Ordered food her for delivery and turned up over 30 minutes late I phoned the shop to be told it had just left and would be 4-5 mins 20 minutes later I had phone again to see where it was to be told twice he would contact the driver which he’d already obviously not done Won’t order delivery here again and there was no apology for the late food arrival

First time ordering. 45 minutes late. The chips were a mix of green/black/grey inside and out. Weird! Prawns rubbery and dry. Curry tasteless. £53 wasted. We wanted too treat ourselves as that is a lot of money. Wish I could post a pic of the chips! Never seen anything like it.

Have always used Delhi Spice as our Indian take-away go to. This evening had the meal for 2 and it was outstanding, loads of food and taste - loads of flavour x excellent meal 😀

I’ve been on Wales for a year now and it’s the first proper Vindaloo I’ve found! I would recommend Delhi Spice to anyone in the Bridgend area, best in the county 👌

What can I say. Has to be the nicest Indian we have had in years Will definitely use again and soon. Had chicken pathia, chicken korma and a madras’s curry sauce. Beautiful flavour. I’d definitely recommend. The hygiene rating is good so no worries.

Had my first meal from you . Was excellent. Delivery prompt and driver very polite.

Turned up 30 minutes late, it was barely warm. Needed to microwave it. The piece of tandoori chicken was all bone, no meat on it - was thrown away. Asked for no coconut relish, but was sent two of them. Telephoned to complain, offered a free meal next week - was refused a refund and didnt call me back. Have emailed my complaint - received email reply and refund day after. Have now given up on finding a decent indian takeaway in Bridgend.

Absolutely wonderful food, superb taste, nice change from our usual takeaway. This is probably going to be our main takeaway for a period now as it was so fantastic. We had the Aloo Tarka Paneer, peshwari Nan and gorgeous onion bhajees. Piping hot on delivery and VERY tasty.

Lovely food. Only disappointment was the butterfly King prawn which for some reason was cooked in breadcrumbs which killed the flavours of the prawn

Sorry a little bit disappointed. The food was cold had to microwave it. I had biryani my hubby has medium curry. The curry was very dry and didn't cover the portion of rice a full plate of rice left as wasn't enough sauce to cover. The chicken in my biryani was very chewy like it wasn't freshly cooked and again quite dry. A take away is a treat for us and I wish I'd cooked myself to be honest. Don't usually leave bad reviews but felt this was justified.

Would give 0 stars if I let me. Ordered food at 5.30pm its now 7.25 and no food. Called them at 7pm asking where my food is and they told me it was out for delivery. 20 minutes later still no food so I called again to be told the delivery driver left just 1 minute ago. Really rude staff will not be ordering from here again.

Very amazing food and customer service

Food never delivered, over an hour of phoning before getting an answer, 2 promises that it had just left the restaurant never arrived/ then denied all knowledge of the just eat order. Have had good service in the past but would never risk ordering from the restaurant again.

Food is lovely but waiting times verge on the ridiculous. Nearly 2 hours and then they didn’t deliver everything. Won’t be using them again which is a shame as the food is quite good

After waiting two hours to receive my food, it came cold, bland and there naan breads tasted of hand sanitizer. I then tried to contact them asking for a refund on their inedible food and got rudely treated and hung up on.

I ordered my food at 6:15 and it didn’t arrive until 7:50. It came tasteless, cold and the naan breads tasted like cleaning products. I then tried to get a refund and got hung up on.

Food was good but they sent the wrong food, sent a rogan josh instead of a lamb korma, tried blaming it on the online ordering system

Well I’m astonished at the bad review but I must speak as I find we ordered food this evening and everything was really really nice and tasty. Also Hannah at front of house was very polite and a credit to Delhi Spice

Fantastic indian so tasty. The only downside is we spent alot of money we didn't even ave a free bottle of pop like other Indians do.we will be ordering again

Chips were soggy and everything lacked flavour really. Also popadoms we’re old I think as they were soft. Not sure if quality was compromised since things were late and I had to ask where our order was or not, but defiantly not worth the money

Phoned up.. Went to pick up and they didn’t have my order. The number on here (google) is actually another Indians number! Normally always order from here as well. The food is good, but the guy at the counter was rude. Told me to go to the other Indian, I asked if I could just order from here and wait and he told me no... !!!

Very prompt delivery. Polite staff. Amazing chicken madras. Disappointed in the tandoori chicken main dish. Flavour was good but had two chicken legs. Was expecting a chicken breast and leg. Wont order the tandoori chicken again as there wasnt much meat on the legs.

Can't believe all the negative reviews on here, been using deli spice for almost a great now at least once a month. Always great tasty food, friendly helpful staff and reasonably priced. Can't comment on just eat or delivery as I always pick up myself. Never had to wait longer than 20 minutes after phoning the order.

Had to drive to meet them as couldn't find the address. Cold, tasteless, chips soggy. Over hour wait and half the order missing. Never again!

Ordered a meal for two, waited an hour, called again, they took my number and said they would call back. They didn’t , literally called them 32 times, the line was engaged, then they didn’t answer. Over and over again. The meal arrived over 2 hours and 10 minutes later, I’d already ordered from elsewhere . Thankfully other businesses know how to treat customers in this area. Disgusting behaviour from a local establishment. Will not ever order again.

Please, Please don’t use this service. Absolutely shocking. Service is awful, food is poor and customer service.....well there is’t any!! I ordered from Just Eat, missing food from the order, the food was awful and when I rang to complain the guy just kept putting the phone down. I’ve never been so annoyed at the way a complaint has been handled....and to top it all we STILL HAVENT HAD THE FOOD WE PAID FOR!!!!!! I urge you not to use this company as there are many many more that are much better

Deli Spice takeaway in Bridgend .....what a shambles !!! ordered a meal at 9.05pm to be delivered.....on a Tuesday nigjht.... was told about an hour....ok ...Hour and a half later ....no meal...phones them and they say ... no drivers ...can you pick up meal ? .....Err no...had alcohol cant drive thus asked for delivery ?????.... Told approx another hour ! Eh NO ....cancel our order ...Its now 10.25pm ..beans on toast it is then.....fridge bare as this was supposed to be the start of our holiday very disappointed and Bridgend will know on Facebook ! 😡😡

The curry separated with powder and water. It was awful, had to throw it out. The popadoms were full of grease and not cooked. What a waste of money! Very disappointed.

Having been out shopping all day we decided to have a takeaway. I chose the Lamb Vindaloo with Pilau rice and my wife had Lamb Madras with boiled rice.We also had some popadums,all of which were excellent .Definately our takeaway of choice.

First time ordering today, will not be using again! Both curry’s ordered were watery and as soon as they hit the plate it separated into paste and water.

Never leave reviews normally. I eat from here regularly. Tonight I must say that this is the most disappointing Indian meal I have eaten in years. Veg Balti: veg seemed straight from a tin and lacked any kind of nice flavour. Ordered a paneer dish, which was identical to the tarka Dahl. There was no difference! 3 people tasted it . We all agreed it s the same thing. Onion bhajis were nice ! Sorry guys you need to do better ! Gloop , gloop, gloop ☹️

Food order completed online including payment. Order collection time confirmed within 5 mins. Food was ready within 25 mins which is good. Delivery waiting time was 1hr 10mins so opted to collect. Food order ready on time. Staff courteous and friendly. Food was hot and we'll packaged. Enjoyed our meal very much. Thank you.

best Indian i’ve ever tasted from a takeaway. shame the delivery took 2hours

Food was mediocre, pre ordered at approx. 5pm for 6.30 delivery. Got pushed back 10 minutes, still nothing at 6.50 and got told it would me 5 minutes the driver is leaving now. 25 minutes later it finally arrived. Would not and will not order from here again. AVIOD

I've been ordering from these guys for some time now. I've always been extremely impressed. Thier mixed meat dish is truly incredible and great value for money. Friendly service, speedy delivery not to mention friendly with great food to finish. Will return in the future. Thanks once again!

1 hour 15 minutes late (after the restaurant already added 25 minutes to the order) so this food took over 2 and a half hours from ordering to delivery. After ring to see where it was after half hour we were told it was out for delivery....and it turned up 45 minutes later, after another phone call and been promised a refund on delivery....all of £5.

food left place 20 mins before actually getting to my home chips were awful as they had been in a bag for 20 mins naan bread was cold, chicken tikka sauce split when was put on rice onion baji were nice

WARNING STAY WELL CLEAR FIRST AND LAST TIME I WILL ORDER FROM THESE. MY ORDER WAS OVER 2 HOURS LATE. I MANAGED TO GET HOLD OF THEM AT SOME POINT DURING THIS TIME FOR THEM TO TELL ME THE DRIVER HAD HAD A CRASH AND SOMEONE ELSE WAS ON THEIR WAY SO I THOUGHT OK TRY AND BE SYMPATHETIC. This is the first time in all the years I've used Just Eat that I've given a bad review. I thought I would try a different Indian than us usual but I cancelled my order as it was so late - 2.5hrs since I'd ordered and still not arrived, I tried for an hour to call the restaurant but they're not answering. If you can't honour an order then don't accept it!! Terrible service, sounds like I'm not the only one.. won't order again from these guys. There are better more reliable restaurants in Bridgend.

The most delicate flavours blended into the most delicious food. The waitress was so informative explaining the use of ingredients used in different areas of India. All told a wonderful meal.

It's rare for me to rate 5 star one day and 1 star the next order. Very disappointing. Flavourless, poor food. I spent £31 and did not even get given a poppadom. I called and was told they do not give poppadoms, no matter what the price of the order. Balti was inedible. Will not be ordering again.

Food was lovely, however only disappointment was the lack of mince in the Keenan naan. Didn't feel if there was any. Everything else was fab!

Fantastic. Haven't ordered from here for a while, it used to be good, now it's EXCELLENT

Nearly an hour late even though the app told me it had been delivered at the estimated time (I'm guessing the restaurant/driver updates this?) The food was ok - pretty typical for your local Indian takeaway. Would I order again? Maybe, maybe not! I might read the reviews again first to see if any improvements have been made.

Terrible. Over an hour late, despite contacting them and being assured it was '5 minutes away!' We tried to contact the restaurant again and the phone was switched off. When the meal finally arrived, some of the food was burnt and they had not taken notice of the notes we had left for the restaurant. We will not be ordering from this place again.

First time order and disappointed. Arrived 45 mins early which was not ideal as it was cold by the time the other person arrived. Bengal chicken was very tangy and sweet, couldn't eat the sauce. Keema naan appeared to have no meat, one small piece wedged up in the corner. Wouldn't use again.

I ordered chicken tikka masala. As soon as I placed it onto my rice the sauce turned to only whatnot can describe as water and the masala turned into a dry paste. I also ordered a keen naan, I have never tasted a worse keen naan in all my life! I will never order from here again. £16 straight in the bin!

Myself and my partner ordered this last night, to start with we ordered at around 9pm, expected around an hour wait, we were then told the restaraunt added 20 minutes to the time which was fine, but it came to 10:20pm when it was expected and nothing, food actually arrived at 10:45. The chips were cold, and they forgot the mint dip we had paid for. That aside though, the chicken pakora, mushroom rice and butter chicken were the best I've tasted!! Still won't be ordering again though, too much money to spend, too much time to wait, and to get food which was nice but had to be warmed up was a disappointment
