Dee Dee's Family Cafe in Basildon

Went in for lunch with my little girl! Quick service, they couldn’t do more to help!! Got the highchair for me brought everything over when they didn’t need to! Really good customer service

We were looking for a few bits and pieces after a day trudging round lakeside so ended up in The Range and fancied a cup of tea. Had a cheese and onion toastie which came with crisps and a ht drink for a fiver. Pretty good value in todays climate but the cheese and onion toastie had untasty cheese!!

Terrible. I am disabled and had to get a stranger to carry my tray over. It cost 7.95 for a kids fruit shoot. A small free from cake. A tiny cup of tea, I mean gone in 2 mouthfuls, and a small latte Absolutely disgusting and a rip off. How can they justify these prices? I can get the same in Greg's for half the price and staff more helpful. I would give zero ratings I will not return.

Dee Dee's Family Cafe serves a range of hot and cold food and drinks. The menu is nothing to write home about, but especially for the area, the seating area is very smart, clean and well maintained. In the last standard checks, the kitchen scored a perfect 5 for hygiene, so I'd have no issue eating here. However the manager's post was advertised only 20 days ago, so hopefully, standards will be maintained.
