Desmondo’s in Waveney

Absolute gem of a restaurant. It's quite small (I counted seating for 26) so I would recommend booking. The owner and staff have created a warm, very friendly atmosphere and we were made to feel very welcome. The menu caters extremely well for the majority of diets and everything is freshly cooked. The owner is very helpful and is happy for you to pre-order your choice of meals in advance. This means you don't run the risk of something not being available , which is always a possibility when it's fresh ingredients and cooked to order. We had pizza, tiger prawns and jerk pork burger, all of which were fabulous and the tiramisu dessert is amazing. The level of service was perfect, not rushed, attentive, extremely polite and friendly. Thank you for a lovely evening, Desmond's has just become our first choice restaurant in Lowestoft.

Just had a lovely dinner here the goat curry was amazing the ambience was wonderful lovely music playing and the tables are all set up with the finest cutlery food is very reasonable priced! Can't wait until our next visit.

Had a private dinner party here tonight and food was delicious and served efficiently by Bethan and owner Desmondo, who did a fabulous job of serving food hot and on time. Drinks and food very reasonably priced and tables looked gorgeous too. Poetry by Desmondo added to the evening event too.

This is a real hidden jem wonderful home cooked Italian bistro which is a cafe during the week and opens Saturday evening as a bistro. Desmond makes all guests extremely welcome. The tables are laid with crisp white table cloths and silver cutlery . Food can be adapted to suit your need and price is extremely reasonable. Would highly recommend 👌
