Wow best Chinese around,I'm in ingoldmells and there isn't a decent one around,went to the one in skegg across from the asda garage and ended up with food poisoning so looked at the reviews and thought we would give it a try,amazing food,thankyou delight Chinese

5 stars all round for this excellent Chinese takeaway. One of the best Chinese we’ve ever had. Quality ingredients cooked well. Particularly recommend the Beef in green pepper and black bean and the chicken and mushroom. The mushrooms in particular were very tasty and the beef was really tender.

Always had good food from here until this time,sweet and sour chicken balls.Chicken balls very well done on outside but batter on inside not cooked and all puddeny,sauce like water,no consistency. This was more like a throw away than a takeaway, will have to try further afield.

Was staying 10 minutes away from here and after reading reviews of local take aways this seemed to be the best place, the reviews aren't wrong, absolutely gorgeous food, best BBQ pork and mushroom I've had for ages, only one little complaint and I mean really tiny, the Special Chow Mein was spicy, never had it like this before, weren't sure about it but the rest of the food was absolutely beautiful. Order by phone before going, decent parking outside.

I travel around the UK all the time, stopover at family in the area regularly. This is the best Chinese in the UK in my opinion, never ever have had anything under par. Beautiful warm food delivered every time. Top class 👌🏻

The food was given to the wrong person because the driver didn't ask what the order was or where the other person ordered it from so eventually when I got my food it was cold. I called the Chinese and the girl on the phone said it wasn't the drivers fault. It's not rocket science to ask who's collecting the chinese where they ordered it from or wht they ordered. Very bad customer service. The order was also wrong as I didn't mention crispy beef and that's what they sent. Will never use again.

Lovely tasty food, but waiting times are way out. Got told 20 mins and 40 mins later we got our food. Second visit to this Chinese. We pre-ordered by phone for collection. Was told it would be ready in 40 mins. 70 minutes later, we finally got our food. It's definitely worth waiting, though.

Take out only ,but consistently good ,everybody might have a different opinion but this is mine

I phoned up to deliver and was told it be ready at set time when went to phone where my food no ordered been taken waited 2 hours never will I use them again. never again.

Everything was good, I ordered the first time the other night, Chicken chow mein, egg fried rice, chips and sweet and sour sauce, the food was nice and hot, polite service from the young lady behind the counter.

Ordered quite a big order and in that order was prawn fried rice well the prawns was clearly off confirmed by 3 of us how they can sell them when they taste like that i will never no so chucked that 7 pound plus down the drain then the rest of the order never got eaten waste of money and the first time ive had bad food from that chinese in 17 years when it was owned by faye the food was the best round here by far but even the rice smelt funny not good at all man disgusting about the vile prawns stay well away

I ordered a meal and specified the allergies I have and the meal I received I could not eat due to it having spices and garlic in. I rang to complain and they offered to replace the noodles but not the rest which was all on one plate. The lady on the phone was rude. I got a refund in the end. None of the food we had between us as a family was any good the rice meal had barely any sauce and was dry. The wontons contain puréed filling spread on filo pastry and not an actual piece of filling so they were dry and awful. I would avoid this place

Lovely friendly staff . Very busy inside sometimes there is no time for answering phone that's why I prefer order in . Waiting its not a problem especially all customers and service are so friendly. Food wise I think the best one in radius of 10 miles in my opinion.

Delicious, best Chinese we’ve had in a long time, highly recommend

A genuinely good Chinese takeaway. The ribs were tender, the chicken & sweetcorn soup was delicious and the beef in a black bean sauce was exquisite. There were 5 of us and we ordered a feast with everyone enjoying their food. Apparently the chicken balls were generous on the chicken and light on the crispy batter. The unique take on the Singapore noodles were a pleasant surprise. We didn't come to Sutton-on-Sea for the Chinese food but it's the reason we'll be coming back!

Very nice lady served us .had to wait a while as they was very busy but it was well worth the wait.will be going again when we are down this way

They make great food but the delivery is abysmal. 2.5 hours last week and 2.75 hours this week, plus the order not right. I couldn’t ring to complain as, not only don’t they have enough delivery drivers, but they don’t have enough ppl manning the phones. It took 47 attempts at dialling to get through initially to place the order!! Then I wanted to add to the order but gave up after 73 times of the phone being engaged. So I wasn’t going to waste any more time ringing to point out my Chicken fried rice main meal was just a small portion of fried rice. Their system shows them who’s ringing and the address, but falls down as it doesn’t show the last order, and ppl often want a repeat of the previous order, in my experience, or to modify it slightly. That would save so much time (and mistakes!) Food good as I say, but the rest leaves a lot to be desired. Won’t be using them again.

Another amazing meal, enjoyed on to celebrate my husbands birthday with friends. Meal for 6 all food was piping hot and full of flavour. I’ve used this Chinese many times since moving here 2 1/2 years ago, never had a bad meal

What a joke won’t answer phone been 45 mins now won’t use them again

Friday evening. Ordered chow mein and prawn with cashews. The chow mein was greasy and overcooked. The prawns and veg were also overcooked and all the same colour. Not the best chinese.

Have a meal from here everytime we visit sutton on sea. It never disappoints. Best chinese food going. Hot and large portions.

Rang for a delivery and after one hour forty five minutes we rang to see why was taking so long. They said that it had gone out and should be with us in a couple of minutes. No... Another 45 mins it turned up cold... Put it down to maybe new driver. Week or so later tried to order a delivery.. Called and they said they would not deliver... Really.. They won't deliver because they were late last time.. If they can afford to turn down custom then they must be able to afford it. Went elsewhere and the food was better.. No loss on our part but used them regularly and was big orders.... My advice.. Use these as a last resort...

Good chinese you will enjoy their food

Strange!? Food I had was OK. I had sweet n sour chicken balls but I asked for a smaller portion of balls, when we unpacked the food there was only half a tub of sauce?? Asking why? The reply was only ordered half portion?! I don't know if it me but I think that is ridiculous!

Food is delicious. Love that they have gluten free menu under counter that is produced on asking. Waiting time was minimal

Excellent choice of well cooked food.

The service was excellent and friendly and they were very busy. The sweet and sour chicken was good as was the chicken satay, but the Chinese chicken curry was very greasy and didn’t taste quite right - chose not to eat it. First time we’ve had food from here so not sure if it’s just a one off error because they’re busy?

Went to delight Chinese takeaway in Sutton after recommendation from a friend, food was the best, large portions, friendly staff and only had to wait about 15 minutes for our food, i would highly recommend this takeaway, delivery service also available at small extra cost

Was a bit dubious after reading some of the reviews but have to say we weren't disappointed the food was beautiful and hot waited about 20 mins after we'd ordered in the shop . 4 different dished everyone happy

Had special curry, mushroom rice, king prawn in tomato and 2 pancake rolls and it was absolutely fabulous!! So tasty and beautifully cooked. Well done and thank you. Can't recommend highly enough!

I don't know why we use this takeaway, we were joking about them getting the order wrong as this has happened on many occasions whats the point in having a menu because they send what they like! We will not be using them again

Food always good, although we live in Mablethorpe so delivery service can sometimes take time and not always hot when it arrives. Need a quick microwave. The portions are good, prices are average.

We love the food from this Takeaway, its probably the best Chinese cuisine in the area BUT recently their delivery policy has been an issue. We are in Hogsthorpe and have ordered our Chinese deliveries from here for the last 6 years. Now we have just been told trying to order tonight that they no longer deliver in Hogsthorpe , as it is too far. Why the change? They said there have been complaints that the food is too cold when it arrives. We have never had cold food, but wouldn't complain if it was a bit cool as living in the sticks you just stick the oven on ready to pop it in. I suspect the dodgy delivery firm they have hired is at the root of the new policy, as the second to last delivery I nearly had a stand up fight on our drive as the Cockney wideboy who was delivering that night tried to extort another 3 quid on top of the standard £5 delivery charge at the time. If he was doing this to all customers outside of the Sutton area then he was coining it in. Needless to say he was told to either drop the food off or slope back to where he come from. I don't mind paying for delivery at the agreed rate. Any way, its a shame that the New Delight owners have been swayed by the cowboy drivers working for them - I will miss the excellent food, but not the aggro, and I am sure they will miss the revenue in the winter months when their tourist customer base drops!

Just had sweet and sour chicken king prawn chop suey fried rice and prawn crackers. The chicken was inedible as it was still pink, the king prawn had 4 prawns and the rest of the dish was carrot and beansprouts no flavour at all. Do not go

One of the best Chinese takeaways we've had in ages!

The food quality is quite good but there is a serious issue. The chop suey states that it contains bamboo shoots and water chestnuts. Neither were present in our meal. Shame really for such casuality about preparing the food

Worst Chinese I've had in my life. Hands down. We had delicious cremated chicken balls, with a side of crispy shredded ashes. The only thing viable is the rice. Absaloutely disgusting.

Asked for only vegetables and No Egg. They put egg in a rice noodles dish. If I wanted egg I would have Egg noodles.and very over salted. Never again. Worse than the chippy next door

Great local Chinese, excellent menu and large portions. Everything cooked freshly while you wait. Also deliver or you can pre order for collection.

This is a Chinese takeaway worth avoiding!! The egg fried rice came out of the container in one lump it was so stogie. The beef in the chowmein was slimey and under cooked.

So everything looked lovely but the special fried rice wasn't nice at all and although we was enjoying everything els we had ordered, unfortunately I found a long dark hair rapped around my spare rib bone 😱 and if anything can put us off our entire meal its hair in our food.... Shame

Do not use this place, terrible service, order food and takes hours longer to be ready than told. Just happy to take your money and stuff the customer. Shame on the owners

Food was vile got spare ribs dry and they were brown and dry. Got beef curry didn’t taste like curry very dark brown. Got chicken egg fried rice curry sauce was dark brown didn’t taste like curry sauce. And the chicken was burnt. Also got chicken and chips chicken was very dry. Chips was nice. Not sure if new ownership but never had food like this before and lost our custom.

Rang at 5.05pm with my order,they delivered at 6.05pm the portion of chips was missing,I rang to tell them they said they would get some delivered as soon as a driver came back,35 minutes passed still no chips,rang again and was told I had to wait till a driver was going my way to drop off the chips,apparently its not there fault,so who's is it,we are regular customers of this takeaway but will not be using them again,the attitude of the driver was appalling and put the phone down on me,im sorry I paid for my meal I expect it to be delivered complete if not rectified ASAP They have lost a good customer

Just had this tonight, can't fault it at all. Food was quick and delicious.

have used this Chinese for over 15 years and its food had always been good , used to wait up to an hour for them to cook it whist waiting, but tonight only waited for 10 minutes maximum, thought it was strange for it to be so quick, but when I got home the food looked and tasted terrible. the BBQ ribs were really dried out and burnt, the chicken wings looked like they'd just been reheated and had a yellow tinge to the colour and made me throw up, the rest was just as bad, it looked like it had been re-cooked food from the day before, it was that bad I wouldn't even give it to my dogs and cats, but took it back and showed them, it turned out that I was the first customer for the day so that just made it worse as the food should have been fresh. it looks like there's new staff running the place, and had to argue with them to get a partial refund, I still feel sick, I'm never going back there again. in future I'm going to China Rose, or not having Chinese until I go elsewhere out if this town. Only put one star as it's the lowest your allowed to go!!

Fantastic, flavoursome, quality, delicious. On holiday this way and I love my curry's and very particular about Chinese food and quality especially the sauce. This was really good. Big portions . Waited over an hour but well worth waiting for. We had various meals in my family and everyone enjoyed the food.

Stayed at Cherry Tree campsite. Delivered to the site and food was lovely. Great portions and highly recommended 👍 😋😋😋 Yum.

Actually love this place, but it's getting a one star review because they don't seem to be interested in doing business on a Saturday night. Tried phoning an order for two weeks running now, and all I'm met with is "line busy". Ridiculous. Even an answer phone message would be nice.

Lovely and lots of it, went back while staying in trusthorpe 26th October 19 and we had to wait over an hour for our order totally unacceptable, if your hungry don't go here, you'll die of hunger.

Brilliant take away. Great selection of dishes and freshly made. Most decent one in the area. Always use this one! 1 star missing due to no card option.

Me and my partner stayed at popular cottages farm with crafts, vintage tea room and camping. It's a really nice site and would stay again if passing through. Turned up hungry and tired so being lazy looked for a local food delivery and came across delightful Chinese, and be assured it is. Food came in generous portions was cooked very well and tasted great delivered straight to our tent. Marvelous 👍😁
