I came into the shop tonight get some food for the first time and the food was absolutely excellent I bought macaroni cheese and it tasted lovely I spent £25 in the shop and I’m very happy with the purchase me and my wife would definitely come back to the shop again The gentleman behind the counter was very polite and very friendly to all the food look fresh and it tastes excellent to I would highly recommend anybody is looking for Caribbean food to use this shop and the shop was very clean and tidy to and all the staff are very friendly very easy to park outside in the layby so if anyone is looking for some lovely Caribbean food I highly recommend that you buy from the shop as it taste absolutely beautiful thank you once again for a great service I’ll be back soon Kevin

I used to buy patties from here years ago, and decided to get oxtail & rice and peas as an alternative to my usual Caribbean - brown eagle since they had none available, but I have to say this was the worst Caribbean food I’ve ever had in my life. I hadn’t eaten all day either so you’d think I’d stomach it but it was so bad I had to bin it and starve during my shift. A waste of almost £10! The oxtail tasted like it had been there for a week. I’ve never even had bad oxtail prior to this experience. Not to mention the Customer service was appalling. A young woman (with a chin piercing) served me, her attitude stank I could’ve sworn if I didn’t uphold some sort of class and decorum I would’ve fixed her face right for her.

Sometimes service can be slow on certain days but it is well worth it!! They always bring my food hot and even give free stuff... I wouldn't order from any other shop to be honest

I purchased two medium bread last Thursday. I was very disappointed with quality of the bread. It was dry and trashy. Can’t understand how you have stale bread one day before Good Friday. It is a shame as I was hoping I could support them as they are a local business. When I went to slice the second bread it had green bits on it. Please see photo below

Never order from this place curry goat vile broke my tooth on the meat , the meat was just bone and no meat what so ever ! Rice clumpy not cooked properly ! Worst Caribbean I’ve ever eaten I didn’t even eat it the whole lot went back in the pot and in the bin even the pattie was crap !

Ordered jerk chicken and when I got home saw it was roast chicken. They didn’t have plain rice or rice and peas but just a yellow veg rice. It must of been yesterday’s as it was old rice it went straight in the dustbin Will not be going there again

Delivery took 3 hours, the number is constantly engaged. This is the worst service, please do not spend any money on them, you will regret it. I can’t not believe this. Placed an order at 6, order still not delivered at 21.08. Waste of money

Would recommend a visit to any one.. it has easy access.. and the staff are very friendly and obliging.. well worth the 4 stars

I ordered the food the food at 7:30 pm. The estimate time was 8:30, at 8:45 I rang the restaurant the gentlemen said it’s on its way. I rang again at 9:15 same answer again at 9:30 still the same answer. I rang once more at 9:50 same answer. Food never arrived.

Absolutely disgraceful place. Nearly 2 hours to wait for one meal. How is this acceptable!!!!?? I will never be ordering from here again. AVOID

Food was defiantly warmed in microwave.curry goat was so dry not a ouclnce of curry.but not nearly as dry as coleslaw.i mean how can coleslaw be so dry was like it was mixed with cement...and they run out of rice and peas.which makes the meal so had Norma rice.

it's quite easy: if your ordering for dinner from Dee's, order it at lunchtime and they'll probably still be late. In addition the person who delivers it still won't even apologise for their lateness. My advice: order from Brown Eagle they're much better with time keeping and professionalism if you fancy West Indian food.

Not a happy customer and most likely won't order from this restaurant again. Only thing good about my order was the Oxtail. The fried fish that was a substitution for my original order of steam fish was horrible, the fish was old and very chewy, seemed like it was re-fried after days, my original order for fish was large and I received a small fired fish with way more rice than was required for fish that size. And to top all of this off, the order was extremely late! I received the call from the restaurant at the time my delivery was meant to arrive(even though this time was already half hour extended) to substitute and it was another hour until I received the food! It was a poor service all round!

The food took an hour and 10 mins to be delivered, but they did arrive 10 mins before their estimated time of arrival. I ordered the fried fish which had barely any fish on it, however flavours where there and prices are quite cheap. I ordered a chicken patty and was charged for it but didnt receive it, i know i could've called and complained but to be honest i couldnt be bothered to wait for it. Disappointing.

Very disappointed with the level of service. I received 2 phone calls about my order. The 1st phone call was about an additional 20 minutes to my 1 hour and 10 minute waiting time. I accepted it with no bother. Then I received a second call from the restaurant to say they had run out of curry chicken to fullfill my order which is unbelievable and a poor 1st experience. We finally received our order and when it came the rice and peas lacked flavour and the curry goat tasted days old. I will never use this restaurant again.

I order from here all the time. today there service was poor. I waited a 1hr for delivery they didn't have what I wanted and then they sort changed me and the meal I got was all bone with no meat on them kmt I called them and they said they will call me back and they didn't. for that I'm not order from again.

No gravy with meals, just dry meat and rice. Took 45 minutes past expected time to arrive.

Rubbish customer service had me waiting over and hour then when I rang them cause I wanted to know were my food is and they told me that they not delivering my food which I had ordered in the delivery time and they told me to come pick it up so for this they don't get no good ratings they are slacking

After waiting an hour and a half for delivery, phoned restaurant to chase order, and food still wasn't even prepared and was told it would be at least another hour and a half, so told them to forget it.

Oxtail ordered was very bland and patties were cold. Was not told by the restaurant before my order arrived that a item I ordered wasn't available which was a main meal. If items aren't available they should not be allowed to be selected on the app until it becomes available again. A phone call would have been appreciated. Only good thing is that the food came on time and the Guinness punch is lovely, however, I won't be ordering again.

meat portions were small on a large meal, rice was dry. plantain wasn't cooked very well, but they did deliver earlier than they said.

Food was bland got the fried chicken and it tasted so bland, 5x the amount of rice to meat, accepted the order and didnt have what I requested, also preordered and collected it and was still made to wait as they hadn't got my order ready! Rubbish.

Very disappointed. Food came 1.5hours later and they are 5 mins away. No apology. To make it worse they never had both meals ordered. They gave us an alternative which worked out cheaper. I was told we would be refunded the difference on delivery but this never happened. I called to complain and no answer! Terrible service. Not recommended sorry

Food was amazing however, I had to wait 2 hours for my delivery when I only live 5 minutes down the road by driving. When trying to call the restaurant they did not answer my calls. And the delivery service was really poor.

The chicken is very dry as there is no jerk sauce with it and thats why i wrote in the message that i wanted a pot of jerk sauce.

Purchased two patties, I wasn't able to take them back found them both to be overcooked, too salty and the pieces of chicken were very overcooked, almost burnt, very hard and tough to chew after a couple of bites they went straight in the bin, won't be purchasing food from there again

By far the WORST "customer service" I have ever received. Awful telephone manner and lacking in manners! Literally threw my food at me and to make things worse when they don't have something they force you to have something you don't want. Never again. Thank you Dee's. But NO thank you

The jerk chicken was pretty good...

First time ordering for here and will defo be ordering again ! ☺️ They didn't have the bread pudding I really wanted but a call from friendly Ann made that ok when she suggest other options! All staff very friendly and polite and taste almost as good as my mums cooking 😝 If there was Mac & cheese on the menu this would of made me complete (just a suggestion) but the jet pork was amazing!!!! Thanks Aunty ann (she not my real aunty but the service made me feel apart of the family ☺️)

I love this little takeaway, I know the ladies who work there. They don't know me but once I needed to use their facilities, I was desperate, they kindly allowed me to use it, so I had a sneaky pick at the back. Anyhow the toilet was spotless, and my mama always told me that if toilet in the house is clean then the kitchen is safe to eat it from. But yeah, everything was clean. Also the portions are massive. They make wonderful peanut punch and cakes. This times I requested a delivery, they did so, it took them long enough, but that's ok, I did not pick up the phone, it was my mistake, but what I liked more was the fact that I did order a potato pudding, they didn't have it but they substituted with two different cakes. Anyhow, I would recommend it, I would definitely recommend you to visit the place, those ladies are just nice people that work there.

The food was delicious. They even called up and offered us alternatives to the foods which they didn't have. We also received a free bottle of drink for the delivery which was slightly long. Overall, fantastic service.

It took a very very long time for the delivery to arrive. The food was delicious but terrible timekeeping.

The food was good but their customer service is lacking.The meal was delivered later than the stated time and some items were missing.I had to call the restaurant 2 times for the missing items to be delivered,I was then told the restaurant had closed for the day and that the items would be delivered the following morning.Its after I insisted to speak to someone in charge,that the items were then delivered,1.30 hrs later.

Need to update just eat website for deliveries after 9pm had to call the shop for delivery, because just eat only gave an option for pre order delivery for the next day

I've had 3/4 delivery orders from here and the quickest time they've delivered is 1 hour and 45 minutes... :| The longest 2 hours and 35 minutes. The food is quite good, which is why I've given them opportunity to redeem themselves but they just can't seem to sort out their delivery. When you call them to ask what'e happening, they're usually nice but always say the driver's left, which I doubt has ever been true. I'm done with ordering from here. Maybe stick with collection for Dees. It's a shame since the food has always been nice.

Worst takeaway service possible I waited 1 hour for deliver.. Phoned them suprised they actually ansewed for the man to say " I thought someone phoned and told you we don't have what you want" NO they did not my order was accepted.. THEN to be told he has no idea what's going on and no idea what I want him to say to me!! He said there was no one else there who knows who I could speak too either?! I paid by card and when asked if I was going to be refunded after accepting the fact I was speaking to someone with the brain of a fish he said he will get someone to try sort out my refund. (TRY really???) I haven't had my refund back still so I will be calling just eat tomorrow DO NOT PAY BY CARD! Infact do not order from at all apsolutely discusted... And hungry lol

Food took over 2 hours to arrive even though I live 10 minutes from the restaurant. Limited menu and had no jerk pork which is why I ordered from them, settled for jerk chicken and it didn't taste like jerk sauce. No compensation offered for waiting such a long time. If your hungry don't order from them.

Got a call after 1hour and 10 minutes asking what rice I want when this was specified in my order 😒. Food got here 2 hours after placing order. Well to long to wait. On a positive note the curry goat was WELL nice. Really good. So I will be ordering from here again. I would recommend going to collect the food if you can. after a wait of an hour I was called to say the didn't have what I wanted so I changed my order. I then waited another hour and the wrong order was sent. Restaurant wouldn't answer phone, so I was stuck with it!

Waited an incredibly long time for food to arrive and received a call after 1 hour to day that they had run out of jerk chicken. I selected bbq chicken instead. It wasn't great. Usually love ordering from this place but they got 2 out of 4 of my order wrong. I asked for chicken wings and they sent one huge peice of chicken. & a asked for fried fish and they sent steamed with no option for plain rice so they assumed I'll have the rice and peas. Always enjoy the service at Dee's. Family-friendly, good service and scrumptious food. If you just need some nice West Indian food quickly then this is your place. Only improvement I'd have is a better seating area, but I understand that the shop is small. Re-arrangements could be made though.

I UNDERSTAND THE GESTURE HOWEVER I DONT EXPECT TO PAY £7 FOR A SMALL PORTION OF STEAM VEG. 6. THE OXTAIL WAS NOT AVAILABLE SO WAS SENT A REPLACEMENT OF PINK CURRY GOAT. I CALLED THEM AND AT FIRST THE WOMAN WAS POLITE, ALTHOUGH SHE APOLOGISED AT FIRST BUT AS MY COMPLAINTS GREW THE WOMAN SAID SHE WOULD CALL ME BACK. 20 MINUTES LATER I CALLED BACK AND SHE RUDELY PUT ON THE SAME DRIVER THAT TOOK 2 HOURS TO GET HERE TO GIVE ME MORE ATTITUDE. I ordered my food at 17.20 and it finally turned up at 20.00!!!! And it was missing an item!!! I think it's an absolute joke!!! How can customers get treated like this!!! I certainly will not be using this place again!!! If you want to then good luck, you'll be waiting half a day and will probably have items missing!!!

I ordered oxtail with rice and jerk chicken with rice, both dishes were sweet and sour and tasted almost the same. Jerk chicken was too soury and the rice was not fresh. Delivery time was not bad and service was good. I will not be ordering from here again. I was not impressed with the taste of the food. I will stick to what I know next time.

Took a risk ordering from here as everyone was saying how long their food took, well can't say my experience was any better they rang me an hour and half later saying what I wanted was no longer available and then still took another 1 hour to get here once I re done my order and even when it got here was nothing special at all Caribbean junction is much better

The food arrived 3 hours after I placed the order. The delivery service is atrocious and there is absolutely no point in even selecting a time slot as they clearly do things in their own time. This is the third time in a row they have taken 3 hours to deliver two meals. Absolute joke. Food is nice but don't order from here unless you have 3 hours to spare otherwise you will starve to death.

went and got curry goat,and the goat was dry i ask for extra gravy and still didnt get any,my dad was from jamacia and trust me he could cook,i was born and raised on west indian and im 48 now.ive tried so many places now and dont rate none of them,i dont know why they cant our food anymore,i was in jamaica last year and the food was to die for,proper food,will never go back to dees ever again.

Delivery was estimated at 19.30 but the food didnt arrive until 20.25. This was due to the restaurant running out of what we had ordered. Some of the food was a little burnt. The staff were friendly, it's just a shame the food wasn't amazing. Could have been just a bad day :(

Took almost 3 hours to be delivered. Food was lovely once it arrived but I was on the verge of passing out by then. Extremely disappointed with the delivery time. First time I ordered from them, it took just over two hours to arrive. Second time, almost 3 hours. Never again, unless I want to eat the next day.
