Delice De France in Lambeth

Saturday 10th September 2022, Clapham Junction, Platform 14 at 14:45. Server - Young (20's) dark skinned Woman with black braids. In 40 years on this planet, this has to be the worst most incompetent and rude service i have ever encountered and all for a simple large black coffee! I always ask for a Large Americano with 1/4 of the water added to be either cold or just to chuck a couple ice cubes in as i like to drink the coffee quickly but these places always serve the coffee as it if it is heated fresh from a volcano. In an empty place and upon my apparently complex request, i was met with a long pause and then a 'Yeah'...... following that she then said in a very patronising way 'So you want an iced Americano then?' to which i replied politely, 'No, i just want a black Americano but with a couple ice cubes in so it cools quicker'. Once again after a blank stare (followed by an eye roll this time) she disappeared out the back. My Girlfriend commented to me about how rude she was (but not within earshot of anyone else). There was another employee there that seemed like a youngster/Trainee that was just getting on with his job. He did nothing wrong. She then returned looking miserable and disinterested and dumped the Coffee there which i then paid for and as i picked it up, it was literally freezing cold. As we were expecting a Train i just left thinking it'd hopefully be a bit warmer inside. It wasn't.... She essentially just made a double espresso and put it under the cold tap in the kitchen out the back to fill it up. There was a Starbucks on the other end of the row which had many people in and now i understand why. If you do not like customer service roles or at least, can not endure them with a hint of courtesy then don't do the job! I speak as previously having worked as an Assistant Manager at a Restaurant for 7 years. An abysmal experience from start to finish.

Ordered one coffee she got order wrong gave me two when I told her she got order wrong she gave me attitude and said I didn’t order my drink properly even tho I work in a coffee ship my self never get drinks from there again and if you know what’s good for you nore would you

Traté de pedir una bebida caliente a las 5:15 pm hoy. La señora detrás del mostrador fue brusca, de hecho, bastante grosera. Ella dijo que estaba cerrando y que había limpiado la máquina y que ahora estaba cerrada. 10 minutos después todavía no ha reaparecido. Creo que se está escondiendo en la trastienda, así que no necesita servir a nadie. Hay tres personas esperando en el mostrador para ser atendidas. ¡No va a suceder! Ahora se han ido.

The steak slices are great if you're a vegan, they're meat-free. Better to go hungry than pay these ridiculous prices for such poor quality.

Very poor quality potato wedges. Dried out, old, tasteless. This should never be sold to customers. In my opinion, lack of quality control. I guess if the rest is not sold today , it will still be there tomorrow.

Got a Pizza for £5.99. They did NOT take cash in form of a £50 note. Forcved me to pay by credit card.

Euston Delice de France. I went to order couple of croissants and a coffee but the lady over here instead of taking order she started checking out what I'm wearing and how I look. She made me repeat my order thrice still missed my coffee and at last she shoved paper packed croissants in the end. Who even employees such crap staff. Never ever visiting this or any other their shops. Crap staff

Last I checked a latte had frothed milk... if I wanted a cup of coffee with milk I would have probably made it at home. Slow confused staff.

My regular coffee spot on my commute to Croydon has nose-dived in service. Ques of customers just walk away empty handed as 2 useless staff stand by the till and no coffee being served. Where's that management in this place? Bring back the girl who used to run it efficiently a few weeks ago !

Food= well below average, price= ridiculous, customer service= WHAT customer service? No customers when I went in. Three staff standing at till point chatting. One looked at me and I asked for two ham/cheese croissants. She shoved them in a paper bag and handed them to me, no smile on her face and pointed to the card reader whereupon I made my payment. I smiled at her and thanked her...received no smile or words in return. I think I'd rather starve next time!

Thought I’d treat myself to a cheese and ham croissant...it tasted as if it’d been standing there all day(probably had) and got charged £5 for it! I shouldn’t have bought it but I thought for that price it must have gold inside...but I was met by a Luke warm dodgy croissant. How can London Waterloo station tolerate this? The amount of ppl going through that station and paying a pretty penny I’m sure they can get better tasting food and perhaps if they lowered their shop rental rates they wouldn’t have to charge so much for a dodgy croissant!

Got a steak slice for my train ride, the steak in side was burnt. It cost £3.60 and i threw it away. DONT WASTE YOU MONEY!!!! Dissapointed.

Coffee tasted burnt and bitter all together. Like it was made with the same ground coffee used for the 3 cups ahead of it. only forced the coffee down my throat cos i needed the caffeine else i would have thrown it in the bin. Didn't help that it was a large as well. Fast service for a disgusting coffee is not worth it.

Compré un rollo de salchichas para asombrosa 3 libras. 59. Apenas tibia y no tiene sabor. La versión greggs a un tercio del precio es diez veces mejor. Y más de 2 libras por una botella de agua. Por favor evitar y probar otros locales o un supermercado local, que sin duda la próxima vez.

Plataformas de ferrocarril son lugares miserables y el café aquí en East Croydon se suma a la experiencia. Tienes imágenes de Francia desde el nombre pero que son severamente decepcionado. Situado en una sala de espera de la pantalla no parece limpio y fresco. El servicio es sin una sonrisa pero, admitámoslo, muchos trabajadores son sin uno también. Al menos el chocolate caliente era bastante reconfortante pero realmente tienes que ser un público cautivo para comer allí.

Croissant with cheese for £5 is bad enough but when it's barely edible it's unforgivable. The croque madame is even worse. Hope this chain goes out of business soon.

had their ham and cheese croissant. Which was just perfect. It was crispy and light just like its supposed to be. Looking forward to trying other flavors.

Served with one of the best cups of decaf soya coffee I have had for a long time. I will be back for more

Así, me decidí a comprar un poco de agua antes de subir a mi tren. Me cobraron 1 libras. 80 por una botella de 500 ml de agua buxton. Son escandalosos. Entiendo que un kiosco estación de tren quizás más caro que su supermercado local o tienda de la esquina. . , pero esto es sólo tomar el mick. Incluso el chico que me atendió hace 6 diciendo que acordó por £1. Si las empresas desean los clientes estafa. . Y prepárate para los clientes libres. . Sobre pagar nunca más de 80 p en una estación de tren antes. . . . .

Una botella pequeña de agua £1. 89! Una de queso y tocino croissant tan seca que debe haber estado allí durante 24 horas, ya que estaba a sólo 10:30 de la mañana. Nombre francés elegante, pero el hecho es que la francesa no se detenía para esta basura. No sé por qué lo hice. Nunca más.

Compramos lo que debería haber sido una de pollo y champiñones pastas y cuando fui a comer estaba frío de piedra no es la mejor para el pollo así que lo tiró lejos

Visited the one at Euston Station, total joke £3 for a warm on the outside soggy roll and cold sliver of bacon inside. Don't go near this place, shocking value for money.

I visited the place on the 23rd Feb at 08:30. I was served by a VERY grumpy guy! The other guy that was working there was not friendly as well! It looked as if I was served by robots!Then on the train I took out my panini, and the way it was presented was awful!!!! I have attached a photo of it.. Looked like the guy grabbed it, just squashed it in half and put it in the bag.. Disgusting :SIf it doesn't fit, cut it in half properly using a knife! Can't believe I paid £4 for this panini...

I visited the Victoria branch. Incredibly expensive for what it is! I asked for a panini, and thought it'd be grilled in the sandwich maker they have, however it came out soggy and limp as if it'd been microwaved!

One of the many food concessions at Clapham Junction station, Delice de France offers coffee and filled croissants, plus the usual range of patisserie and snacks. It's a welcome refuge from the bustle of the platform; it has become almost a ritual to stop in here for coffee and a croissant any time I'm travelling to Brighton, Worthing, Littlehampton or anywhere served by platform 13.The place itself is tiny enough that you could easily miss it, it has seating for maybe 6-8 customers, and is unsurprisingly quite busy. Service is friendly, and both the coffee and the croissants have consistently been good over the course of a dozen or more visits. Nothing special, but it is definitely at the better end of station cafes.
