Desi Roti & Curry in Sandwell

I highly recommend desi Roti and curry, they service is brilliant, i had no problem with communication through out my delivery, the food was brilliant its very high standard and perfect for any event, the drop off and pick up service is a bonas, thank you so much for a fantastic service, price can not be matched with any other caterers

After seeing a tiktok post on their meat pulao I ordered Aloo Gosht and naan for 40 people, the food was prepared early morning on request, whatsapp communication was excellent and meat was cooked perfectly to our spice level just like homemade. Quality of the meat was good.

Poor hygiene lazy people with lack of manners unprofessional

First time visiting this place. As soon as I walked in I was welcomed by the staff. Customer service was on point and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Ordered the chicken biryani and chicken pakoras from here for 20 people for a party. Food was fresh, hot, and really well made. We also hired foldable chairs from them. It’s great to be able to pick up everything from one place.

Placed a order from this place for a party for 25 people. Everything was very nice we ordered chicken rice meat curry Chicken roast and veg samosas Everything was ma sha Allah on point. The brother dropped it off ontime and even came out of his way to pick up the pans. 10-10 service and will be definitely ordering from this place again.

Stopped in for a few samoas but the value on their curry is fantastic so I got a chicken curry with naan. Best Indian food I've had in ages. Great value and quality

I had some nan from there and they were lovely. Made fresh in front of me. Even tasted great after 3 days as we had a few left over. The curries looked good too & we're good value. Will try a curry next time

This place is off the chart.. 10/10 proper food. The best i have had luxury of trying.. the chicken handi boneless was so good.. tasted 11/10 .. unbelievable. I have to recommend this place hard!

Fresh dishes cooked as you wait and amazing starters. Best thing is the tandoori roti

This establishment has been around for many years. They made a name for themselves for providing quality rotis at a cheap price. Prices are a little higher these days however the Rotis are still decent. These days they have intense competition from other grocery stores that make fresh roti and nan onsite and they are within a few minutes walking distance. Those local competition dont sell currys though. They are always busy, which for a food place is usually a good sign. The original owner could do with better communication skills. These days his sons run the place and they are more customer orientated. The curries they make are decent and freshly cooked. Would recommend trying these.

Almost had allergy attack!! incorrect item description. Called restaurant and they did nothing about it. Also found piece of steel scourer in the curry!! Trading standards need to shut them down! complete joke!

I normally get my Dhaal Turka from here,I like it spicy,theres a variety of curries to choose from and they also do kebabs,samosas etc give it a try

Wonderful food . Simply the best Curries in the area

Very rude! Customer service is not great at all. Called three times to make an order for collection. However, the man spoke in Urdu very rudely with no respect or mannerisms. Thought I misheard so called back again however, again he was very rude. The third time I called after a few minutes giving him the benefit of the doubt think he may be busy. But once again he was abrubt, aggressive and not pleasant at all. His loss, I had a large order and decided to take business elsewhere! NEVER AGAIN!

Food is always 5 star quality. Service is good as well. Phone ahead and the food is ready on the time when you get there, saves waiting around especially under current covid conditions.

It's a role in role out type of place. As the standard is good but don't hang about as it's a limited menu due to demand! Plenty of flavor!!

It's a Pakistani take away..you can buy fresh chupaties and curry.

No sanitizer or Covid-19 ready at all . Could be better .... Fail to wipe microwave prior or after use or use a plate to warm up kebabs . Prices reasonable ....

Always my go to, not sure where the negative reviews come from, as think for the food quality and service it’s ace. Fresh tasty hot curries and naan/roti to go with it. Never had a disappointing curry from here. Uncle and his sons always cook exactly how you want it.

The fresh chappati are really good however prices have rise over the past few years.

Amazing food, just like home cooked

Just a Pakistani Canteen! Went to this takeaway today, ordered a lamb dansak looking at their take away menu. It says £5.99 with 2 nan or 3 roti. Unfortunately , the guy on the counter initially says , it is gonna take 10 minutes, but it took around 25 , i don't mind waiting, but it's nothing special. When I was about to pay the guy said it's £8.00. I found it totally misguiding as your menu says £5.99. So if you order something make sure you check the price. I hardly write negative reviews, but considering everything I have to write this review.

Bought chapattis which were awful and dry first time in the shop and last time, the place looked untidy and service was really bad. They also tried to keep my change lucky I had checked my change.

Got food from here last night after not eating from there for a while the food has turned shocking it wws that bad i couldnt even finish it all and i feel sick this morning from it it has a 0hygene rating as of witch i never knew before i went there it aint even got the sticker up in the shop its like there hiding the facts wont be going there again loyal customer lost

MASHAALLAH one of the best in Birmingham. may not look the part when your driving past but believe me u need to hit them brakes park your ride go inside and order a curry or whatever you fancy on their menu. believe me you will not be disappointed or dissatisfied. quick service no matter how busy they are you won't have to wait long. if you enjoyed and loved your food like I always do then next time you can always ring up and place your order over the phone and give it 15/20mins and 99% of the time when you arrive to collect your food will be ready. Awesome service and a great bunch of lads. even when it's your 1st time the way they treat you it's as if you have been going there years. Only negative thing about DESIROTI is that they don't deliver but yet again that is also a positive thing because it proves the food is so tasty that all their customers are ready to make that journey. I can understand why they don't deliver because I myself have to drive 8miles when I fancy a curry which is most nights lol and I have friends/family who live even further but yet always go to desiroti. they have customers from all parts off the city and even customers from different cities as far as Devon yes Devon I couldn't believe it when I was there a few weeks back there was a young couple who were jus getting ready to pay their bill £63.00 "I said that's a lot of food where's the party at" and that's when they told me that their from Devon and once a month they cum down to Birmingham to meet family and always come to desiroti and take various dishes back which they then put in the freezer and whenever they fancy a curry they jus simply pick one out and warm it up. so guys take my word for it if you love a good curry and you haven't been to DESIROTI then Im afraid to tell you that you still haven't had your best.
