Nice place to grab something different for lunch. Service was very great and very thoughtful, will be back!

The food is absolutely delicious. Very good environment to sit and relax, enjoy the food and also can sit down with my laptop and work. The owners Rosa and Francisco has done a great favour to Newcastle by bringing in delicious Venezuelan flavour to us. Thank you guys. I would recommend everyone to try this place at least once.

Loved this place. Best Venezuelan food spot in Newcastle and lovely staff Edit after a year: Had the plantains with cheese and the new caraqueña bowl (plantains, 2 arepas, meat, avocado and cheese). Amazing new menu choices!

Fantastic Venezuelan food! We got two types of arepas, the pulled chicken stew and and a pulled chicken stew with cheese, and both were big, flavourful, filling. We also got a side of yuca fritas with guasacasa which was so so good. We tried the traditional drink, papalon con limon which is sort of similar to still lemonade but better, out of this world and so refreshing on a hot day. We will definitely come back to try their other dishes.

Don’t let the plain shop decor put you off - Had lunch here, Chicken Arepa and Pabellon which was very tasty and filling. Generous portioning. Went on to have chocolate and toffee churros for dessert - probably one of the best churros I’ve had!!

It was my first time trying Venezuelan food and it didn't disappoint me. Delicious and tasty. The staff are friendly. Overall it's worth coming and I'm coming soon.

Do yourself a favour and don't sleep on this place - get down for some amazing, crisp and fresh empanadas, or a ridiculously flavoursome arepa (the pork is especially good)

Super friendly spot in the heart of town. We had hot drinks, and churros (with chocolate and toffee sauce). Everything was delicious. The rest of the menu looked great too. We will definitely return to try the various 'arepa' choices. Thank you for a very warm welcome.

Churros were absolutely fresh and delicious. The nutella sauce over the churros was sufficiently well tossed. This was one of the best place to have churros. Moreover, the churros were bigger in size. Will be visiting again soon. The staff/owner was very kind and so friendly. He was so polite while speaking.

Best Venezuelan restaurant in the north of England, incredible service

The atmosphere is average, the service more than mediocre, I felt like they were doing me a favor by serving me the food that is not cheap, the best thing is that the churros are the worst I have tried since I have been in the United Kingdom, some advice yes They go through London, stop by Candem town to try authentic churros, I don't recommend it at all. I prefer to continue buying them at Lidl.

Definitely an underrated restaurant. The owners are very friendly and nice. Their specialty churros are delicious but their arepas and empanadas are also delicious. They also serve pretty decent chips Overall a great place to have some unique food.

The pulled beef is the best ive ever had, I couldn't recommend it more.

Big plate😂!! I have to ask for a takeaway box as it’s actually fit as two meals for me. It’s my first time trying Venezuelan food and it’s yummy! Anyway, the service was great and the owners are very nice and friendly.

The arepas and empanadas are excellent. If you've never tried them you should. They seem to put more emphasis on the churros but it's the savoury food that are the main attraction for me.

Very friendly and welcoming lady and delicious product. Much better to sit comfortably and eat properly from an extensive menu than eating churos walking in the street.

Deli Churros serves a range of Venezuelan small dishes. The menu focuses on arepas and of course churros, but there are also empanadas and some specials like meaty platters if you're looking for a larger meal, or something to share. There's also a good choice of drinks including hot cafe drinks, soft drinks, fresh juices and homemade Venezuelan lemonade. The arepas are fresh, tasty and packed with filling. The churros are very good too. There are bottles of Tabasco on the tables inside for those who like to add a bit of heat. The prices are not cheap, but not too excessive either. Inside there is plenty of seating including bar stools at the window for those who want to people-watch. The decor is basic but the space is clean and bright, and there are some nice houseplants dotted around. The owner is friendly and provides service with a smile!

Popped in for food with the wife. Lovely service, perfectly sized portions and the flavours were fantastic. Staff were super friendly and courteous and it made it all the better. Can’t wait to come back again.

One of my favourite places for food in town! Best place ever for churros, empanadas and arepas! Everything is so delicious! Definitely recommend coming here! My favourite thing here are the chicken or beef empanadas with the guasacaca sauce! The service is amazing, the people are very nice! Best food and best vibes 🙌

Visited today with my 3 children ages 2, 8 & 9. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The food was great and the children also enjoyed their lunch. We will definitely go back again.

Delicious food, excellent service and atmosphere!

Only rating as someone who had churros and a latte, but the churros were really good. We shared 6 of the cinnamon sugar ones which were hot and fresh, fragrant with cinnamon. We found the staff to be lovely and friendly. I don't want to knock a star off for this, but I'd really recommend getting a milk thermometer for the milk frothing. I was pleased to hear beans being freshly ground for my latte, but the too hot milk spoiled it a bit, not only with a slightly burnt tongue but also with that overheated milk flavour once it cooled enough to drink. About 65ºC is what you're after and there's no shame (or massive price involved) in using a thermometer. :)

Really enjoyed this place. My first venture into Venezuelan food at this simple cafe. - arepa caraqueña: so tasty, rich and meaty. - empanada: crispy and delicious. -churros: huge portion, fluffy and crunchy - frescolita: like a sweet irn bru soda The owners are very friendly.

Hemos probado las arepas y la yuca frita y estaban riquísimas. Recomiendo 100% la arepa vegana. ¡Volveremos sin duda! We tried the arepas and the fried yuca. Both of them were excellent. I really recommend the vegan arepa. We will definitely come back!

Absolutely delicious food and incredible service. The place is perfectly placed in city center. We had arepas for our lunch. Super quick and the arepas were amazing. Very generous serving as well ☺️. They are local so it's a small business which is great to help towards to. Wide variety of drinks as well, will recommend the papelón con limón which is a drink known from Venezuela (south American) I will be coming often here. Ran by lovely couple from Venezuela. Tried churros with cinnamon sugar and was tasty. They are at Newcastle Quayside on Sundays.

Excellent service, orders delivered on time.

This place doesn't exist. Been here once, there is nothing. But this brand has an outlet at Sunday Quayside Market, have to ask them where there real store is.
