Dessert Lounge Norwich in Norwich

This was an interesting experience. I had a crunchie sundae. It had bits of crunchie chocolate, which I haven't had for years, along with 2 scoops of toffee ice cream, and I think some white ice cream and some toffee or caramel sauce. It was lush.

They should be absolutely ashamed of the service they provide if you want food provided to you within a timely manner don't bother you'll be waiting all night I was told the was a small wait well if I'd have known that meant an hour I'd have walked away there and then but then whilst waiting I wad given the wrong order twice getting increasingly annoyed each time NOT EVEN WORTH THE WAIT

Absolutely outstanding banana milkshake and very friendly staff.

Delivery never turned up and the store doesn’t even answer their phone what’s a joke of a place

Just had 2 shakes and it was like drinking water not thick no taste and not a full cup been so much better before

One of the best burgers in town. Chicken supreme burger and oreo sundae is a must try. It is interesting to collect stamps and get to premium shakes / burger free. Staff are very friendly and cooperative.

My Experience at dessert lounge was so good, all the staffs were so friendly and welcoming especially Nelma , she always comes by with best suggestions for the burger and sundae, the food is so so tasty with lots of flavours, I am happy that I found this shop. A regular customer now.

Excellent experience! Restaurant very communicative with JustEat customers! There was an issue my end and there end with my order which lead to my order being cancelled and not having a refund on my end and their driver broke down in the process. But they still managed to deliver my order within minutes!! Churros, chocolate cake, waffles and milkshakes were beautiful!! If I visit Norwich again I will definitely have deserts from here again.

We ordered 2 desserts and both was wrong I didn't get my extra toppings on mine and the other we ordered pancakes and got waffles instead

Ordered for delivery and both mine and my partners Waffles were incorrect mine actually had something I was allergic too on. I contacted the shop and they told me they would send out a correct one for me, 2 hours later it still hasn't shown up, seems like they had no intention of sending out a new one. Deliveroo refused to refund.

I love cookies and cream and they have alot of items but not alot of people. They even have milkshakes, slushies, cookie dough, sundaes and more! They even have toilets very underrated

The lady making my food was wearing one glove whilst holding her phone watching something and then putting her phone down on the side next too the food and prociding too use both hands too cut pieces of brownie was not very happy

Dessert Perfection! This dessert shop is a hidden gem! The cleanliness and hygiene standards are top-notch, with all staff wearing protective gear. The waffles and crepes are absolutely divine, paired with a fantastic variety of gelato flavors. The staff is polite, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. A must-visit for dessert lovers! My other half is pregnant and she’s found her new local spot I must say, not sure if that’s healthy on my pockets, she is on a vegan diet & is lactose intolerance, they don’t have the vegan waffle mixes ready at hand but told me to wait 5 mins extra and swiftly made us a new batch instead of declining us, hats of to customer service. Will be back soon! Thank you!

Last day i tried dutch pancakes from there. It was too good. If you crave for pancakes give a try.

Pre-Christmas treat.The place was empty and server was friendly and helpful. The chicken burger and burger were quite spicy but enjoyed. Cookie dough was very rich as expected but nice. Good selection of ice-cream.

Got the smash burger which had no taste to it and had tomatoes and cabbage in it which kinda ruined it, had burgers from here before and was nice but lately its gone down hill. The bag of chips had old burnt chips in the bottom too

Got the smash burger and NYC burger and everytime I come here the food is always ok point. Milkshakes are banging too!!

We've had desserts from the Lounge before but tonight we had burger and fries. Totally beats the big chain burger sellers. Delicious. Very friendly lady served us too.

Just had some gelato , i had 3 scoops , candy floss, chunky chocolate and blue bubble gum . Firstly and finally a gelato shop that prices and advertises scoops and you get scoops , and not a spatular guess of a measurement !, I feel presentation could of been better and more diserable if in an proper ice cream tub container and not plastic pint size container!, The blue bubble gum was rich cream and tasty, took me back to the 80s and the taste at the end of a screwball , the chunky chocolate was smooth, creamy and soft and pleasant , with a great crunch , however , the candy floss flavour, was for me not a great taste and gave a strange texture feel in your mouth , but overall very happy , you not gonna get every flavour bang on , but was very enjoyable , I would most certainly visit again

I wasn’t expecting that good of a smash burger from a dessert shop but after my sister recommended it, I was shocked!! Great food and sweets

Good food, not so good to dining in. As they serve it as takeaway in the bag. So that was not our favourite part. Also the tables were very dirty need a littleattentiontothat,becauseits a good place. Staff were nice and food as well.

There was a sign for asking for an honest review, so here it is and I hope that the review I'm giving will result in improvement. We came to eat in at the Dessert Loung late in the evening. We ordered a Strawberry sundae, Pistachio sundae, two scoop and a 1 scoop. Unfortunately there were no waffle or wafer cones left which was disappointing considering they are an Ice cream shop. The sundaes were served in take away pots for the eat in which was also not that appealing. After we ordered and was waiting to be served we were told that there is no stawberry ice cream left for the Strawberry sundae which then had to be exchanged as we had already paid. The Pistachio sundae was supposed to have Pistachio nuts in it but none were available so ended up with hazel nuts. The remaining pots were not served until I had to ask for them. All in all the service was poor. For a relatively new place the inside of the seating area is looking run down and not looked after. I dont think I will visit this place again. The ice cream was ok tasting but the £19.80 we paid didn't feel worth what we were served.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The smashed cheeseburgers were the best I’ve had and the milkshakes were also incredible. Will definitely be coming back again.

I.had ordered ice cream through Deliveroo and it took 90 mins for them to deliver the ice-cream and that too after I complained to Deliveroo. Very poor delivery service.

I’ve been living in the city for 25 years and I’ve never tasted such quality taste with desserts & their burgers, fabulous touch to Norwich! This place is under-rated, stop checking reviews and head there now. Amazing gelato all natural taste unlike sundaes gelato in the city which tastes very artificial. This is the best all in one dessert house. Better than Sundaes Gelato, Delightful Desserts by miles & very very clean premises, polite and helpful staff. The smoked wings are something else!!

Food nice, but massive issue with delivery. Turned up over 40 mins late so I had a luke warm burger and cold chips (fortunately after 30 mins I decided to warm the over up), and a cold waffle with cream (rather than ice cream). Funny as well - the driver handed it to me and sprinted back to his car, presumably to disappoint the next customer! Would be helpful if you could contact the driver. Massive let down. Update (July 2023) - thought I'd give them another chance, and its happened again!!! Reported them to deliveroo albeit doubt it means much, what a useless organisation.

Was a 5* but the lady serving today got our order wrong and we didn't realise until we had left. (We drive 25minutes for this food)

Not even worth a whole star. Service is always slow & staff seems unprofessional. I recently placed an order (after telling myself that I never wanted to order from there again). We waited over an hour to give them a call for an update to find out that the order wasn’t even placed. The best they could offer me was an argument to listen in on in the background between the staff showing no remorse. There just seems to be a problem every time I order from here. Stick to the supermarket as you know you will get your food.

Excellent customer service along with better burgers hand on heart then the likes of GBK or Five Guys. The Royalty Is Just something else! The Red Velvet (Red Carpet) Milkshake really gets any sweet toothers dreaming. Norwich needed something like this, hope you guys stick around. This place needs more recognition, NR3 on the stand up! Keep it up guys! Hopefully I will get through all 24 flavours of Gelato, definitely rather! Tables were not very clean. Gelato looked like it was melting. Take out whether you want to or not, no option given. Crepes were pancakes, there is a difference. Banana's were brown in the middle and tasted days old, strawberries the same. Way too much sauce put on. First time trying and won't be back, Sundaes Gelato in the city is so much better.

Ordered cookie dough and a milkshake to be delivered (only a 3 minute drive) took over an hour to be delivered and no complimentary soft serve as stated

Came here late on Saturday night unintentionally with my friend as we were walking home but from looking in we both knew we had to see what’s inside. Not only was the food 10/10, the owner was extremely lovely, I never got her name but she looked after us allowing us to take our time as well as offering tasters on the house as we were unsure what to order. Now my number 1 recommendation to everyone & my go to. Thank you.
