Never disappoints. Excellent spicy chicken and bacon caesar salad with a chocolate brownie to follow.

Eaten here a few times and enjoyed it. Today I ordered a brown bread sandwich with egg and cucumber and a Smokey Joe wrap and tea for 2. £16.25. I realise food prices have risen but not even a bit of lettuce, tomato or coleslaw on the plate. When I asked I was told it was extra! For goodness sake how much is a bit of garnish isn’t going to cost a fortune. I’d think twice about coming back sorry. The food by the way was good.

Best coffee in Newry, staff are helpful & friendly, food yummy. Really enjoyed the Iced Mocha coffees during the good weather. Prices have gone up but so has every restaurant in N. Ireland.....a Deli Lites treat is worth it!

I got two lattes, one caramel and they charged almost £9 for the two this is more than £1 per coffee than anywhere else in Newry.

I’ve been in a few times in recent weeks, once for sandwiches and once for coffee, sandwiches and soup. I found the cappuccino excellent. At £4.5 the sandwiches are well filled and very tasty and it was very busy each time I visited - subway it ain’t, thankfully. I was disappointed on my last visit when I ordered a vegetable soup & sandwich deal as part of a larger order; now it’s been a long time since I had this deal and I was expecting a large soup portion, but instead I got this half (or less) portion tub that was insubstantial especially as my sandwich was meatless. I certainly won’t do that again and it’s ungenerous. No doubt the owners see it differently but as the customer who makes pay days a deal should be a good deal for the customer. It’s this pinching approach that will make me think twice and look to go elsewhere. The staff are always friendly and food service is very good. They’ve a good one way in/out system to cope around the hopefully diminishing Wu flu but only a small queue can form inside and I’m judging this from dry days.

We went into Delilites this morning for quick coffee. We grabbed a freshly baked raspberry & white chocolate scone which was delicious & light washed down by the best coffee in town. The staff were very friendly. Keep up the good work 👍

We had such a lovely breakfast this morning from delilites Monaghn street that I had to share my experience with you. I went for the breakfast bap on a lovely brioche bap was so tasty egg cooked to perfection sausage and bacon was just amazing the girl suggested a lovely chilli jam to go along side and it was the icing on the cake!! My partner had one of each of your homemade scones apple with cinnamon and raspberry with white choc deffo the best i had tasted ever!! So fresh and moist inside and you could really taste the flavours. We got in at the right time as the girl at counter had just taking some apple and rhubarb cake buns from oven so we also got one to try and oh my goodness it's was delicious we will deffo be back, well done to you chef and staff. 👌

My Wife and I enjoyed breakfast here one morning. Food was excellent, staff very friendly, and the cafe/deli was very clean.

My friend and I went to delilites on 22nd September for a breakfast/brunch. The service was amazing, food and drinks came quickly. We really enjoyed our meals and will most certainly be back! The restaurant was lovely and clean and good social distancing measures in place. Thank you! We will certainly be back!

Staff and management have to be highly commended for their very efficient and effective operation in place during Covid-19 restrictions. We visited today and customers were socially distancing with sanitation in place. Food was individually wrapped and prepped according to your requirements. Number allocation meant you were waited on at your table where the most amazing fresh panini and bread filled to your liking was delivered along with piping hot brocoli and cheese soup. The sandwiches ooze that freshness and are of a very high standard. Coffee is made to your liking - great strength and fabulous aroma! There was no pressure to move on. Staff was attentive from the prep, till and waiting staff - all excellent! We would highly recommend this very reasonably priced golden gem in the heart of Newry 👍👍👍👍👍

As a regular customer I felt I had to leave a review I would visit on a regular bacis and most Sundays I would be in with my wife and 2 grand children the food is always lovely and the staff are very friendly and helpful nothing is to much trouble

Visit deli-lites at least 5 days a week food and coffee is first class. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Cant recommend enough.

Always love a wee trip to delilites the coffee is the best in town and they always have nice wee treat to go along with. Take my 1year old with me and they always entertain her and bring her bits of fruit and even a wee book to keep her occupied while mummy and daddy indulge in their delicious food. The girls really give us first class service no matter how busy they are. Thanks girls ❤️

Called in for a quick breakfast on route to Dublin . We ordered the Irish breakfast coffee and tea . Staff very quick and attentive and friendly.. coffee and tea came out quickly.. fry soon to follow .. Coffee was lovely as was the tea . All in all quite enjoyable. Only slight critique the fry was on the greasy side .

Food was nice but sometimes staff add things to food that weren't actually on the list of ingredients which isn't great for first timers. I got a burrito bowl and seen there was no tomato in the list but when I got home there was bits of tomato in it (allergic) had to go in the bin. Otherwise they are very catering when you ask for things to be changed!

Waited for 30 minutes for our food to arrive. The restaurant was empty when we got there. We got our coffee but 30 minutes later the food still hadn't arrived . Only ordered a sandwich. Lots of staff working but something went wrong on this occasion.

Friday 7th got breakfast Bap.Discusting for price. Saugages were off. Well off

Arrived in confused,could nut remember if there was table service. Three workers were chatting and ignored me. I asked another passing waitress and she said table service yes.Sat down and waited a while. A different worker eventually asked me if I was being served?She ignored two other people seated before me.I ordered veg broth with wheaten bread and tap water.Came quickly but was luke warm. Taste was really nice and soup contained potato and was whole and not liquidised, and the sweet wheaten bread yummy. I did not complain that the soup was luke warm.Place is busy and clean.Except for service I recommend it. At 3.95 its a good stop gap meal.

We found this by accident and it was an absolute find!We had lunch of cheese steak melt and goats cheese melt with sides of couscous and coleslaw - every mouthful was delicious. The coffee and brownie we had to follow were the best we've had in a long time.It was very busy but service was prompt, very friendly, efficient and helpful.If you are in the area definitely worth calling in.

I couldn't help but notice recent review ref early morning coffee in Delilites.I myself have been calling into Delilites for many years and I don't even have to ask for my order,the staff know me and what I take.Not to many places offer that kind off customer knowledge.So that's what I call excellent service.Only too offend people are to quick to comment on a one off event which doesn't truly reflect great coffee great service keep it up Delilites

Call in here regularly for lunch and coffee. Last week I got a lovely mezze salad on special. Full of flavour and so tasty! Staff are always friendly and always happy to help. Can get quite busy at lunch times but nothing more than your usual lunch time rush you'd get elsewhere. The salad last week was definitely worth a short wait!

Put it this way; I have gone to Deli Lites to get a coffee before starting work at 8am and there are never many people there. The staff casually continue conversation among themselves and don't bother to look up to see if there are customers. When they do, it takes them about 10 minutes to make a simple coffee that should take all of 2 minutes. No customer service; each time I was rudely handed my coffee without being looked.

I called in today to grab two slices of white bread toasted for my wee daughter . I was utterly disgusted when i went to the till to pay I was charged £2.00 a pound a slice.. the lady who seemed like a manager made the price up on the spot. This is the type of grab all society we are living in today.. needles to say they will never recieve my custom again. The lady who operates the warrenpoint franchise is much friendlier..

Mexican fries are to die for and Korean beef salad fantastic hubby had the vegan salad and said it was very good we were too stuffed for cake but they looked amazing i’ll be coming here again coffee and tea came to £22 well worth it I’ll be back in newry next month and will treat my kids to lunch here

Great place, friendly, helpful staff and lovely food

Ate here Saturday 6th October whilst shopping in the centre. The only negative was the massive queue which took ages to get through however the food was well worth it. We had the most delicious muffins, tray bakes and tea. Would de return everything was fresh and tasty

It wasn’t for me I asked for the soup but first I asked if it was all blended and I was told yes however when it came out it was more like a chowder I explained to the girl I couldn’t eat it she wasn’t sure as to why but took it back my husband got a wrap and my son got a sandwich both were average nothing to talk about my young daughter got sausage rolls and toast again it was just ok staff were lovely but it wasn’t for us however it was very busy so I guess it’s down to personal taste wouldn’t bad mouth the place but won’t be going back again x

We’ve just left DeliLites on Monaghan Street after having Sunday Morning breakfast. We ordered the Breakfast Sharing Platter and it was amazing. Great value for money, presented beautifully, tastes fabulous - no need to eat again today with the amount of food on the platter. Cheaper than ordering two separate breakfasts. Staff were great. Really polite and friendly, especially the wee smiley girl that served us! Can’t wait for the next Sunday breakfast there already. Only sorry now we didn’t take a photo to show you but we were too busy devouring the food.

Myself and my wife visit Deli Lites in Monaghan Street, Newry on a regular basis. It's the pleasant atmosphere and the food that attracts us here. There is comprehensive menu to choose from. We recommend for breakfast the 'Advocado on Sourdough' or wheaten bread with poached eggs which are done to perfection. The chili relish that comes with this dish complement the poached eggs.

I visited DeliLites on Monaghan Street last Saturday with my husband and 3 kids. As always the waitresses were so attentive and patient with my children. I ordered the burrito bowl, my husband had the smokey joe wrap and kids boxes. The food was delicious and well priced for the portion sizes. The workers are so friendly and always smiling, always an enjoyable visit.

Visited here on a Sunday afternoon with 5 friends. We ordered 3 of the breakfast sharing platter because I had it once before and it was great.

I've been a regular since this local chain opened and they continue to provide quality, value, great food and friendly service. Well known for the house speciality of spicy chicken, great in a sandwich or as a Caesar salad. Great punchy coffee. Free WiFi. In the centre of town with free parking around the corner. The soup sandwich special is great value. Very busy for both sit in and take away at lunchtime.

Enjoyed a peri peri salad and sour dough toast while my friend had the veggie salad which included lemon feta, avocado, and couscous. A little pricey but always lovely.

Excellent options and good service

Visited yesterday with my sister and our kids, and like every other time we visit the service was great! The girls in delilites are really friendly, Its so nice to be greated with a smile! It goes along way :) Sometimes the staff may be under pressure but nothing is too much for them, you can clearly see they work very hard and don't get enough credit for that. Food was really tasty and it came out pretty quick, coffee is delicious too. So much so we had another coffee after our food, oh and a bun too ;) A bit expensive got but also a great place to catch up with a coffee and very child friendly too so its worth it in my opinion.

Received extremely friendly customer service as well as the shop being very clean and the food being exceptional, I will definitely be back for another soup and sandwich, great value thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Called in this morning for breakfast and i am disappointed to say that the staff in here are a disgrace. We made our way to a table opposite the counter. Staff made eye contact but didn’t attempt to come a give us a menu never mind take an order. The staff seemed to rather stand by the till talking. The place wasn’t busy. We waited 10 minutes and left. Fortunately we went across the road to McCooeys, difference in customer service was clear to be seen we were met by friendly staff who gave us and menu and took our order within 5 minutes. The breakfast was amazing!! I wouldn’t be back to Deli Lites any time soon

I’m usually mooching for good deals and the last time I was here a takeaway soup & sandwich averaged £4.50.

3 times in a row now I've ordered a sandwich to go, been told to go round to the til and pay and then they've just forgotten about me, left standing there like a fool for 20 minutes, and then after the long wait, on two of those occasions, when i finally did receive my sandwich, it was not what i ordered
