Lovely coffee. Lovely warm staff and generally a nice atmosphere. Homemade scones and well priced foods.

I tried this place for wee take away coffee and glad I did. They seemed short staffed as went morning and waitress very nice but had to wait as women who makes coffee was busy cooking and plating up etc. The glass cabinet of cakes looked bit tired but prices seemed very fair and I guess so many cafes in this wee town that likely they struggle. I would go again and perhaps eat as nice atmosphere and coffee was above average

Cafe is normally busy and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful however the food isn’t fantastic or good value! It’s expensive for what you get. The food was average. Personally I feel there better value & food elsewhere in the town.

Popped along here for breakfast when out for a cycle one Saturday morning. Nice little cafe in the heart of Saltcoats with a good large menu with lots of choices to select from at cheap prices. Ordered the breakfast and a coffee, and was freshly prepared in no time. Not the largest breakfast, but hits the spot and fills a hole. Staff are really friendly. Will be back again in future.

went here today for a pit stop to get out the rain. i would say its more a cafe than a restaurant. social distancing is spot on inside plenty room and tables where well set out. its waitress service and they were very quick and attentive. menu is ok not got a large selection of items but found something. portions are pretty neat. got tea and a can juice. 2 hot rolls and a toastie and a breakfast. thank god we asked for an extra egg as the plate would have been bare. in saying that the rolls and toastie and chips came out and the breakfast followed 5 minutes later. the food was hot and fresh. very poor service should have all came out together. cost 50p short of 20 quid. value for money? maybe not im sure there are better options available in the surrounding area.

Nice cafe but not a fantastic choice of food very basic menu and I find it to be a little expensive for being a cafe ... not a restaurant. Used to visit every Saturday but got fed up the same boring choice and the price can get the same if not better quality elsewhere in Saltcoats for a lot better price and more to choose from.

I usually order 2 rolls n sausage any time I come in here and it's never let me down after about 25 years since I was coming as a kid! I'll always highly recommend Del Grecos to anyone!

Went for lunch as usual food was excellent but service was terrible.Sat for approx 10minutes waiting for service one waitress was running daft trying to serve everybody in the back half of the cafe while the other was enjoying a good chat with the girls who were cooking.The result was two fold people were waiting for their food and even more were waiting to be served.Maybe more staff training for some would be appropriate

I met my friend for lunch and had a lovely time! Good food and great customer service! We were there for ages as we lost track of time! What a lovely cafe! Looking forward to my next visit! 😊

Very good choice on menu. Excellent atmosphere, restaurant nice and cosy on a cold day. Service was quick and friendly. Very good value.

My favourite meals are probably baked potato, coleslaw and gammon and the old favourite fish and chips. My husband likes the macaroni and chips. The staff work tirelessly to feed you lovely meals, on time and in a friendly manner. Sometimes it can get very busy in deed. I have lovely memories of my mum feeding my toddler daughter the froth off of a cappuccino. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I enjoyed a visit with my friend for a catch up as it’s become our favourite meet up cafe as I love there macaroni! Always receive great customer service!

2 of us just wanted teas etc...Pleasant staff and surroundings...Ordered tea/coffee and cakes..all was ok...no complaints..toilets were clean..

Popped in here for bite to eat on a Saltcoats visit , fairly bog standard cafe fare , not that there's anything wrong with that can't really fault what we had , but surprised to find it was cash only (in this day and age ?) sadly ,will stop me from returning .

Had breakfast there on weds 2 rolls n sausage, roll n links n tottie scone and toast 2 milkshakes 2 cans. Food was all nice milkshake wasn't great. Then we get the bill and we've been overcharged we tell them when paying she recalculates and gets it a totally different price still over charged but mum paid anyway. So they lost out on a tip.

Served in a quick and timely manor. Food was decent nothing special. A tad overpriced for what your getting. Overall not a bad place for a bit to eat.

My favourite cafe in Saltcoats in terms of food and restaurant but not the friendliest pf staff it has to be said...always costs them a tip.

The best roll and sausage about! Cosy cafe with lots of different choice on the menu, always quick service too.

Fantastic Italian cafe with great food & lovely welcoming staff, really good prices & easy to find, wide range of coffees as well.

Food is nice staff are lovely always busy but never a long wait Sandro and the girls get to know you and when you go in they have a chat before asking what your order is or ask if it's just the usual can't ask for better

Ordered a roll and sausage and onion and a tea. Roll was vile - not that warm - tried to cover it up by toasting it. Paid £3.90 but feel they should have paid me to go in to the cafe. Won't be back.

A mi hija le encanta la pizza así ver grand esta en el menú estaba contenta. Cuando llegamos no había sido superficial se veía pálido y sin cocer siempre se dijeron lo comer ella era tratando, pero cuando me dijo que yo sabía dejar

Metimos en un bocado para comer con mi madre y mi hija. Pedimos 3 rollos y 3 bebidas. Cada rollo no era lo que pedimos. No pedir un rollo de atún, mayonesa, a menos que quieras sorprendió con grandes piezas de cebolla cruda. O un bollo crujiente bacon que aparece con una piel todavía grasos y calientes. O un huevo y rollo black pudding con yema secos y morcilla. Entonces cuando nos preguntamos por qué nuestra orden no era lo que habíamos pedido que nos dijeron que ese es el camino que viene? ? ! ! Nunca más.

El personal es muy amable y la comida era bastante buena. Sólo parado por un café, pero decidimos hacer un par de dulces pollo chili panini. Sorprendió gratamente lo bueno que estaban como yo no esperaba que de tan grande o tan sabroso como estaban. El café no era el mejor que he probado, pero soy muy exigente cuando se trata de mi café.

Went here with friends for lunch waited ages for dirty table to get cleared and our order taken and it wasn't busy lunch was ok but staff could b more friendly and crack a smile .

Era la hora del almuerzo top haciendo un poco de compras en Saltcoats y sentimos la necesidad de comer. Visitamos el Café del Greco por segunda vez y nos pareció que la comida era tan buena como antes. Yo tenía un simple queso Panini y una taza de su delicioso café. El servicio fue rápido y eficiente, la joven camarera vieras una sonrisa en su rostro hubiera sido agradable. En general, bien merece una visita, nada de lujos en mi plato, pero no el trabajo y desde nuestra mesa en la ventana, se podía ver en el gabinete de frío y allí parecía mucho lindas tartas para aquellos a los que les gusta las cosas dulces!

Pedimos nuestra comida y la camarera trajo el orden equivocado, así que tuvimos que esperar más tiempo, pero la comida era encantador y el personal era encantador

Paramos aquí para una taza de té y un sobresaliente. ensalada roll encantadora y fresca y sabrosa.. Personal muy concurrida pero agradable y amable volveremos xx

Este Café es perfecto para un descenso de café o una comida, el menú es variado, todo es fresco, así que tendrá que esperar un poco de tiempo para conseguir lo que pedimos, pero vale la pena esperar. Nada es una molestia para el personal, recomendaría una visita cuando en la ciudad.

Had a lovely soy hot chocolate and soy milkshake here when visiting over Easter. Was surprised they had non-dairy milk after the waitress told me she thought they didn't, but I asked her to double check just in case so I'm glad I did! My mum ordered the half panini and soup deal but the girl brought a full size panini but we didn't bother to say anything and paid for the full size. All in all a good first visit, staff behind the counter very helpful.

This cafe is perfect for snacks, meals or just a coffee and catch up. The staff are amazing, fast and efficient , I would recommend a visit.

The cafe has been there for years with the same people plenty of tables nice friendly staff and great coffee and really good rolls with sausage and onion and chips are good too ! I go in occasionally for this to takeaway but have sat in with family and friends as well

Went in here for a pot of tea and was charged extra for hot water. Never again. It doesn't have the same atmosphere as it used to.

Being coming here for years but when visiting a week ago found the service was terrible, we were overcharged and the food was cold when we got it. We weren't even brought cutlery. Definitely going downhill.

Been going to del greco for yrs but in the last few months the service hasn't been the same staff don't smile don't even say hello to you the prices are a bit on the dear side for what your paying for. That's why I have stopped going as much.

I had not been here for a few months,but my wife goes here for lunch regularly and as she likes it a lot we went for a snack today. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised the café was spotlessly clean and any available table had been wiped clean, and all the previous customers dishes had been removed,this may seem odd but the last café where we had been to the dishes were still on the table and to be honest they were removed after we sat down. We had barely sat down when a waitress took our order and we were served within five minutes, the snacks were hot and very tasty and the drinks were served at the same time and were also hot and as good as can be expected.The toilets are also spotless and large enough for a few customers ,and they are for the use of patrons only which is in my opinion as it should be.So all in all I will be returning here again and will continue to do so hopefully for the foreseeable future.

I like del grecos and think that the prices are reasonable for the portions that the offer you. i love the macaroni cheese and ice cream.Del Grecos is just around the corner from the main street and just across from the market on saturdays and wednesdays. pop in for a visit if you are in the town.

You can have a lovely lunch/ breakfast here, friendly staff and lovely little cake I always by to take home. The one which is layered chocolate, coconut, caramel then chocolate, they are delish, reminds me of a cake I got at school :)

Nice cafe, pleasant staff , excellent coffee and a very decent chicken salad with baked potato. This was my first visit and was recommended to me for lunch, glad I listened and will definitely go back next time I am in sunny Saltcoats. Good value and decent portions too.

We went to the Del Greco caffee for a quick lunch and had a lovely one my husband was very happy with his espresso at the end of the lunch

Stop by here regularly, can't resist the chips and fried eggs! Plenty of seats to choose from, its always busy so they are doing it right.

Popped in for lunch one day. Had the fish and chips. Certainly not one of the best valued meals that I've had.

When my dad comes to stay, he always likes to go here for the tasty paninis and great pot of speciality teas. He enjoyed the bacon and scrambled egg panini. I also enjoyed my tuna and onion panini. Decent food for a good price. Excellence Italian coffees too. The place does the job but don't expect welcoming smiles from the waiting staff. It is so busy they are run off their feet.

very basic food grumpy staff. not much choice on menu prices above average for what you get not even dressing to plate ie salad crisps etc that you get in other cafes

Have breakfast here quite often. The BLT croissant is lovely!! Service is very quick although the waitresses are very often harassed looking.
