Fantastic service lovly meal and pudding was great

I had a lovely meal here after a long day in work. The staff were so lovely checking I was happy and tailoring my meal to my dietary requirements. Would definitely come again and recommend wholeheartedly.

Accessible rooms are spacious and well kept, could do with a shelf in the bathroom for somewhere to put toiletries but otherwise good. Staff are all super friendly. Easy to get to and plenty of parking without being too noisy from the main road. Food in the bar is as better than expected for this kind of chain

The Red Squirrel was very easy to find. The service was good with pleasant staff And the rooms are spacious, nice and clean.

Staying with relatives visited on Saturday evening as a walk in. Great food , great service and as bonus a dedicated dog menu for the pup. Ordered dog a chicken breast which kept him busy while I got on with mine. Will come again next time we are visiting the area.

Been to a few quizzes here before, The Red Squirrel is a warm, welcoming pub and very family friendly. Nice carvery - plenty of choice for vegetarians and the vegan spinach tart was lovely!

How I've missed this place not been in for a about 2 months walked. Walked and was immediately greeted by hello strangers. Staff where as friendly as ever. We had the carvery today seeing as it was a Sunday food was amazing as ever and guiness was perfect

Great location with restaurant on site. Staff all round were very helpful and pleasant. Liam was very helpful and kind when we arrived an hour before lunch was served and organised us with coffee and cake while we waited. The hotel staff were lovely, sorting out an earlier check in for us. Many thanks, we are having a pleasant stay.

Good position if you want to explore west of Scotland. Called in without a reservation for lunch, found us a table within minutes (it was Sunday to be fair). Good food and very pleasant staff. Will be back again.

Come here every week sometime twice won't be coming back normaly get seated and table service but today got told to take a seat and when ready come to the bar to order then another person came in and got table service asked what they would like breakfast wasn't as good as normal either felt very wrong today

Booked for Sunday carvery with wife ,daughter, and granddaughter, choice was plentiful and food tasty , would prefer the meats to be a bit thicker cut though as thought they were quite thin, but that's my only gripe

Visited today for a carvery meal on approach to the carvery it looked delicious so after filling our plate and sitting down to our meal we discovered it wasn't terribly warm the carrots were cut in chunks and they were hard the cauliflower cheese sauce was dry and it didn't have any sauce on it so I thought but chef said oh its on it we hadn't been to Marston s for a while but we were really good customers there for a very long time and one of my favourite things about the carvery was always the piping hot cauliflower covered in cheese sauce meat was in very small pieces with a good amount of fat attached the staff here are really lovely and can't do enough for you I will go back maybe have better luck next time
