Firstly at the till we were asked several times for our order? I ordered the shawarma and asked for some bread with it. I was told I could not have bread but I could have toast. Then when the order was put through I was told that the only did Shawarma on a weekday and not at the weekend even though the menu said weekend. So I ordered the fishmonger wrap. At the table the server said‘sorry we have no fish finger wraps’and I laughed telling her about not having shawarma. Her reply was’oh we have plenty of that!’ I asked if I could have some bread and she said’of course I can get you a roll. The shawarma was cold so had to be returned. What an awful experience will never return or recommend

Disgusted by mistreated staff bts, poor management, some workers don’t do enough causing staff who actually work hard to leave. The bar has changed with food prepackaged. Disappointing. Please employ workers that are willing to work as a team and don’t walk off having a chat and return the deli counter to how it was originally. Can only expect the deli counter to be removed completely from M&S. Cannot believe this is how M&S in BLUEWATER are running.

I am informed that the rules in place by the management for the staff are ridiculous. Some don't get an opportunity for their breaks. Strict water rules. Not allowed to wear gloves when preparing food, which tends to put off people from eating in the first place. The atmosphere seems non-existent, probably due to the prepacked food. Sort your management as they seem to not realise that a few of their workers (two boys in particular) are sometimes having a casual chat whilst the actual hard workers are doing most of the work.

Popped in for a spot of lunch whilst shopping primarily because time was limited and it was convenient. The experience itself is pleasant enough although choice is limited but broad enough to satisfy all. I ordered a ploughman’s and was told there was no scotch egg available with it; rather than be offered an alternative I had to request it and the service in general wasn’t with a smile. The food itself was good though - we had a club sandwich too - and the portion sizes were good.

Bluewater shopping centre has no shortage of eating houses from the likes of KFC through to Loch Fyne! You get the likes of Cafe Rouge, Bills, Zizzi etc. There are smaller independent eateries serving Indian, Lebanese, Speciality Pies, Chinese and so on! So why do we almost always end up in the M&S Deli. For starters it's convenient while shopping. They also have a health concius fairly balanced menu which actually shows the calories for their dishes. It also is a very pleasantp to sit and not just eat but also indulge in either a glass of champagne, prosecco, beer or wine! The menu is limited but what's on offer would please almost everyone including vegetarians! We both chose the Prawn, Crab and Avocado salad which was plentiful and simply divine coming in at 288 calories! Other dishes tried in the past were Posh Lobster Brioche and Posh Welsh Rarebit! How amusingly and wonderful! Finally if you want a good meal served without all the fuss and bother but reasonably priced lunchtime dishes, then look no further! Would we go there again? If Carol never ever went there again, M&S shares would rapidly tumble!

Bluewater has many dining options which perhaps explains why it was easy to get a seat at this M&S cafe when usually they're packed out. The layout is a bit confusing for the uninitiated I.e order hot drinks at the payment area and collect from behind. Due to its warehouse type layout, d searching the area for seating is easy. There are seats in the wrap around window area overlooking the main mall entrance or car park but most are In the centre. Food/drinks/service are what you'd expect from M&S and tables are cleared/cleaned promptly unlike at a lot of their competitors.

We always used to come to the Deli Bar for lunch. Had a bad experience last year here with chicken schnitzel last year as it had obviously been cooked in a microwave oven. Thought we would give it another go but disappointed yet again. I had steak and chips and asked for medium. It came out really well done and I could not finish it. My husband ordered a club sandwich which was not club but just two slices of bread. Will not be coming here again. Especially when you see staff with their mobile phones out.

Having had good experience elsewhere with this style of outlet in M&S we thought a quick drink and snack Very disappointed with the Nuba of GF options, especially as the staff were really unsure what was in fact GF, have offered bread as an option and cookie dough mousse - they really should know better In the end three drinks only - what a disappointment,

As a regular visitor to Bluewater, I often pop into M&S for my lunch or early dinner. The deli bar is great, with a fantastic menu, presentable and tasty good and the ever popular "bubbles" to accompany your meal. 4pm-6pm deal is perfect! Well worth a visit, forget about the other restaurants, if you want a quick bite to eat. Downside, it is chilly, you will need a jumper or warm clothing as air con above head and the fact that the deli is positioned near the chiller units is not great! Staff are lovely and are highly commended on their great attitudes, helpfulness.

The gf decided she need new shoes on a cold Tuesday night in may and off we had to go to blue water . We got the after seven and travel in through m&s and had seen the deli and champagne counter a few times but never stopped on this occasion we decided to try it out . The set up is counter with about 24 stools around three sides it is pretty well done and a nice set up . The only downside it is quite cold there as it is situated near all the chilled food We ordered just mains and two cappuccinos the gf ordered a chicken cesar salad that came in a large bowl plenty of salad and chicken and dry bacon that she liked a lot, I ordered a garlic chicken schitznel that came with a potato salad crispy bacon and watercress which was pretty good and the chicken was well cooked with a nice taste of garlic . The bill came to around £23 pounds which was good for the amount of food we got . We definitely visit again .

We haven't been here for a while, but were in Bluewater late on a Saturday and decided to have our dinner here. We immediately noticed that it was chilly, but decided to stay, however I kept my coat on the entire time. My wife had the seafood platter which she loves, I had the ploughman's which was very good too, but way too filling for me. The amount of cheese, ham, scotch egg and pork pie you get could feed two. We also had the great value Cava add on, which was something like £2 each. It really is superb value, and great food, they just need to sort out the temperature.

As the deli bar is in the middle of the store, it is easy to spot. However, there is no fixed spot to stand at while waiting for a vacant seat. We were there for ten minutes, spotted a couple vacating their seats and got looked at with evil stares because two other people ( who arrived after us) were standing in what they decided was the designated 'spot'. At no time did a member of staff suggest we had to wait in a particular place. I would never push In front of anyone, so it put a dampener on what was otherwise a good lunch. The crab and prawn salad was lovely, light yet filling. The lobster roll was gorgeous but could benefit from a side serving of salad or crisps. All in all it was good, but please sort the queuing system out to avoid disgruntled stares from other diners.

Wanted an early supper. Soup was reheated in microwave and even after 15 minutes still up drinkable. Roast chicken also microwaved and therefore overheated and dried out, the turkey breast from the carvery was cold when it should have been hot. It was tasteless and a complete waste of money.

We has a seat by the window with good views out over the lake. All in all a very pleasant afternoon and good value for money.

This M & S was great. Got a window seat overlooking the lake etc. Service was prompt and efficient. One heck of a difference to our Northampton restaurant which feels like a station waiting room. Hot drinks and pastries was also just the tic.

We regularly come for a late breakfast it's a nice atmosphere and really good food. Sometimes service can be slow and sometimes they run out of certain food (despite being in the middle of the food section of m&s). Lunch is great too and the sharing platters. Great for a chilled catch up.

Wife and I decided to stop and try for breakfast on Easter Saturday whilst shopping. Still early so no problem with being served. I ordered a "Full Marks Breakfast" with latte and my wife wanted substituted the bacon for a sausage sandwich and ;"fresh" orange juice. Simple enough you may think - however although the nervous young waiter was keen, he still managed to confuse what my wife ordered with what I ordered, and we had to confirm several times what we wanted whilst he rang it up on the till. My wife's sandwich was a little on the dry side, my breakfast was ok if a little underwhelming, with quite small portions (1 small poached egg, 1 flat mushroom, 2 slices bacon, black pudding) - and for a price of £6.95 I was expecting more, However, the drinks were something else again. The nervy waiter asked how my latte was, and then exclaimed - it was the third time he had tried to make it. (Not much you can respond to that) Now I know there is not that much space in the deli bar, but I was disappointed to see the "fresh" orange juice poured from an already opened carton lying haphazardly off to one side, and the tuille biscuits which came with my latte were in an uncovered stainless steel bowl with a pair of tongs perched in the middle. What is wrong with a) decanting orange juice into an attractive glass jug with ice and a sprig of mint? (or having the jug sit on a bed of ice on a stand to at least make it look attractive) b) covering the tuille biscuits and putting them out of sight under the counter? Also when we wanted the bill, the nervy waiter had gone on a break, and a very teenage-looking sous-chef tallied our bill, and slapped it on the counter turning away as she did it, as if we were an inconvenience. Overall NOT an enjoyable experience, and although the shopping is good - in future we will give the deli bar a wide berth.

We decided to have lunch here before taking on the shops on New Year's Eve. We arrived at midday as the lunch menu was kicking off and some people were finishing their breakfast. We chose the lobster and king prawn Christmas special and the ploughman's platter (pretty big for one person). For an extra £2 we added a glass of cava to the special and for £5 a (very) large glass on Chardonnay. The drinks arrived instantly and the dishes about 10 minutes later. The quality and quantity for the price is fantastic, you do wonder how they do it. The dishes were very filling, but luckily we had time to walk it off with a couple of circuits of the centre. The only down side was that the store was quite cold. We will continue to come back, just turn the heat up a bit.

I have used this restaurant, in the food section since opening but it has changed management and sadly in my opinion the food service and quality have degraded. The eating area is cold because it is situated by the freezers, staff take a long time to give you your bill, so not ideal if if want a fast snack, often out of items, often burgers and yet you are siting in the middle of a food hall where burgers are sold, come on m & S , please give service and food quality equally from the first to last customer.

Worst Chinese ever! If you want a one-way ticket to the toilet, be my guest. Do not recommend me and my partner ordered from here two days ago and have since got severe diarrhoea. The food was very stale and hard especially the Hong Kong chicken style and the chicken balls were overcooked and when I put my mouth through one of the chicken style dishes it I had tasted like it was badly burnt. The food was done pretty much instantly, which is very unusual for any takeaway. if I could give this no stars I would but I don’t have that option to do so but if you fancy going to eat your food here, I would think again you can clearly see by all the other reviews. I kind of wish I saw the reviews before. i’m surprised this Chinese has not been shut down.

Went yesterday to find the place is all boarded up. I don't know if it is shut for refurbishment or if it has shut down permanently. This is the second coffee shop I used that has been closed. My favourite was Costa in Waterstones. That's gone too.
