour was told it was 20 min wait went to shop in 20 mins stood there for a further 40 mins with hardly an apology clearly lost ticket

Service can be grumpy, buy food is reliable and some dishes are particularly good.

We ordered a meal from this Chinese last night, it took age's to be delivered . After we had eaten, my son was ill straight after eating the special crispy honey sauce causing sickness and diarrhea.

Absolutely love D&F kitchen, the food is always fresh and hot. Delivery can sometimes take a while (always pre advertised) but this is because they are so popular. My favourite takeaway in Beverley

Rice not fresh all really dry and hard - and seafood crab claws and prawns tasted really processed we couldn’t eat them. Duck in ok sauce was so dry and full of fat we couldn’t eat it. Not up-to it’s usual standards.

**Don't order** I ordered ribs, egg fried rice, chips and curry sauce. The ribs were inedible the pork was so hard and chewy. The rice was boiled and not egg fried rice, the chips were sooo soggy but they put the curry sauce on them. I thought it would be separate, I'm new to the area and I got a recommendation to use this takeaway. I will not be using this service again.

Just moved to the area and this is the first takeaway we have ordered. Driver was lovely and friendly, delivered exactly time, portions generous and most importantly tasted wonderful. Based upon todays experience will certainly use D&F next time we want a Chinese.

I have used D&F for a while now and normally have nothing bad to say. However, I ordered a mixed hot starter tonight with my meal and have to say it was very substandard. Unlike all other Chinese mixed hot starters, they do not provide crispy seaweed or satay chicken skewers. The ribs where very tough and the rest quite tasteless. I would recommend saving the money and buy another starter.

Must be under new owners as quality is disgusting now. Food came flooded in curry sauce despite this always being provided separately. Curry sauce was the consistency of urine, do not recommend which is a shame as we have ordered from here a lot previously. Avoid.

Went for a takeaway there almost a year ago and since then once every week or two. Don't even live in Beverley.

Yummy food. I actually really love everything I’ve bought from this Chinese takeaway. It’s all tasty. It arrived within the allotted time. It was very hot which is how it should be. They also sent added prawn crackers which I’ve quite enjoyed tonight. The only thing i had an issue with was the foodhub app. It was confusing and didn’t tell me when food was on it’s way etc. I won’t use that app again however i will order another chinese when i can afford it!!

worst Chinese we have had on a long time, soggy spring rolls,curry was awful and so was the meat,very disappointed

Always great service on every visit. Waiting time was slightly long than normal, but the girl on the order counter said they had been really busy with delivery orders that day; but did keep apologising every so often, so great customer service. With regards to current Social Distancing guidelines, set up is pretty simple; 1 person ordering, 2 in waiting area, 3 if 3rd is standing , and ask you to wait outside if more than this turn up and step back if a delivery driver comes in for an order to take out, so well managed. Food is faultless (work in a professional kitchen, so better placed than average home cook); Everything seasoned perfectly. Had Crispy Cantonese Duck last time round with rice & chips. Just wish it was a slightly bigger portion of Duck! ; but only because I saved some of it to make into a crispy duck wrap for dinner the next evening! 😋😋😋

Always a great experience, clean and tidy. Service is fairly quick and they also deliver. We love the house special fried rice, if you like things a little spicy try the salt and pepper ribs. Top tip ask for extra chilli with the ribs wow.

HIGHLY recommended. Very generous portions. Great choice of delicious food. Chicken satay and beef curry is amazing!! Waited over an hour for delivery. (During covid-19 lockdown) They have been extremely busy.. Didn't bother us. And fully understood. Piping hot when arrived and tasted great.. Will be ordering again soon..

Thought we'd give it a try as our favourite Chinese has closed due to the virus, we rang with our order and paid via the app which was sent to my phone, we ordered special chow mein and chicken chow mein, lack of meat in both dishes and very greasy, will not be going back.

My local chinese and a it's a good one! Love the Singapore soft noodles from here and their mixed starter is delicious too! Can be busy on weekends but they rarely keep me waiting more than 20 mins even on a Saturday night.

disappointing - ordered chicken in hot chilli sauce but it was just sweet chilli sauce, not hot at all, so tasted like a sweet and sour dish - also very bland - won't return

Ordered and paid for an order for delivery an hour before closing. Waited 2 hours for the delivery and it was never delivered yet they had taken the money out of my account. Will never be ordering from D&F again, absolute joke of a business.

Not tasty at all, chicken had slight fishy taste, ribs were tough as old boots definitely won't be going back, best bit was the onions

'Describe My Experience'? Arrived at 11.15pm (15 minutes before advertised closing time) and my order and hard earned money couldn't have been made to feel more unwelcome. Two of the things (of four) I ordered I was told were unavailable and the two people with me felt awkward as I was ordering for them too. As soon as we walked out the door the lights were switched off. Food was fine but I will never return.
