Fantastic building very clean and really nice atmosphere with brilliant staff and a great menu. Food was fantastic and plenty of it.

Stopped here our way to hotel in Lowestoft. Arrived at 5.20pm, took 15 mins to order our food as only 2 waitesses & 1 chef working. didn't receive our food until 6.30pm. Food was decent tbf. But clearly under staffed.

Took my beautiful wife Julie out for a birthday lunch in Prezos,Beccles today. It was absolutely outstanding! The food was totally amazing best piza I’ve had for a long long time the Posh Pepperoni was so full of flavour particularly the authentic Italian ham Also my wife’s Oak smoked salmon pasta was perfect 10/10 the young man who served us, Joseph was so professional and yet friendly he was under a lot of pressure being on his own on the floor but Handled it perfectly still finding time for some lovely banter with all his guests young and old ! Perfect meal will be back

We ate here last week, the regular menu was ok as was the food , nothing special, however the gluten free starter and main were unbelievably bad ! The starter a gluten free flat sharing flat bread with caramelised onion & mozzarella £7.50 was smaller than the side plate it was served on ! Then the gluten free pizza had minimal tomato base added with a tiny sprinkle of mozzarella & 4 pieces of chicken ! & was not cooked through , completely inedible! We will not be back !

Went last night with my friend. The staff were really nice and the food was pretty good I was a bit surprised at how small the ‘large’ vegan pizza was but otherwise it was great. The building is lovely but was a bit cold last night but it’s an old cinema and an old building so understandable.

This was very average, sadly. Prezzo is usually pretty consistent but whilst this building is spectacular, the food wasn’t. The children’s hummus and veg dips was quite literally 4 slices of cucumber and a few random slices of mismatches pepper. The children’s garlic bread was undercooked too. The pizzas were all very anaemic looking and seemed very undercooked, not very hot. The bases for example were still quite “doughy”. Meal was £24 a head basically and I think for that I’d expect better, especially a chain. I won’t be in a hurry to go back. Building was freezing too, the girls all kept their coats on.

A relaxed atmosphere and good vibe (despite being very busy) created by Jake and his co-manager both of whom are friendly, funny and attentive. Diners are asked if they have any food intolerances as they are shown to a table. Tasty, well-presented food from varied menu, with staff checking in regularly in an unobtrusive fashion to see if you have everything you want. Excellent coffee (make or break for me) to round off an enjoyable couple of hours on a Sunday evening. New management a plus for both Beccles and Prezzo. Good luck to the team.

I thought hard whether to bother posting this review but I do think it would be helpful for Prezzo to know how they could improve. One of our party ordered the crab and lobster ravioli which is really hyped up in the menu. He is pretty tolerant of mediocre food but he described this as "absolutely horrible". Not just utterly tasteless apparently but tough to chew. We had the garlic bread and cheese with caramelised onions, and it was absolutely black underneath and the taste of burn permeated the whole thing. Also, I noticed that as a side, garlic bread and cheese is £5.50, but with the caramelised onion it is an extra £2. The caramelised onion consisted of less than a teaspoon of chutney, which is very poor value. One in our party had the peperoni pizza and again, that was black underneath.

I can’t recommend this place more. I frequent it often and am always treated really well with my dietary requirements. The manager jo goes above and beyond and new manager Jackie too as well as Laura always greet me with a smile and a joke. The food is always quick and so so tasty. Only down point is prices like everywhere at the moment but they do great offers for lunch and set menus. I love it so much I’m going tomoz for the third time this week! Keep up the hard work guys! Called in for lunch on Saturday and had a very nice lunch, wife had a pizza (with enough left to box up) and I had a truffle burger, both of which were delicious. Came for a 9 person family meal and had the most amazing food and customer service! We had Claire as our waitress and her helpfulness and kind demeanour made our experience even more special. Went today as it was the last day of the War Out to Help Out scheme. The restaurant is nice and I was happy with how spaced out the tables were, and the lady serving us was nice. That is where the good things ended.The food came out about 5 mins after we ordered, so no way it could be freshly cooked. I suspect everything has been microwaved. I had the grilled chicken burger which was nice but the fries it came with were undercooked, and I don't think it is worth the £12.50 price. My husband had the vegan spaghetti which was average. I ordered my son the vegetable sticks and houmous to start, which had clearly been sitting out because the cucumber was bone dry and the houmous had a skin on it (and looked like porridge). He then had tomato pasta for main which was basically pasta in passata and no herbs or finesse to it. Again, average and he ate it, but nothing special. With our desserts, the tiramisu was warm in the middle but cold on the outside, not sure if it had been sitting out or they had tried to reheat it, which doesn't make sense unless they microwaved it from frozen. The honeycomb cheesecake was OK.All in all, considering the food is definitely not freshly made, I think charging around £50 (without the offer) for essentially microwave dinners is outrageous. We won't be going back.

We visited on a Wednesday night during the Eat Out to Help Out scheme just before 5pm. The restaurant quickly filled up to the point where we considered it was too full and the distance between tables was borderline to being safe, also the staff were not wearing face shields or masks which would have made us feel much more comfortable as they visit multiple tables and distancing is hard when placing meals on tables etc. As regulars to Prezzo as other sites too, the staff seemed to be inexperieced and were not coping well with the volume of business, neither were the kitchen. The childrens spaghetti carbonara arrived with no sauce and it took a while to get sauce brought to the table for them. The gluten free garlic bread with balsamic & onion is the same price on the menu as the non gluten free option but is the size of a saucer (not this specific sites fault but a group issue) so is grossly overpriced. The gluten free pizza was over cooked and the ham topping was burnt. There were no gluten free dessert options offered at all.This restaurant has only been open again for a week and since our last visit (before lockdown) there seems to have been a total change of staff. Whilst we may visit again this site certainly needs to up its game if it is to survive post Covid as we sadly see so many restaurants closing sites. The competition is fierce and as we travelled 40 minutes to get here then next time we might go 40 minutes in the opposite direction.Using a Tastecard and Eat Out to help Out made this good value but at full price it would have been overpriced for the quality of the food received

2nd visit to Prezzos in beccles, only go because we can triple our club card vouchers, I would never pay full price for the food they serve! On this visit the staff were very pleasant, the food came 5 minutes after ordering so not freshly cooked, I had a processed chicken breast in mushroom sauce and fries, no veg or salad and was £14.50! A very small portion of fries is £4.00! I've had better food and paid a lot less! Really think Prezzos need to look at what they are trying to achieve, people will stop going if it's not value for money and at the moment it's not!

I really like Prezzo restaurants as along with good food, the service is also usually good as are the restaurants. Despite visiting Beccles for years and now living here, I've never visited this restaurant before because the reviews put me off. I really regret now not giving the restaurant a chance because along with the restaurant having a lovely feel, the staff were all really welcoming and friendly and our meals were delicious. Considering how busy the restaurant was we really received excellent service. So if you are a visitor to our lovely town or local, please don't be put off by negative reviews. This is definitely one of the best Prezzos I've visited and I'm happy to recommend

Sadly completely bereft of atmosphere. Saturday lunch time and one another couple and one single there. The remainder of people in restaurant were staff on a break. Not helped by server on mobile phone who makes you wait for service when you go in to what looks like a derelict restaurant. Fried mozzarella for kids starter x 2 both served at same time, one stone cold, one lava....not even sure how they do this.Pizza for main were fab and I dont even like pizza. Sadly I had to look for cutlery as after it was delivered didnt see server until bill arrived Around 15 mins after main served we were asked if we would like pepper or cheese....we had finished! Didnt bother with dessert! Venue would be lovely if staff were happy and attentive... they are not. Clearly heard moaning about shifts and conditions etc. Some food was fab, some was dire, surely could be fixed !I liked the venue and some of the food, staff let it down.sadly, they seemed like people who were being made to work. Would have gone back but sadly wont as you feel like you are crashing a wake!

Thank you for a lovely lunch. When booking appreciated manager's honesty that 1pm might result in delay as at same time as another large party. Arrived 1230 instead and food perfectly produced in timely manner. Liked mini meals... more than ample for main and pud for me. Service excellent... main waitress happy to organise cake with candles, take pictures etc... well supported by other team members to bring out food etc .. good team work throughout. Impressive venue with excellent access to table and toilet for less mobile members. Will come again.

Been today for lunch. Will never do again. My husband and I both had dishes with chicken in. It was clearly re-heated and not very hot I was suspicious when it arrived 5 minutes after ordering . Extremely disappointing. Poor value for money and poor quality. No wonder we were the only people in there.

Myself and my wife visited Prezzo last night, as our first date after getting married. Walking into the restaurant we thought it was very stylish and smart and was looking forward to our meal there. Unfortunately nothing was good after that. Damp stains on the ceiling, the toilets we're filthy, staff were miserable looking, miserable interacting and cold. Nearly caught their depression! We felt very uncomfortable in their presence! I ordered a regular size pizza, my wife ordered a large. There was no difference in the size apart from hers had been stretched into an oblong shape whereas mine was round. There must've been about a baby-sized handful of cheese chucked into the centre, and about 5 pieces of toppings in total! It was flavourless and tough! With a starter, main, and dessert each, it's probably the biggest waste of £65 I've ever spent! Absolutely do not recommend going here, you'd do better at the wetherspoons up the road!!!

Served quickly but food was terrible looked and tasted like a cheap microwave meal, was in and out in 40mins, will not be visiting again.

Every Prezzo we have visited has provided us with an excellent menu, a good, varied wine list and very friendly and rapid service. And, of course, the quality of the food is always good.

Ordered a Vesuvio pizza which is Prezzos version of a hot and spicy. It was listed as:Double pepperoni with roquito chillies and mozzarella. What came was a pepperoni pizza!! We asked where the chilli's were and was told we had to order those separately. They then supplied a dish of raw chilli's to put on our food. Not exactly what I expected when I ordered. As recompense we got our drinks for free, so can't complain really. Advice to future diners .... Make sure you specify what is required on your pizzas.

In short, the service was ok at best! Not very attentive staff with very little interaction with our table. The, ahem, food, was very below par. I'm almost sure that members of the kitchen staff must have popped over to Iceland,smuggles a few packs into the kitchen, pierced a few cellophane lids and 'PDing' voila - your prawn and salmon risotto is ready people!

I loved this restaurant as soon as I stepped inside, it still has the charm of the old cinema it once was. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress and seated immediately. Our drinks orders were taken and served really quickly. We thought the food was high quality and very tasty. It was served in a very reasonable time, was hot, well presented and there was plenty of it. Our waitress was very efficient and attentive as well as bubbly and friendly. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and we never felt rushed at all .Definitely one of the nicest meals out we've had out n a long time.

Speak as I find, great family evening at Prezzo. Really good service, calm, attentive, not rushed, good food, served with perfect timing. Thanks to all involved.

Admittedly we only went as we had Tesco vouchers to use. I hate paying full price for Italian as pasta is cheap as chips to make. Anyway, we went midweek at lunch time so we knew it would be quiet. The venue itself is quite unusual, being an old cinema.

Previously my favourite restaurant and always would pick to go here over any other restaurant . I am a regular at this restaurant and am left satisfied every time. However I took my family out here tonight and was left frankly embarrassed by the bad experience/service. The waiters started serving other customers when half of our table wasn’t served yet, one meal was taken back into the kitchen for no reason and didn’t show up for ten minutes before asking where it is. The pizza base was raw and undercooked, and the pasta was so undercooked it was hard to eat. I’d never leave this kind of review but tonight was out of order. They also started to take food away even though a couple of us hadn’t finished yet. Same polite front of house, however there must be new kitchen staff which are messing up the dynamic...

Since appointing a New Front of House team this establishment has put the interest of the customer first.

Nothing positive to say about this place. Service was slow, possibly to encourage customers to drink more before they tast the food! When the food finally arrived it may have come straight from a tin of packet . It appears most customers only go there when they have vouchers and it's just a cheap data when you have been to the gym over the road.

Do find it odd that you have to go up and pay? It seemed a lot of people were doing this, think the staff maybe just don’t come over and take payment. Do find this very odd as usually you shouldn’t have to go up to the counter and pay. Felt that the lady at the counter was rushed and bit rude but how else could we have paid?? Other staff were too busy to even ask for the bill. Apart from this it was good.

This once very reliable venue has continued to reduce its menu and removed some of my personal favourites like crab cakes.

I love this particular restaurant but the young lady who served us is just not quite as efficient as she should be. Last time she got our orders completely mucked up and this time she was brusque, surly and disinterested. I know the restaurant was quiet but you need staff that show genuine enthusiasm for this job if you are to see increased trade. I believe the food speaks for itself, it is always fresh and well presented. The next step is to clean those bloody toilets and employ better waiting on staff.
