Deli Lunch Sandwich Bar in Aberdeenshire

Stopped here for a quick bite for lunch on Monday 29th March 2021. I had egg mayo and onion sandwich and my partner had a cheese and tuna sandwich, both were on white bread. They were made fresh and we sat in the square to eat them. Absolutely delicious. Egg Mayo tasted delicious and the bread was fresh. Plenty of filling in both sandwiches. Tuna and cheese was delicious also. Will definitely be back! Lovely woman served us, very friendly.

A great find after the endless queues of more prominent establishments nearby. Small with only 10 seats, but friendly service with a good range of tasty lunch items all fresh made. We had soup and panninis and finished with a mug of decent tea. Just what the doctor ordered and all for £12.00! What is not to like.

Every so often I stop in past here for my lunch. The past few times I have been disappointed. Last week, however, I was more disappointed than usual. My panini was burnt black, squashed completely flat and had almost no filling. It was so bad I threw it in the bin. I’m not sure I will be back.

My experience visting the deli lunch was a 7/10 untill myself & my partner went to visit the other week. We ordered our food as we usually do being locals to Stonehaven. Only to be discovered with 6 months out of date salsa. When we told possibly the owner(slim women with brown hair) along side a very bad attitude.. she grabbed the plate of food we paid for and remade us another plate along side a new bottle of salsa that thankfully was in date.. we felt so awkward sitting eating our food there. We never even got an apology for serving us out of date food. Maybe a little communication with your customers wouldn’t go a mess and realised when you’ve messed us maybe do something nice for them to make them aware you know your in the wrong and that your sorry. Instead of grabbing our plates to then get your other employe to basically throw the new plate of food down on the table. Will not be returning sadly......

Un lugar sencillo con muy buen precio. Muy casero, hemos almorzado y nos Han tratado muy bien y rápido. Hemos pagado 10£ por dos cafés, in sandwich y un Plato de baked potato con ensalada y alubias. A nice modest place with a very good value. Homemade, we have had lunch ( baked potato with beans, sandwich and two coffees 10£) really nice people and quickly service

I go here all the time usually for my breakfast, bacon roll and mug of tea. The staff are really friendly and they serve the best cuppa in town. 🤗

Very disappointing. Cafe au lait had no milk, only one tea spoon for the sugar bowl and between three drinks, hot chocolate was completely tasteless, we had to ask for milk. We initially were asked what we wanted over the counter when we were sat down in the seats.... We had to shout our orders over to the staff member. They have an array of "best cafe" awards displayed in the window, but I really struggle to see how this is possible. Poor service, disgusting poor standard of drinks, and the bars of chocolates the children had were melted. Will not be visiting here again. Can't find anything good to say. We weren't even able to order chips as the fryer was broken!

As I currently work in Stonehaven, with an hour lunch break can leave you limited to options to get food quickly. There are only so many times you can visit Greggs. So my colleague recommended the deli to me. It's handy as it's close to the bus stop so I know where to find it. There are so many options for fillings, any fillings with chicken are my favourite so there was a lot to choose from. There are a couple of tables in there so when I visited, I was able to get a seat. I chose a Sweet Chilli Chicken panini and Diet Coke and it was really tasty. Will be sure to come back next lunch break I have to get away from overload at Greggs.

Nothing for vegans but whether a vegetarian or otherwise, disappointing and nothing inventive on the menu. But pleasant enough place to visit and probably the best Stonehaven has to offer.

My partner and I had a wee while to wait on the bus so we decided to come in here for a drink and a bite to eat. It's simple and basic but very tasty. The value was brilliant! The lady was very lovely. I'll definitely be coming here again.

I've stopped at this deli on several occasions. I've found the food great and very reasonable with a great choice for all tastes. The staff are also outstanding, they chat away with all the customers which is good and sets it apart from some of the other local sandwich shops, keep up the good work girls.

I absolutely adore this place, me and my partner used to come in here every morning after nightshift before we got the bus home and it was always fantastic! The coronation chicken paninis are to die for and the prices are great too! The manager is lovely also and she makes you feel so welcome.

Best sandwich and coffee in town. Can't beat it! Friendly and on first name terms! A regular for the above reasons and general awesome food

Great place for a sandwich and a coffee. Food was fab, coffee was just how I like it and the staff were attentive. 5* ! I see now why it one the award for best takeaway in Scotland !!

What I love about this delightful is that the owner is a obvious foodie. Fresh ingredients put together in sandwiches with quirky titles .Modern eating habits are changing and the deli caters for people who don't necessarily want scottish fare.Prices are competitive and reasonable.

Had a sandwich while waiting for the bus with 20 mins to spare. Average sandwich, regular fare, price was ok. If you are stuck waiting for a bus and is feeling peckish,this is the place to go and you will not miss your bus as you can see any approaching one's.

Was going to the craft shop, and went into the deli to get a chicken mayo baguette, was really good! Staff are brilliant. Could tell the baguette was freshly made to order, definitely going back!!

Dropped by this deli in stonhaven and was delighted with the service I got, I had a wrap which was was well filled and very fresh

Great little shop, great food, great staff, would highly recommend to anyone in the town of Stonehaven or people just going through, great place for a high quality lunch
