Very poor and unprofessional service. Ordered through Uber. Rang restaurant for update and they were rude and wouldn’t give a straight answer as to where the order was. Never received the order.

2nd best mixed grill I’ve ever had, only to be topped by the sheepscar bar and grill! That was a restaurant. At Desi I got takeout. The staff are great too

Awful food to much oil in curry and to much salt

We ordered a Pizza in the pizza we found an Bone we then informed the owner.

Been getting rotis and naan from these guys. Love the customer service and the warm demeanour I receive every time.

Food was ok but not the best I've ever tasted. Don't do many side dishes and minimal starters like onion bhajis. Onething I will say is that it has a recent 5 start hygiene rating and the kitchen looks very clean.

Lovely traditional food. Quite busy as most locals visit. Always a good sign. Biryani was lovely. Also got chicken and meat and both were good value for money and tasted excellent.

I have been meaning to visit this takeaway and I’m so glad I finally did. All the recommendations were spot on from family members. The desi special pizza and mixed grill were delicious. Generously topped with cheese and meats and were hot when we ate them. We also got the meat donner in a tray which came with a beautifully fresh salad and chilli sauce. This was delicious too and we will definitely be returning to try other things on the menu. We ordered on the phone and was told that it would be 20/25 minutes. This timing was spot on as when we arrived at the takeaway we were given our order pretty much straightaway. The workers are friendly and communicated prices and recommendations efficiently. A lovely place to order from with yummy food!

Best desi food in batley. Must try their chilli garlic lamb and chicken tikka masala. Also love the mix non veg pizza.

Food is good, but on the expensive side compared to what you get. Service could be better

Won't be ordering from this place ever again. Ordered a large chicken masala + donner meat & chips. Curry was something you'd pick up from your local paper shop pure sweet gravy the chips were under cooked. Waste of £21!

I had chicken on the bone curry which was too oily with 5 neck peices and one tiny leg peice in a gravy at a cost of £14 with no such desi taste and on top stomach upset on the next day morning. Chicken biryani was good. Roti was tough to chew. It used to be a quality take out but now lost the confidence with this experience.

I went here based on the reviews here. I'm very disappointed with my experience. Oily awful pizzas and terrible customer service. I'm at the front counter and none is coming to serve me. I see a sign along the stairs to the other side restaurant so I device to dine in being famished. I go up and a staff member pushes past me instead of professional civil decency to let me through with my work bag. I waited 20 minutes no service. I go down and a young lady/ teenager is there whom I asked if upstairs restaurant is open. She told us but didn't know I was upstairs. I told her the guy next to her knees I was upstairs. He didn't care being in an earshot. So I ordered to get 2 pizza to takeaway. I was in no mood to eat in now. Very lacklustre service. When the pizzas are ready and I'm at the back near the entrance the lazy guy just through the boxes onto his side counter. I understand is mine and he doesn't smile or anything to me. I just take the boxes. No good customer service at all. Pathetic. Thin based pizzas One was so oily I don't understand why like a kebab. Awful. Ruined the taste of the chicken pizza. The other was better to a degree with Sheesh kebab on it. I was passing by and very hungry and thought to give it a go. Not a place for an outsider I recommend. Clearly nicer to those they know the locals and not friendly to outsider. Very backwards mentality place.

I never ever usually leave reviews but I just had to for this place. IF ONE WORD WAS TO BE USED TO DESCRIBE MY EXPERIENCE IT WOULD BE 'WOW' ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was invited by some business associates to eat in their restaurant. Upon arrival I was amazed at how nicely we were treated in particular by Amaan. Amaan even offered to make us cheese naans which is our usual choice of naan but weren't on their menu. I have ate from all the big named restaurants but these guys food definitely takes the TOP SPOT. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection, in particular the chicken jalfrezi and their cheese naans were second to none. The following day I went back in for a takeout for me and my family and it was on point again. The pizzas with extra cheese and the cheesy crust (again made upon request and not on the menu) went down a treat with the kids. I will definitely be back again, keep up the good service 😊

The Chicken Tikka masala was simply superb , proper authentic curry . Didnt have to wait long but would have been worth waiting for anyway . May the Almighty protect desi chef from negative energies .

Literally hated everything food was too spicy, we went the day after Eid and we dis compliant about the food and just got told that's how you getting the curries. We spent over 150 pound and majority of the food went in the bin. We usually go here on every Eid or occasion. Very disappointed probably never again here.

I ordered a chicken burger and a portion of wings. However when I picked up the food they had extra cans of drinks in place of the wings, they tried to weasel out of the situation by pawning off a cheap story, had to wait extra time to get the wings in which the burger had become cold and chips soggy. Burger was standered off the shelf quality but the wings were amazing.

Ordered a chicken and donner kebab with no sauce. It came coated with sauce and was spicier than the curry. The naan dripped grease.

Amazing quality! the tomato sauce on the pizza is rich in flavour. Update: Quality continues to be number 1 very consistent, definitely one of the best in town.

Fantastic quality food - I discovered this gem in lockdown and keep going back time and time again. I would especially recommend the chicken tikka naan kebabs which are always on our order. If you want fresh, authentic restaurant quality food around Batley this is the place to order from.

Ordered for the first time from here and I have to say the food was delicious. The pizzas are on par if not better than pizza hut. Will definitely be back as weve found our new best place to order from. Please dont let the quality slide as they were amazing tonight.

Absolute Gem!! Simply delicious food. I mean stunningly delicious. Proper, traditional Indian food with incredible depth of flavour and really well priced. The lamb on the bone & paya are absolutely exquisite to say the least. This place is really different compared all the new short lived “craze” food places we have nowadays. So if you want a traditional desi curries I would say this is the only place to go. The restaurant upstairs has modern & relaxed feel with excellent waiter service. Would recommend to all.

Was visiting family in batley over the weekend and me and my family wanted to try something new. Herd some good things about this place so thought we would try it for ourselves. We ate in first of all i would like to say that it was spot less my kids and the mrs are abit fussy if the tables are not clean or if the floor isnt clean but this has been one of the cleanest places i have been to in a while. The customer service was incredible the young lads are very polite, orderd a spicy fish pizza i wouldn't usually go for this but we thought we would try something new. The pizza has to be the most delicious pizza i have ever had if you love spice you will love this pizza i orderd another to take home with me. We also orderd a marghrita for the kids and they loved itt the cheese melts in your mouth the kids really enjoyed it. We also ordrded burgers which were really fresh the kids enjoyed every bite. I think when evr i come to batley i will definatley be coming here again. Honestly pizzas are spot on keep up the good work lads..

Placed an order last night at work for 8 of us as we were working late. Must say I was very impressed with the service and quality of food. We got a good variety to try out including Curries,Pizza’s,Bugers and Chicken Donner. It was all flavoursome and everyone really enjoyed it so I would strongly recommend to try this new eatery. Well done guys keep up the good service and quality.
