Always lovely service and food at Deens. Their chicken and rice platters are addictive! The best thing on the menu! Their sharing buckets are also very good we were treating 12 kids to supper and bought 2 10 piece buckets it was a massive hit!

After watching lot of TikTok videos, we tried it today but it’s disappointing when they asked to pay extra if we want the strips dipped in spicy sauce. Anyhow upon opening the spicy burger at home it was a normal burger but they put some spicy sour sauce to make it spicy. Not going again

Was it Deens delight.... Manchester is the place of the spicy chicken burgers, no doubt. When a new establishment opens, I need to check it out. That's only if I'm in the area. How did Deens spicy chicken burger stack up against all the competition? It was a good tasty chicken burger freshly made. Not as spicy as the other chicken burgers I've had. Burger isn't and big as some of the other competitors. Chips were standard, nothing special. Did I enjoy it? Yes without a shadow of doubt. The spicy sauce had a more flavourism profile, than heat which made it more tasty to eat. Deens is in a good location, parking not an issue and they have seating which is nice. Overall I would say worth trying.

Very bad service and staff is very rude don’t know how to treat customers even complain to management but they all same don’t care about customers.

I have been to Deens Old Trafford a few times, previously the spicy dipped burger was very good but this time it was very average, even below average. I purchased a spicy dipped burger meal and wings. The burger was not tasty at all, rubbery, not nice. Nothing like I had previously. The chips were nice but over salted. The wings were very nice, that is the only saving grace for the meal. Next time I am in Manchester, I will try them again and hope for a better burger. They are all over TT claiming the best burger, on this outing they failed unfortunately.

Food was very tasty and definitely a strong contender for top spicy dip chicken burger in manchester. Staff where not too friendly as they where busy and needed to get orders out. However when it was less busy they were extremely friendly and i had nice conversation with them! Top quality food and good people!

Cheapest ingredients used for their food…chips were dry and hollow inside taste like raw chips, burger were dry and ketchup had nasty smell to it…basically they use the cheapest sourced ingredients and use them not worth the packing the food is served in…loads of nicer places average wait is 20-25min…

Little kid working at front till and staff don’t even know English. Came a long way for this burger because of the videos claiming it was Manchester’s best dipped burger. Absolutely isn’t ! Soggy bun - cold fries - chicken had no flavour whatsoever. Don’t even know what possessed them to say it was the best. Stick with Georgia's or Philadelphia guys.

The staff is extremely friendly, i believe the person who was responsible for taking orders was named hassan , and that guy he is 10/10 in terms of understanding , dealing with customer and behaviour. I could also say , the whole point of leaving this review was him .

Guy on counter is hella rude They don’t have a spoon apparently they can’t drizzle some of the spicy sauce on top, idk what kinda takeaway this is but even McDonald’s will customise the burger when it’s just me in the shop! Poor overall, burger I did get was a solid 2/10, edible but not worth going back for Bun was dead, filet not crispy at all, chicken was hard and rubbery Tried the peri chicken and rice, twice and got bad cramps But the inability to make my burger slightly spicy (rather than dipped) means never going back and I suggest you don’t too!

All the food is 10/10 the new dipped chicken burger is amazing, all the staff are welcoming & friendly if you haven’t tried this place I suggest you get yourself down too this place & try it for yourself👌🏼

Tried the other branch first in Longsight, it was a lot better than this branch, very average, nothing that blows your mind, slightly disappointed..had the 10 piece chicken bucket and spicy dip burger, dip 🍔 was like any other dip burger!!

Went today and we got lied to straight in the face. They took so long to give us our food and lied when serving people who came after us that they were before us. Avoid this place like the plague unless you want to stand there like a fool waiting for you food being told lies by incompetent and rude staff that don’t know what customer service even is.

I went today in much anticipation to try their spicy burger meal. As expected the shop was busy. I placed my order and was told it would take 15-20 mins. We sat down and waited. After 20 mins I asked how long it would take, I was told 5 mins. I went up again, only to see that people who came in after me were being served. I asked the guy at the counter why they were being served first and he said that they had in fact ordered before me and left to go and get cash, he insisted and even said "you can go ask them", having known one of the boys he was referring to I went up and asked if that was true, they said no and that they did infact come in after and order after me. I confronted the guy on the counter about the lie he told me and I asked when I would be getting my food. He asked the guy behind who said 10 mins and said to me 7 mins. Again lying to my face. I have never ever seen such dishonesty from anyone before in a takeaway and I'm sorry but this is very unprofessional. Not only was I lied to and made to wait over 40 minutes but I didn't even get an apology. Avoid this crooked establishment that hires disgraceful idiots as workers.

Deen is always a place to have great food. Yesterday I went to try their new spicy dip fried burger. I must say one of the best spicy burger in town. It is meant to be feel good kind of spicy not burn kind of spicy.

Came into Deens in Old Trafford Today at Lunchtime and they had No Spicy Chicken Burgers, Staff Calling Everyone "Lala" said it would Take 30 mins, and it wasn't Busy at all. Had to Get another Chicken Sandwich meal of the Menu, it only opened at 12pm aswell.. The Chicken Burger 🍔 was Dead, Very Thin Peice of Chicken Breast, not fresh and tasteless and Soggy Burger Bun (Heated up Soggy Microwave Job) Fries weren't the best and topped it of with a Mango refil tap drink, Tasted awful.. Anyway it was a huge Disappointment at £5.99, a couple of hours later a Dodgy Stomach. Avoid this Place like a Plague. Standards have dropped in these kinda places and They don't take Card Payments either, Cash Only.. Will stick to Mami Crispy or the Old Skool kansas in Chorlton for a Quality 🍔 atleast you will know what you get.

Tried the spicy dipped burger from Deens. All I can say is, its levels better than the other establishments. It had a great spicy kick and a nice crisp to it. The bun wasn’t soggy. Highly recommended!

Just went into Deens to try their new spicy chicken burger after seeing it on their socials and I was pleasantly surprised to see the results! The bun to chicken ratio was perfect and it was also nice to have a spicy dipped chicken burger without being drenched in orange hot sauce which then makes the bun disintegrate and fall apart. The burger had a good kick to it and leaves your mouth tingling with the spice after every bite! Great addition to the menu for deens and can't wait to come back! Also they have swapped their fries for chips which are much better! Spicy chicken wings are fire as always!

I’d say the food tastes nice but customer service isn’t professional. Waited 30 minutes for strips even person on counter said 5 mins. Also, they don’t accept card in 21st century.

Why on earth do you not take card payments. I barely ever carry cash for years now. Most places take card now, even the chip shops. Sort it out please. Update: 17th March 7.25pm, had some cash on me so thought I’d go Deens for a burger and fries. Walk in to be told we haven’t got anything apart from chicken wings and few pieces of chicken🤣🤣🤣🤣What a joke. Why stay open if there is nothing left. Kebab it is down the road.

Not the greatest place to get grilled burgers from anymore, all they to is get a fried chicken burger put it on the grill and add chilli sauce and claim it’s a grilled peri burger same with anything peri or grilled there, they used to do actual grilled burgers which were much better would not recommend at all, but the normal fried burgers are good same with the chicken tenders

The fact that they don't take cash and there are no cash machines nearby means that it's always more convenient to go elsewhere. Get into the 21st century guys.

Ordered my food exactly at 12:05, received my food at 12:45. Once I got the food it was dry and stale. Do not recommend.

The food is good I'm not complaining about the food at all. But cash only is very annoying especially when the closest cash machine nearby is a walk away. You may aswell display a sign outside saying dear HMRC I'm not paying my taxes come investigate me

Excellent value for money, I got a peri chicken wrap, the portion was huge and was made from real fillets and not processed lumps of meat, simple menu overall, highly recommended.

Deens has always been a local go to spot for me. After starting to work in Manchester I have been a regular and have really enjoyed it all. I have tried many things on the menu and never been disappointed. Always good customer service and friendly man on the counter. Would definitely recommend

Carcinogenic peri chicken - burnt to the core. I observed that they actually cook the chicken once and then put it into little paper bags and then take them out and just burn them on the grill. When questioned they replied “we’re not mad”. Well, I wonder what the Food Standards Agency would say? Also, the staff are abrupt - no manners or courtesy about their speech at all.

Food is really nice and well presented but the guys let the place down with their service due to not having card payment facilities and being cash only but also due to always telling you it would be ready in 20 mins but when you arrive you always having to wait another 15min which is why I have given them a 4 star

Would not recomend placed order with them inside takeaway waited their 40 plus minutes literally sat in plain view only for them to forget my order and to make it worse did not even say sorry or apologise in any way ... Dead out of this world!!. It was once a highly rated food place but has fell well off the mark in recent times. Went in ordered the deans box meal for as round 6 pounds not gonna lie that's cheap for what you get. It consisted of a burger, fries, chicken wings and a peice of chicken. This was an absolute shocker the chicken did not taste like chicken the wings the peice of chicken it all had a foul taste running through so we left that. The burger was an even bigger joke you might as well eat a rustlers chicken burger for 1 pound because they tasted the same the flavour was nasty no seasoning and when asked for spicy all we got some hot sauce when back in the day it was once dredged in the hot sauce to give it full flavour but nope just a bit of hot sauce will do wow dead out this world. Fries are just fries and the staff clearly don't care with all the shouting going on in the back, like i said once upon a time highly rated but now it's gone downhill, but for around 6 dollar real cheap but not good cheap definitely a 1/10

I said no salad they add salad to my order this is the second time this has happened. Learn how to read instructions and stop by saying next time this and that . There is not going to be a next time .
