Second update- still no reply months later.. Update: Sent my complaint as requested in your reply below 4 weeks ago. Still no response. Very disappointed with our visit on Saturday night. I’ve been here many times over many years and it is usually excellent. This time we waited for 25 minutes after placing the order to then be told that one item wasn’t available and was frozen still. We were offered a replacement, but my daughter only eats that one thing there. This meant we had to go to another fish and chip shop to get it. I asked to refund it, they couldn’t get the till to do that. Offered to refund me from their own money but I refused as this would mean giving my bank details. Finally, they gave me the cash. as I left, I realise they had given me less than the item, so went back in. Beforehand I asked whether I would get any other kind of reduction for the inconvenience but no. When we finally got home, the food was quite dry, and the medium (not small) , fish was the smallest one I had ever seen and was almost all batter.

Wait was interminable with no apology. Small cod was really, really small. Onion rings were undercooked. Overall expensive for very small portion. Tried to give us the wrong food.

Horrible! Got a takeaway from here, chips where stale and cold some had this white stuff on them which looked like mould and have never seen this on any other chippy chips. Curry sauce was lumpy like it had gravy granuels that hadn't dissolved and cheesy chips barley had any cheese on. Battered sausage and scampi was the only nice bit.

Nice food. Most fish and chips places aren’t worthy. This one is. Can’t wait to go back. Gravy on the menu intrigued me and can honestly say I’ll be ordering it every time now. Brilliant!

Wow! This is the most expensive chip shop we've ever used! £4.19 for 2 scoops of chips! Sausage in batter & Chips and Savaloy & chips came just over £15

Unfortunately had a bad experience with the food at Deep blue the other night. To start with a large chips costing a whopping £4.19!!! which was made up of just two scoops of chips. And honestly it was the worst part. Very soggy and a strange taste to them, think they must’ve been sat there for a while. The fish was average, felt the flavour wasn’t moreish and if I’m honest didn’t finish it. Was a lot more batter than actual fish. The lady who served me was very nice and welcoming just unfortunate that the food was very poor and over priced.

Recently got some fish and chips here for dinner after a long day. The girl serving was super nice and made the atmosphere of the restaurant very welcoming. The service was extremely quick and the food was delicious. The batter was so crispy and the chips were fluffy. Will definitely be coming back again.

Great to find a chippy open on a Sunday! Us and the kids really enjoyed cod and chips, chicken / fish bites, and veggie burger in brioche bun. The chips alone are excellent, the proper chippy kind, cut from fresh potatoes, crispy on the outside, mushy inside, that you can eat a whole bag of them alone before you realise you’ve got to leave some for the fish! Have bookmarked for when we next pass by, after visiting Painshill or one of the other National Trust parks nearby.

Turned up to buy fish and chips only no food cooked had to wait 20 mins for food might as well cooked my own 4 meals over £50 last time I am using them

Remembered why I stopped going, chips were sweaty and the curry was like water, Chicken Burger was ok but served on a white roll not a brioche. Service was lovely though.

Truly disgusted, dry half cold chips, just warm tasteless Saveloy, congealed curry sauce; the only thing which was half decent was the fish cake my friend had. The worst “fish & chips” shop meal I have ever had!

Cobham branch Waited 20 minutes to try a portion of chips before buying cod and chips for our family. The wait wasn't worth it. The taste and look of the chips were awful. Three of us tried them and threw most of them in the bin. I suggest sending someone to the Horsham branch to see what decent quality means.

I have tried numerous fish and chip shops and have to say , this is the best in surrey. Fish always fresh , staff friendly and they have the best curry sauce. Worth more than one visit per week.

What is that curry sauce flavour anout? and why does it have beans in it ,completley ruined what would of been a lovely meal,that is not curry sauce it was sweet in flavour,wish id tasted it before pitting over chips and fish ... not happy

I highly recommend going here the staff are a good laugh and are so helpful, I left with a smile on my face. To make it even better the it was amazing food, the best fish and chip shop I’ve been to. The batter is crunchy and the cod is soft on the inside me and my family loved it. I will definitely be back thank you so much not just for the food but the warm welcome and friendly staff and quick service.
