Soon as I walked in I was ignored as the staff were just stood there on their personal phones just scrolling/texting… (thought give them benefit of the doubt, may have been quiet) after standing there for 3 minutes I said, ‘Excuse me, can I get some large chips please?’ One staff member passed me on to the other as was clearly too busy texting… got served and got charged £4 for this pathetic attempt of a large portion! 😂 If you want a proper place to eat, I’d recommend Seahorse on St Marks Road in Surbiton 👍

Positive: The cod and chips were a decent size and reasonably priced. Negative: Do take some time to cook. However, next time I’m in the area, I’d be inclined to try some of the other highly rated chippies nearby.

Late afternoon walk by Hampton court needed a hot chai .. Was feeling peckish had chai and chips. Good portions and nice chai.. Very busy place...

Nice fresh cooked food. Only issue was it took 10min to cook. Nothing was ready to go. I dinned in and about 7 people walked out as they couldn’t wait. I enjoyed my cod and chips. Thank you

It's probably the best fish and chip shop in the area. I drive past three chippys to get here . I phone to place my order because they cook all of the fish fresh so you do have to wait so really get it freshly cooked it doesn't sit in the hot waiting for customers to come in . Hence top quality! I love it, if you are hurry go and get a meal from a burger chain.

Delicious! We had the cod and chips with mushy peas. More of a takeaway place, but there are a few tables to sit and eat. Walking distance from Hampton Court.

Regular customer for the past 2 years. We travel miles for the fish and chips we have a local chippy but the cod and chips is nowhere near the same!

Ordered a portion of chips and asked for plenty of salt & vinegar. When I opened them back at work, clearly no salt & vinegar. I returned to the shop and asked them to replace them (as they had gone cold) and to put s&V on them. They told me there was S&V on them - clearly not, couldn't taste it or smell it. It's only a bag of chips, so not exactly expensive for them to replace. Kept telling me I was wrong. Not accommodating at all, so walked out and told them where they can put their chips! 0 stars if I had that as an option.

Good portions at a much cheaper price than the city or Westminster. It is all alla cate though so don't forget the tarter sauce with your order. Some seating but also good for a picnic in the gardens.

Tasted like someone had taken a hot steamy dump on my plate curry sauce was thinner than an anorexic person and the chips were denser than a mentally deformed person left bitterly disappointed

We were very hungry after visiting the palace and happened to be 100% right with the decision to eat at this place. The portion was big, the food was very tasty, they cooked it fast and were super friendly to us. Well the interior is quite dull. It wouldn’t be the best place to propose a marriage for example. But a quick snack and a lovely talk with the staff is guaranteed. Thank you very much 😊❤️

Decent fish and chips ,the chips are quite greasy and the sauce needs money.50p,ketchup is not the best ever.And wait time quite long because the previous order is quite long.

The food is quite big but I think it can be better quality. The chips is a bit ugly. And the shop can be provide the maynoese and lemon with the fish.

Decent fish and chips. Haddock was nice and fresh even though it was a Sunday. Food is cooked to order which took about 10 minutes (Haddock & Chips). Best eaten rested in a takeaway wrap covered in lots of salt; onion pickle juice and vinegar.

Best Fish and Chips in Molesey.

A decent fish and chips place. Ordered via Uber eats and service was fairly quick. Everything cooked well but just not as tasty as others I've tried nearby. It's above average so better than the usual.

Without a doubt this is one of the best fish & chip restaurants in the country. The food is amazing the staff are lovely and the prices are very reasonable. Well worth a visit.

My wife and I always make a special trip from London to this restaurant for the Fish and Chips we have been there about 5 times over the years coming from California U.S.A. Our second day in London we planned to go to our favorite place for the fish and chips. We got off the train and started looking for it. We couldn't find it. I stopped in a nearby shop and asked, " Is there a fish and chips restaurant nearby?" The clerk replied, yes, there is, just go to the conner, however if you want really good fish and chips, it is a 12-minute walk" I said, " no thanks" We went to the place we loved, ordered our fish and chips. Long story short. The fish was mushy and the chips were soggy. Not only that, we paid extra for the chips... I should have taken the shop keepers advice. OH WELL!! Never go there again.

A quick walk across from the train station before going to Hampton Court. Their fish and chips were freshly prepared and tasty. Beware, their large portions..are LARGE. Well worth our quick stop.

One of us has a seafood alergy, ordered for fish and chips seperate and they came together. Quite unfortunate that 1 person now doesnt get to eat. Found the battered sausage and onions rings to be exeptionally greasy aswell.

Passing through from riding the Themes, was feeling hungry and this was at the perfect place at the perfect time. Service was excellent and the food was just as good.

First visit for me today. Had to wait 30 mins as they took an order for 17 portions just before me. I popped in next door barbers for as haircut. Fish chips & pie were some of the best I have had. will stop off next time I am passing. Kevin

I order quite often from the Carp and Trout , tonight I ordered cod which was dry , the chips were hard , sausages over cooked and hard and the curry sauce was runny , very disappointed in tonight’s food

Crispy batter, soft fish, classic chip shop chips, good price for decent portions. Might have to wait a little for things to cook, but I much prefer that to being given something that’s been sitting on a rack for a little too long.

The cod and haddock fishes were freshly prepared for us. Loved their beef pie. Chips served were thick and nice. All items here are priced reasonably. Worth a visit. Has a washroom also. Staff here is very friendly, warm and great !!

I was calling for ages then decided to drive there. Google stated it was closing at 9pm on Sunday. I got there at 8.15pm and it was shut. This is not the first time where timings did not match as per Google. Its awful service, especially when I told the restaurant five months ago to update timings. I can't determine if they closed early or the timings ares till off. Either way, poor service, minimal communication to customers.

Delicious! This was the perfect pick me up after a few hours wondering around Hampton court place. Super clean and friendly and the fish and chips were second to non. Piping hot and not at all greasy. Definitely pop in you won’t regret it

I went here around 4-5 months ago and it was ok the fish was frozen but the batter was good. Just went in there tonight on the way to the pub. Was told it would be 15 mins for chips and a sausage in batter, bit long but it's a Friday night so understandable. 15 mins later I ask how long the food will be, and we are told it will be another 15 mins. No apology. No offer of other food. Is what it is take it or leave it.

I sat in for 15 mins waiting for food for them to turn around and tell me it would be a further 10 mins. No apology, no offer of any food available. Really bad customer service.

Great fish and chips. Ask for more sauces as they o my put one or two, but the quality of the cod and the chips is fantastic and the price is even better.

First and last time I went there.Very unfriendly and soggy tasteless food

this is the best fish and chips I've ever had. Going into the shop, the prices were very reasonable. When our food came we were all delighted as the fish is HUGEEE. It was such value for money. For our appetites we could split a meal between 2 person. The hand pie was warm and yummy here as well. I want to say that when I came, a certain lady was screaming angry remarks at the owner behind the counter, my whole family and I could hear what she was saying. She was simply so darn upset that their fish and chips here for "too big" ( the price is average despite the size). I would like to commend the owner's patient and understanding attitude, who in the face of such an absurd customer, still tried to make an effort to please them.

Its fine for a local chippy, but much better in the area. They have a chip butty though which is a must in a chippy in my opinion and its fairly cheap.

The batter on the fish needs to be a lot more crispy. A bit disappointing.

My first visit here was admittedly only because the two other nearby chip shops were closed. That turned out to be a result as the fish and chips here are superior to the others, fried fresh to order. Our new favourite.

Ordered through uber eats. Received the COMPLETE wrong order. Called the shop and was offered no sort of explanation or even an apology. Then pretty much hung up on me. Wish I could comment on the food, but none of it is what I ordered.

If you are looking for a quick, cheap bite before/after visiting Hampton Court Palace, this is the place to go. Less than 100m from Hampton Court station, the fish here is fresh, service is fast and friendly. Place is clean and new looking. Cheaper than all the other nearby cafés.

Very good food definantly going there again

As a family of 3 adults and 3 Children we were on our way back from Chessington and discovered this Jem of a Fish and chip shop , we ate in and the service was great and the fish and chip quality was amazing , I struggled to finish the large cod which was delicious may I add . The kids food was great along with the other items we ordered . Best fish I’ve had in years , I just wish it was closer to where i live as it would be my regular . Thank you .

We love the chips! Worth mentioning that they don't use styrofoam or plastic wrapping and just pack the chips in plain (hopefully recyclable) paper :)

Fairly poor quality food. Pies reasonable quality bought in 'Pukka' brand, but ruined by being microwaved whenever I buy them. Battered sausage poor quality, too salty & often dry - probably from being reheated? Chips variable, sometimes ok/sometimes stale, but never good. Fish is usually good & decent size, but last one I had here this week (April 2019), although cooked to order, was tasteless (probably indicating not fresh but frozen stock). Decor looking old & tired, the premises needs a repaint & redecoration, the current decor is a bit tatty & bland with cheapish looking tables, chairs & lighting. Dining area small but not cramped, but devoid of any atmosphere or character with cold sterile white tiled walls. There's an increasing shabby look about the place, wall menu tacked up with bits of paper covering out of date prices or options, staff not wearing service whites but casual clothes, & although polite enough, looking like they'd rather not be there. Behind the counter looks a bit grubby in places through lack of cleaning, & the floor both in the dining area & particularly behind the counter looks unwashed & dirty. Prices have substantially increased too, so a single packet of fish & chips is now around £10 take-out. Increasing prices whilst lowering quality & standards doesn't bode well for this shop's prospects

I have been coming here on visits overview the last 8 years....a returning customer..again we've had a great fish and chips meal..the batter was superb and the fish (Haddock) lovely and fresh fried to perfection! The chunky chips were also great and no fried waste bits either 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻!
