The place I found near strawberry garden is real home like place and food was no doubt 😋 unbeatable and tastes like my mums food . Saru served me and my friends and her service,the way she smiled is very adorable ☺️. We will come back

Amazing food, had nihari, naan, keema Somoza and aloo parata. The nihari is faultless and will come back for more, I would have loved the naan to be a slight sweeter and with more black see oil as this is how bengalis have it, the Somosa was fresh and moist and my wife loved the aloo parata, Please keep it up

Our visit to this restaurant was a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with true Punjabi mehmaan-nawazi, making us feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere. We ordered Nihari, Saag with Butter, Naan, Lassi, and Chai, and every dish was bursting with authentic flavors. The Nihari was rich and perfectly spiced, the Saag had a delicious homemade taste, and the Naan was soft and fresh. The Lassi was thick and refreshing, while the Chai provided the perfect comforting finish. The ambiance, with its vibrant décor and cultural charm, truly transported us to Punjab. A must-visit for anyone craving real Desi flavors!

We were looking for some "original Pakistani breakfast" after a long voyage from Ireland and we couldn't have gotten anything better. If you want a homemade experience of authentic Pakistani food, then this is the place to be. Everything from food flavours and the atmosphere made me miss home and at the same time feel very much at home. The staff are very friendly and professional with a very "apna" vibe- 2 chais (again amazing!) on the house saying "app mehman hain" (you're our guests) We may plan our next trip to Ireland via Glasgow just to come back here! This is 1 of the very best place's in order for 💯% completely authentic freshly-made and served Pakistani and south Asian food. All the original "Desi" breakfasts, mains, sides, desserts, drinks and much more. I personally Love it here as the food is actually cooked not in a back kitchen but in plain view. Service is great. Family run buisness who are extremely warm and welcoming. Price's are some of the cheapest compared with most other's. There are booths for privacy Or Different types of table layouts. Looks small from the outside but is massive from the inside ! Not once have it not received completely freshly prepared food that I've ordered and enjoyrd, then come back out with a full stomach and it was just literally a few pounds 💷. Pakistani tea 🍵, Coffee ☕️, Lassi ( traditional yoghurt based drink ) Of different flavours. Basically, Desi Dhabba Chaiwala Is a ' Hidden Gem 💎 '!!!!!! We ordered aloo paratha and halwa puri chana.We felt puri was too oily so couldn’t eat. Though the atmosphere was good but service could have been a bit better as we had to order by going to the counter could be taken at the table also had to request for tissues, water by going to the counter at the front.

The pricing was really good and overall it was great value for money. I’ve tried many similar places throughout Glasgow and this place (Desi Dhaba Chaiwala) is hard to beat! Only thing would like is a specials board so can see what the special of the day is while deciding what to order. 🙏

Así que después de un largo y duro día conduciendo por el Lago Lomond y el parque nacional, visitando algunos lugares y disfrutando de la belleza de A 82 llegamos de vuelta al hotel, absolutamente destrozado, directo a las camas. A la mañana siguiente me desperté hambriento con ganas de algo desi, desi apropiado, sin posibilidad en el hotel. Terminó en este lugar después de probar su comida en un evento antes, recibido con una gran sonrisa por el propietario. El lugar me ha dejado absolutamente sin palabras, nunca tuve comida tan buena, tan fresca y tan rápida. Se recomienda encarecidamente una visita. Todo lo que pedimos fue 10 / 10 pero no te pierdas de pedir daal con paratha, con muchas muchas otras opciones disponibles también ! !

Not Again. spent £20 bought Paye and 3 breads. I was shocked it was not even a plate of "shorba" , The box was quarter full and had two massive pieces in it. not even enough for one person. No taste at all, Absolute ripoff. I always go to Shinwari for paye , first time tried this place and sooooo disappointed

The atmospher was great they had a Qawali song on and you can feel the punjabi vibe as soon as you walk in. Food was not that Amazing the spicy omlate was not spicy atall, and the Kashmiri pink tea was well made but didin't have the salty namkeen taste. The Arabian partha was not that great, I was expecting a taste of Zatar, but it was plain with cheese and thin pices of chicken

We enjoyed the paratha and tarka dhal, followed by chicken tikka and more dhal with 2 roti. Desi çay to finish. Service was relaxed, caring and attentive. Will take photographs next time 😍

I recently came with my family for the first time. The food was good and the service was great. The tea could've been hotter as it was lukewarm but I will definitely be back in the future. Hopefully next time my tea is extra hot!

Highly recommended visit, we will definitely be back. Amazing food and experience the whole family enjoyed. The staff and the owner were extremely kind and down to earth, the gulab jamun and gajrela were out of this world.

Mooli Paratha 6/10- 7GBP (plain paratha is 5GBP) ***Staff is nice and friendly. ***Only cash or bank transfer available as expected. ***Credit card machine is not working as usual for all desi places. ***Exhaust is not working so it feels like you are sitting in kitchen with a-lot of smoke. Good food but expensive.

I travelled from London for a family wedding and tried this place for breakfast. Excellent Punjabi style breakfast , my favourite was Paratha Omelette. Staff were very nice and owner showed us a lot of respect. I will definitely be coming back to this place

I recently had the best experience at Desi Dhaba Chaiwala. The atmosphere, service, and especially the food were all outstanding. The entire ambiance was excellent, making it a memorable visit. A special thanks to Qainaat for the amazing Gol Gappay (both namkeen and meetha) and the delicious Gulab Jamun at the end. And of course, I can’t forget to mention the delightful Pink Tea!

Totally loved the desi cultural vibe. Food is delicious with abundant portions. We ordered many dishes because it was a big group. Loved every single dish: omelette, parathas (plain and cheese), along with raita and achaar, nihaari and halwa puri. Chai was superb. Quick service. Spacious, clean and hygienic place, including the washroom. Photogenic spots. The staff was very polite and friendly. 11/10 recommended place.

In the morning when you are looking for something like desi breakfast, so this place is good for you. Pratha, Poory, Chane, Halwa and Tea more then enough for entertainment. Good service and environment too, but too much expensive £££. Roadside parking available if you found one.

Absolutely amazing service and food. Staff are sooooo friendly. We originally were going to eat at another place 2 doors away but the welcome there wasnt that great. Whereas Desi Dhaba staff went over and above expectation. Food was delicious and fresh. Lovely staff also allowed us to pray in their staff room! ❤️❤️ asthetics are so cool plenty on pic opportunities. Really authentic place would deffinitely go again and again.

I was missing Pakistan so much my hubby took me to this little gem of a place absolutely loved the food and the place was amazing authentic like Pakistan! Will deffo be my number one place to go! The only I would say is the tea needs to be proper home made desi tea, it’s taste too ready made !

Another bad food experience in Glasgow thought this place would be better because of the reviews, but it was quite the opposite. The food quality was extremely poor. Nehari was just like any other curry; I also ordered tea but never received it and was charged for it, which was cancelled after informing them. In comparison to London, the prices were extremely high. The naan was burnt and overcooked, not soft like tandoori naan. We explicitly asked the order lady not to put chilli in kids paratha omelette, but there was chilli in it and our kid suffered with the spices

Very delicious food. We were four and had chicken kabobs, lamb curry, plain saag and chicken something and biryani. All the dishes were mouth watering delicious. The owner is a young lady, who started cooking at home and delivering to customers - advertised on FB. In a few years she gradually moved up from cooking at home to a kiosk, and now has a sit down place.

We came all the way from Newcastle and this food was exactly what I needed and had the perfect taste just like the food back in pakistan, the staff were so welcoming too

Omar and his sister Zaytuna who both work at the restaurant are extremely welcoming and friendly. They spent quite a bit of time chatting to us and making us feel welcome. I was on a short two day trip from London and was recommended this place by a local friend. Food is a little pricey considering it’s just breakfast. I ordered keema paratha, plain paratha, and chana, along with desi chai. The food was tasty and authentic, the teas could have been nicer. Overall would recommend this place and once Omar is a great person who will treat you very well!

My friend and I, decided to give this place a try after seeing a review on insta and it did not disappoint, staff (particularly our server with baseball cap) was super friendly and helpful as asked for recommendations as I can't have dairy or egg, with their helpful suggestions we picked desi a & mixed thali and extra paratha to share, it was so tasty! best currys I've had in a while very flavoursome, my top 3 were potato, spinach & chickpea currys, would highly recommend and will be coming back.
