Dem Turkish Mezze & Grill Restaurant in Lambeth

The food was absolutely amazing!! And honestly the complimentary flatbread is to die forrrrrr. Go here all the time with my friends, the service is lovely and welcome and the food is just beautiful. Would recommend for families,friends and pretty much everything. Trying to find parking around is a bit difficult so be mindful of that. 10/10

Went for a meal at this eatery on Monday evening and had a very pleasant experience. The waiting staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu; making suggestions about different dishes to try based on our enquiries. Once ordered, the food arrived promptly and was very tasty. The atmosphere in The restaurant was also very jovial and for a Monday night the place was fairly busy. I would not recommend the porn star cocktail it wasn’t great unfortunately but the meal we had was. I had the calamari to start and my friend had the fried aubergine. We were also served the delicious Turkish bread and salad. Mains were good. I had the grilled sea-bass. Which was also good although I would of preferred the fish served whole rather than filleted. My fried had a Turkish medley of grilled meats served with rice and salads. The place was a little on the expensive side but I would visit there again.

This was once my favourite local restaurant; I've been a regular customer eating there since they opened. Sadly, after tonight's experience, I will not be going back. The staff were rude, shouting at me, "Which one?" when I ordered a cocktail; they brought me the wrong one and moaned about me to other staff for not accepting it. The food was appalling: stale bread, old wilted salad, and they got my order wrong. When I complained, I was verbally abused by the manager. Avoid this restaurant. It's gone down BIG TIME!

We wandered into this restaurant on a Saturday night and were seated promptly even though they were very busy. It was noisy, lively with fabulous food and service, just what you would expect, we were well looked after and will return.

I had heard good things about this place, it was recommended by a friend too, who’d had a great experience previously. So I had reasonably high expectations. The appetiser they brought was fantastic (and complimentary). The mains however were disappointing. I had the grilled king prawns which were tasty, but not fresh. My sister had the mousakka which looked and tasted as though it had been previously cooked, frozen and reheated. I understand the place gets very busy, but the food should at least be cooked on the day, and with fresh ingredients. Also, the staff seemed to be overwhelmed and rushing about without really looking up so we had to physically get up to call them over so we could order, then again for the bill as they just kept walking by us. Overall, not a great experience and unfortunately I wouldn’t go back. For the price I expected much more.

I used to enjoy eating from Dem but after lock down the price of lamb chops went from £11 to £15.50 (brace for a cost of living price hike) they claimed the price was the same but that was bs. But its how they treat regular customers like myself that has got me writing this. I live close to Dem so close their customers park in our car park. When a group of their customers blocked my partners car so she couldn't leave instead of being helpful the management was rude and their customers were abusive to my partner. I asked the to not let their customers park there in future but was met with rudeness and an attempt to intimadate me. When this happened again we were met with the same hostility. But this time it was not just me but 17 of our neighbours that were annoyed. So if you want a nice meal make sure you don't park at the back coz now we are all peed off and cars park in our car park will be parked at the owners own risk.

Went Friday night with few friends. Staff were attentive and friendly and did not rush us even though the restaurant was busy Had the chicken kofte and chicken shush. Food was tasty and tender. Would go back

One awesome night and a relaxing and nice restaurant in the Crystal Palace area. All of the food ‘’meat or fish’ was cooked to perfection and order. Staff worked hard to make sure you have a good meal and time out. And the restaurant has a big group area for party’s.

First time here meeting a friend after nearly two years and what an amazing find. The service was great, the place lovely and clean and the food was just lovely. We ordered the meat mousakka and sea-bass and both were really tasty. Generous portions and really nicely presented. On the house before our mains we were served a beautiful fresh salad, grilled onions in a beautiful sauce, some fresh bread and a couple of very tasty sauces. Glad we didn’t order starters as this was a great way to start our meal. I would definitely return even though it is not that near home. Thank you!
