Ordered leek and potato soup, watery and blend, no taste, I think they used the leeks to paint the green walls with, this place caters for old age pensioners who have lost not only their teeth but also their taste buds and also can’t hear their yapping dogs.

Excellent full English breakfast! Great Lincolnshire saussies, nice thick bacon, fried tomatoes (some places seem to have replaced with canned watery ones) and everything cooked to perfection. Refreshingly nice to see black pudding as an optional extra. Great service, my food arrived before I was even a third of my way through the coffee. I shall be back, but only after quite a bit of exercise!

Lovely place , found staff friendly and welcoming, especially as we had our dogs with us. Food Experiensive, some overly chilled to a point i couldn't eat it , so much so it spoilt my experience. Cannot fault the selection of plants. Overall, we enjoyed the time spent wandering around.

Whilst the Lady serving was happy, cheerful, the scones were awful. So dry that they just crumbled. We could not eat. Tried with a teaspoon to eat it. The flavour was wrong as well, fruit inside there was 4 sultanas lol. Tea , your pot is so small that it only does just over one small cup. Asked for additional water. Coffee was very bitter. I normally love this place, but sadly something is wrong now!

Went there today for the first time in a long time. Wow. I will admit, not the cheapest but the food was lovely. Well cooked, presented beautifully; no long wait time. Friendly clean staff. Clean restaurant areas, attentive staff, just simply a lovely place to eat out. You pay for what you get and if you want cheap and cheerful this is not the place; if you want quality and good home cooked food, then this is. We will be going back very soon!!

We visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The restaurant was busy, and we were seated straightaway. The drinks order was taken promptly, and served quickly. We decided to try burgers from the Chuck Burger menu. The food took a little while to arrive, but this was expected as it was busy for the Easter weekend. The food was great, the burgers were without faffy extras such as salad, and just tasted 'proper'. They also were good to eat in that they held together, which many others burgers don't due to the amount of other ingredients in the bun and everything slides out of the sides and ends up a mess. I was most impressed with the staff; the team are a mix of young and also mature staff. All of them were doing a great job, very efficient and professional. We will be returning again and really enjoyed our visit.

Went here with my best friend for breakfast last minute before visiting Gunby Hall, Nov 13th 2024, wish we hadnt bothered, the service was poor, both staff on the day (think it was mother and daughter) were very unfriendly, no friendly chit chat, the place was cold, no music and the ambience was non - existent. and to top it all the food was very mediocre, the only saving grace was that a small breakfast only cost us £4.50, but needless to say we will not be returning To be honest the whole place could do with a complete refurbishment, looked very shabby and uncared for

Had a lamb madras last night , keema rice and a garlic naan . The sauce in the madras had a nice little kick as a madras should, however the tiny pieces of lamb were very chewy but edible , the keema rice was nice along with the garlic naan ....by no means was this restaurant standard , so don't eat here if you expect Michelin star standard food .....its the seaside
