Delicio in Bexley

Always good to see you, love me usual, will come back more often when I stop eating so many sly Mcd’s and biscuits at work, love me big fish and got to get a moped 🏍👍

We went to celebrate our daughter's birthday yesterday evening (Friday 23rd August 2024) at Delicio-Bexleyheath. The welcome once we entered the restaurant was very welcoming and friendly We were constantly checked upon during our meal enquiring if everything was fine. The food was delicious and very well presented. Staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. John in particular was wonderful (as were all the other staff). He came to sit with us and remembered quite a lot of us as a family from when we were previously there to celebrate our son's birthday. The icing on the cake was that 'happy birthday' was played on the restaurant's speakers and our daughter was presented with a cake. I would recommend this restaurant with great delight.

We have been to Delicio many times and have never been disappointed, the food is absolutely delicious, served up quickly, the restaurant is immaculate and all the staff are extremely professional and friendly. The lovely John is always full of smiles and looks after not just us but all the customers. I was most impressed by his patience and care with the elderly customers. 5 star ⭐️

😯 We were thoroughly satisfied with the service. John was very attentive to our needs His friendly approach made it very easy to feel welcomed. What can I say about the food? The chef is doing a great job👌👌👏👏👏 See the big grin on my husbands face after being full with just the starter 😀😀😀

As usual perfect meal, delicious & hot. Very busy but that didn’t matter the servers were brilliant, kept checking if we needed anything.

Welcoming and excellent food. Myself and a friend food the restaurant by chance as somewhere to seek salvation from bad weather and as a chance to have a late breakfast. We were met at the door, welcomed to choose a table of our choice. We choose a small table by the window so we could catch up and watch the world pass us by. Our order was taken quickly and our food arrived quickly. Homemade pancakes were great and possible some of the best fresh I have ever had! Thank you for a lovely experience.

The mixed starters was nice in general the quality of food for main wasn’t great. the calamari wasn’t cooked through the vegetables with the main meal were all soft and not fresh could tell was frozen. I won’t be going back Staff were friendly couldn’t fault them

We can not recommend BEXLEYHEATH restaurant enough. 21st birthday for 22 adults and 9 children. Food and service outstanding . Nothing was too much trouble . All food hot , presentation amazing and food delicious. Even though a big party all food arrived at the same time . And enjoyed by all. A big Thankyou to everyone that was working!9n 22nd December . A credit to the restaurant!!!

The ELTHAM DELICIO MANAGER ( FEMALE) WAS RUDE AND OFFENSIVE INSTEAD OF APOLOGISING ABOUT 30 MINUTE DELAY AND OUR ORDER THROWN AWAY SAID * YOU CAN NO LONGER COME IN HERE* LACKS CUSTOMER SERVICE KNOWLEDGE & NARCISSISTIC.

My husband and I ate at Delicio in Eltham yesterday lunchtime. Bit of a mixed review here... Ok, the staff were polite and friendly, the restaurant was ok, although I do prefer the layout and ambiance in the Bexleyheath restaurant. We ordered two glasses of water, a glass of wine, and a draft lager. The drinks came separately, both glasses of water came first, then the wine a couple of minutes later, then the lager, another two minutes later. I ordered the lamb shank, and my husband ordered the burger and fries. Again, everything was brought out separately. My meal was brought to us first. And I sat there looking at it for around seven to eight minutes whilst we were waiting for my husband's meal!! We found this totally unacceptable. It is still very bad manners for anyone to begin eating until everyone has their meals. Mine was starting to go cold by the time my husband's meal arrived! Both meals were absolutely delicious, good presentation, flavours, and portion sizes. Due to my husband's burger being just about the biggest burger I've ever seen, I finished my meal ahead of him. My husband was still eating when the waitress came to our table and cleared my plate, cutlery etc! Again, as nice as everyone was, this is totally unacceptable! In my humble opinion, I do believe that this is just a training issue. When dining out, it is expected that the drinks all arrive at once, the food arrives together, or as close as humanly possible, and the table is only cleared once everyone has finished eating. We had to ask for dessert, it wasn't offered verbally or with the offer of returning the menu to us. I would also like to make a final observation, that the toilet cubicle in this restaurant was ridiculously tiny, which probably can't be helped, but good grief, replace that toilet seat, it's broken, it's badly damaged, and a bit of cleaning in there wouldn't go a miss either! Regarding the service, I don't think this is a Delicio issue, just this particular one, we had no complaints about the Bexleyheath restaurant at all. We'll definitely be back in Bexleyheath, but probably not in Eltham.

Returned here for lunch with friends. Received a warm welcome and enjoyed some very good food. I had the seafood kebab ,the fish was perfectly cooked and it was a good size portion served with chips and salad,a very high standard.My friends had the chicken shish,we also enjoyed starters. The staff were friendly ,helpful and professional. A stand out restaurant in Bexleyheath where there are many eating places and will continue to return

This is my third time coming to Delicio but first time coming for the lunch menu. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad which was lovely and my friend had the chicken club sandwich. There wasn’t iced coffee on the menu but the waiting staff happily made one for me. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

We ordered a club sandwich and chicken with avocado in ciabatta. We were not expecting it to come with chips for that price .Tasted great,great value for money

It began when we walked through the door, Our reservation was written for today( Sunday at 7pm) and not Saturday at 7pm, like we requested on Thursday, when we rung up. We got moved twice!! When we eventually got seated, We sat there for 20 mins, had to beckon the waiter over. We felt so ignored and unwelcome. We ordered 2 gin and tonics, with ice and a slice. 10 mins later 1 glass turned up without any ice and no slice 😡 We ordered starters, WHOLETAIL scampi and calamari, When the WHOLETAIL scampi, turned up it was NORMAL scampi😡 Of the frozen kind... The steak with peppercorn sauce arrived, The sauce was like concrete. When the bill arrived, we refused to pay the service charge. Because as far as we are concerned we had no service at all 😡😡😡 The first bill was snatched out of my hand, by the very rude waiter, who was wearing trainers, and didnt look like a waiter and had no customer service skills at all. We will never go to this so called restaurant ever again. The worst restaurant in the area. VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.

What brilliant service we received, they bought out a cake and danced for my nan and it absolutely made her night. Great food and a great atmosphere, the 9 of us are already planning on coming back. Would highly rate!!

have visited this chain lots of times , they serve reasonably priced café style food . Its mostly a café with alcohol have visited on a Saturday night and the place was really packed which may affect the service and food . Keep to the simple dishes on menu and its good value

Another friendly and warm welcome from the lovely people at Delicio. Such a nice and relaxed setting and so friendly. Food delicious per the norm. If you’re vegetarian or vegan, the falafel burger is worth a try! If you like your meat, then the mixed grill is worth a try. :)

We hadn't been to Delicio for a while, so were glad to return. The restaurant has had a revamp , and the new decor is very stylish. Our meals were both very tasty: Penne Arrabiata and Mushroom Ravioli- perfectly al dente! The house Chardonnay made a good accompaniment . This is quite local for us, so we shall definitely be back.

My husband and I stopped by on a Sunday evening without a booking but were greeted warmly and given a table. The food was absolutely delicious - I had seafood shish and my husband had the Mediterranean casserole - both at about £18 each and I would like to say again just how delicious it was! Throughout our time there the staff were attentive and friendly. The place itself has a very nice decor and is much bigger than it looks from the outside. Would highly recommend.

First time here as we usually have lunch in the pub on the corner but due to being a chef down and couldn't book us in we decided to try here... Wow!! What a find and what a fantastic lunch we had. Husband had the lamb adana and said it was so tasty and succulent. My mum and I had the chicken shish wrap each and shared a portion of chips, absolutely superb!! Portion sizes very generous and such great value for money. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

We had a delicious meal and cocktails to celebrate Christmas. The staff were so friendly and didn't rush us. We highly recommend this restaurant for fantastic food in a relaxing atmosphere.

We eat here much of the time, my husband is Turkish and a chef, I lived in Turkey 12 years, eaten in many Turkish places around the, area, and this is th e best cooked, most authentic. Been in many that use tomato ketchup as a sauce, and not make the real tomato sauce, the staff are pleasant, great service, alwsys smiling.

We had Sea Bass x2. Lovely fresh food, would recommend. The experience was slightly let down by the staff not wearing any gloves or face masks during Covid-19 times. Straws were also handled without any protection. Otherwise great food.

Honest review of last nights meal. Booked in on the same day for a table of 6 and the lady was really lovely on the phone. Arrived at 7pm to the same lady, all smiles and conversation. The menu is impressive and for someone like me who is only used to wetherspoons food I really enjoyed everything I had and so did my entire family. I had a strawberry daiquiri which was £7.50 the only grumble I’d have is that it was too small as it was so delicious! If you’re looking to come here for a date I’d say book this place up. Truly is a hidden gem.

We have eaten here about 3 times, now. At first I was not do enthusiastic about coming here again but I was pleasantly surprised. I've not had fajitas for a while so for a change I thought I would try the prawn fajitas. First off they served it up with chicken and prawn but I said that I ordered the prawns they promptly took it away and corrected it. I really enjoyed them and can't stop thinking about them. The only thing I would day is you don't get enough wraps and all the dips -guacamole. The waitresses that served us were very good and friendly, too. Will be more happier about eating there again.

Food is ok nothing and the prices are not too bad however was surprised with the £5 service charge for top dinners.

Me and my family were walking on the Broadway at dinner time and decided to try Delicio. Walked in the restaurant where 3 waitresses were all 3 busy setting a table; none acknowledged us. After they finished setting the table, one waitress left, one went behind the counter to dry some glasses and the other one stayed at the table arranging more stuff. In all this time we were standing at the door with a 2 years old girl waiting for someone to notice us. Of course we left and they lost potential clients

This is the best Turkish restaurant for miles. Their Doner and shish is all made on site and tastes so different to the usual rubbish prepared in a shed and sold elsewhere! Staff are friendly, prices reasonable and its recommended!

I haven't visited for a while so was pleasantly surprised at the variety of the menu from omlettes and pasta to Full English Breakfast and grills. I had the classic British breakfast which was reasonably priced and covered the plate.The restaurant was packed and the food was warm and tasty just what was needed on a cold winter day. My partner had a steak and Irish stout pie which was packed with meat, according to her was quite nice and filling.The restaurant was clean and the staff polite and helpful. This is a good restaurant and would recommend it to anyone in Bexleyheath who wants a good meal.

Always seems to be busy so thought we would give it a go decor is really nice but the goldfish bowl feel is odd because the outside tables are so near the window that you feel the customers outside are at your table, great drinks menu food came quick quite tasty yeh it was okayish

Hey, they are not even good in turkish cuisine, what about spaghetti cooked to death with soupy outfit and defrosted, microwaved lamb shank with acidic tomato "sauce" instead slowly cooked kleftiko in thick own juices...dont know why they r getting so many positive reviews over that overcrapped so called food I wouldnt feed my doggie with. Avoid.

Together with my partner we can call ourselves regular customers as we visit Delicio at least 3 times a month. Usually for breakfast during the weekends as they have plenty of breakfast options. Also lunch and dinner menu is worth to try. Their sirloin steak is just perfect and you don't have to spend a fortune. The food and value are amazing.

Me and my family have just come back from a great night at delicio and I have to say the food is fantastic me and 3 others had the delicio kebab and it was really nice If kebabs is not your thing they do other foods like Italian, burgers, fish

We don't know Bexleyheath but happened to be there at lunchtime and chose this restauarant because it looked inviting, had a good menu and was busy! we only wanted a light bite and were pleased to find a devoted menu page. The lamb shish wrap was enormous and packed with succulent lamb pieces with salad. My wife had the biggest jacket potato I have seen in a restaurant, absolutely packed with the tuna mayo plus a big salad. The main courses chosen by our fellow diners looked so good that we have promised ourselves a return journey to sample some!

Huge menu with friendly, efficient staff. Also has a kids menu. We both had different types of kebabs and we very pleased with the flavour and portion sizes. Salad was fresh and tasty, chilli sauce was hot and homemade. Reasonably priced. No room for pudding. We will return!

I visited this lovely little restaurant last night with my friend. The one thing i really appreciate is great service and the gentleman that served us was fab by far the best service I have received in along time so lovely. I changed my order slightly which they very happily accommodated I had the lamb cutlet which was probably one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. Will definately be visiting again

Excellent food and service. The dishes are nicely prepared and presented using fresh ingredients. Pasta dishes and bruschetta with prawns are a favorite with me.

14 of us descending upon this restaurant on a Saturday evening. We were served quickly and received our orders within a reasonable amount of time. All the food was piping hot and very tasty. The selection was exceptional they catered for everyone's needs. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Over price for what you getting . Nothing special , kitchen too slow , waiters are good . Slow service is not waiters fault . Me and my friend went here first time and went we went it atmosphere is nice and clean., Staffs are friendly, food is nice and fast serving.

I go here for lunch a lot as I work close, i have never had one bad meal! So many options I love it here you can’t go wrong when you walk in it’s comfy and still stylish it doesn’t take to long to come the food is all lovely, I’ve had a jacket before that was amazing a lot of the Turkish dishes are fab like the dips with bread , chicken Shish bruschetta etc! Burger is all fresh and home made! Can’t say one bad thing about this restaurant!

Visited here for a meal with teenage grandson. Friendly staff, plenty of choice and huge portions. We ordered a mixed meze for 2. Enough for at least 3/4 people. I had a lamb kofte nicely cooked with plenty of fresh salad as was the donner and lamb shish kebab. Portions were so big none of us could finish our main courses. Probably would miss a starter next time. Pity they do not serve non alcoholic beer, but plenty of choice of soft drinks. Nice coffee as well. Was surprised no Turkish delight with the bill just some rather sticky boiled sweets. But a nice meal.

Had a mixed grill here which I shared with my mate together with a chicken shish. The food was nice - a bit overpriced & also a bit overcooked but we had a nice evening & the staff were lovely. If I could give a good rating I would rather than average!

We visited this restaurant for lunch and we managed a very pleasant meal and a second cup of coffee well inside the all important hour ,the food was tasty and fresh the place itself was clean staff very friendly so all said an easy 4 out of 5 I didn't visit the toilets hence the 4 out of 5 .

Came here with 2 friends for dinner on a Thursday night. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great it had good music on & there were a few birthdays on which always brings a feel good vibe to any restaurant and makes you think this must be a good place if people want to have their birthdays here! Decor is modern & comfy with lots of cushions. Staff seemed nice but didn’t interact with us much. For food we had all had quite late lunches so decided to head to mains apart from one of my friends Nina had hummus & bread. Nina was given a very good amount of warm fresh smelling bread & an excellent portion of very yummy hummus. (We were allowed to try a bit of hers & I did have food envy!) the only problem was Nina had such a good portion she didn’t have much space for her main! That’s never a bad thing!!!

We come here 4 or 5 times a year, and always have a really good meal. Our kids love the chicken shish, and the breakfasts are also very good. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and I'd happily recommend this restaurant.

Had a meal here last night it portion sizes were huge was ok nothing special the menu is far to big to be all freshly cooked, lots of plastic containers being taken to and from the kitchen which got me thinking if a lot of the food was pre brought? Lots of large family groups in for birthdays so they seemed to concentrate more on them. Would I eat here again? Prob but then I would know what to expect , just the usual run of the mill restaurant food

First time at this restaurant, OH accidentally knocked his beer over and they replaced it with no fuss and cleaned up really quickly. Great menu and I had my 3 favourite dishes that I have in most places that are new to me because I use them as a benchmark because they can be so variable.

We enjoyed delicious food at this restaurant vegetable mousaka, Mediterranean casserole & sea bass - all cooked and served superbly. However when the bill came, it was loaded with lots of drinks we had not had! The staff were very apologetic & brought the correct bill. I am sure it was a genuine mistake. It’s made me realise I need to be more vigilant & check the bill properly. Other than that, a very nice restaurant.

Reasonable food, slightly overpriced for what you get. Took ages to be served, some items not available & that was at lunchtime!

I have joined colleagues for a light lunch and very much enjoyed it! Friendly staff, efficient service, quick processing. Good value for money. Light bites are fresh and delicious. Congratulations to the chef!

my partner and I ate here back in February 2018, the food is average, and does not taste of very much, my partner and I have eaten at many Mediterranean restaurant in and around Haringey in London (Probably been spoiled as portion are always large and you receive lots of extras for nothing, bread olives ETC)and have always enjoyed this kind of food.

Nice food, Nice little Restaurant for a day time lunch or an evening meal. Good variety & I have visited a few times & had different meals & they all have been decent.

Only came here for a coffee after shopping with my wife. I saw the food being served to others and thought, why not? I'll ask for a menu. Next thing I know, I have fresh Meze and a generously sized mixed kebab at my table, seasoned perfectly, (I find the shish items to be quite bland at other places). Ideal place for a stop-off lunch or 3-course evening dinner, whichever takes your fancy. Would heartily recommend.

I went here with a friend and it was a lovely experience and there is lots of choice of food here. We sat by the window but there are also seats outside and we found the staff very attentive and pleasant. We paid for a meal and pudding forty pounds and this included soft drinks and service charge and so its not expensive. It looks on to the Broadway and so its nice to see the road and the people passing by. It is a nice place to go for a chat and also the tables are not too near to each other. I also found the toilets clean, It is child friendly.

I am a returning customer and this is my second review of this restaurant, because unlike some deserves a second. We were looking for a good restaurant for a hearty meal in Bexleyheath Broadway, and found this nice restaurant. I ordered the Seafood Shish, which besides having several kinds of fish also had a king prawn and rice and salad (chips is an option). The food was tasty and enjoyable and was easily enough to fill most people up, but I had water and Peroni too. I finished with Sticky Toffee Pudding which was delicious.

I love it here. I’ve never had a bad meal and the portions are always of a really decent size. I went here on Thursday with the Mr and my parents. It is always relaxing and you’re never rushed and the price for the food is really reasonable. What makes this little gem really stand out is the staff - I think they are so lovely and polite and kind and very welcoming indeed. It is my favourite restaurant in Bexleyheath and one of my favourite restaurants overall too. A lovely dining experience.

Lovely relaxing place to eat. A wide variety of food to select from the menu and very reasonable prices. Very friendly staff who look after you the whole evening. A must visit.

Superb starters but main courses not quite so good. Lamb kebab great but too little meat and too much raw onion and salad. Veggie moussaka a bit plain and felt pre-packaged and so disappointing. Formica tables OK but a bit fast food restaurant style. Waiter great. No Turkish wines which for Turkish restaurant a bit surprising.

Me and my Family come here quite a lot and we absolutely love it!! We are all quite picky with food and where we eat but this restaurant is unreal! So much to choose from and the cocktails are beaut!
