Always when here been going for years it's Ashamed the place is now shot because the owner has Died Going to miss going to this cafe for my burger and chips

Good food, cheap for the area and really enjoyed it. It's a bit of an old fashioned cafe but nice staff and they seem to have a lot of regulars/ locals eating there which is always a good sign.

Been there today had full breakfast & coffee staff very friendly recommend this cafe John very nice guy . Rest in peace’s John sadly passed way my thoughts with wife and family 2024 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️

Absolutely awful food I ordered a mix grill and what a shambles. i said no beans and I get beans on my plate the stake was over cooked I didn't even eat any of it so I ask for them to change it or a refund #what a waste of money! £30 I paid. I highly recommend going else I also I know a ex worker she told me that the man of the cafe/chef shouts at all of his staff treating them like rubbish and getting them replaced on a regular basis what a joke can't treat staff or customers with respect. When I told him I'm going to put a bad review up he laughed. Ive never felt so bad and upset cuz how we got treated. We didn't get anything for it other than disrespect and awful food

Absolutely beautiful, best breakfast I had in ages. Perfect egg, hash browns crispy and fluffy, not a hint of oil. Big portions and everything very tasty.great staff too.

Great little cafe, often have discounted early bird offers. Chef is amazing and will do anything for you... it's a fixed menu but you can alter items at no extra charge. Lovely place, and it's waitress served, and there also very respectful and helpful and disablility and LGBTQ friendly (although don't advertise as such like some cafe's do). Lived here 60 years, and this in my opinion of course, is the best cafe in the Town Centre area.

Deangate café is based in deans gate which is just around the corner from the barque shop in Abingdon street Blackpool it is a fantastic little cafe where it serves breakfast, and cafe specials not forgetting cupped tea or coffee, when ordering a breakfast the tea is free it has waitress service and these fine people look after you and make sure your happy with your food, there is disabled excess but check with cafe there who will do there best to look after you, the prices or cost is ok and in all it is a great and fantastic little place. So if your in Blackpool for a holiday or you need some food have we tried.its fantastic.

I know there's a cost of living crisis but 2 sausages does not count as 2 tiny chipolatas, the bacon was hard too. Tight with the toast and one solitary egg on the biggest breakfast offered is tight .

I've had several people recommend this place to me, I only wish I had gone here sooner, the food is incredible, the atmosphere is amazing, reminds me of being a kid and going out for lunch with my nan, and the staff are brilliant and you get a lot for your money

The quality of food is second to none and portions really generous. Always pop in here when in Blackpool as live locally. Recommend Full Monty for breakfast or Steak Pie for lunch. You’ll not need to eat again that day!

the bacon was amazing sausages were good eggs had a lot of flavour hash browns were not that flavourful but they were nice black pudding was so soft and tasty beans were really nice fried bread was amazing and crunchy service was really good 9.5/10

Nice enough cafe. Staff are pleasant. Tuna sandwich fell apart though as just tinned tuna with no mayo to hold it together. Coffee was ok.

Visited here at lunchtime with my parents. Found it just a few steps away from the main shopping centre on a quiet street. Received a friendly welcome. Extensive menu at beyond reasonable prices. The food was hot, tasty and fresh / large portions. Chips were lovely, dry and crispy. Toasties were like door stops, oozing with tasty melted cheese, with a nice fresh salad and coleslaw on the side. We watched as dishes were served to other tables......the biggest breakfast I've ever seen and a proper decent steak pie with flaky pastry. The bloke on the next table even had a pint of beer with his lunch. All the sauces, ketchups/mayo, etc were branded...no cheap substitutes. Would find it hard to beat so will defo return.

Great place for food at decent prices. Plenty of options on menu and food is delicious. There's plenty of seating available. Staff are very pleasant. The cafe is very clean.

Had lunch here today and it was delicious! Tasty food, generous portions. Quick and friendly table service and nice clean toilets. Reasonably priced too. Will definitely go again and would recommend to others.

What a hidden gem of a cafe this is , I came across this place today as I was hungry and it completely exceeded my expectations. Large Cod ,Chips and peas at £ 6.95 was fabulous with the freshest Cod bigger than the plate , and so crispy batter was delicious....

Wow how big was the breakfast. For a normal breakfast it was huge and this came with a free drink all for £7.95. I don't know how they do it , but I am glad they do. A massive thank you from us all.

Fantastic traditional Cafe with great prices and a very extensive menu. We always come here for lunch on our holiday and never dissapoint. Love the selection of toasties sandwiches, jacket potatoes and baguettes. Great quality of bacon, ham and other goodies. The ladies in charge of service are fast, super friendly and efficient. Puddings and coffee are also excellent!

Absolutely the best service I've ever had in any cafe in blackpool! The staff and chef are brilliant and for me that's rare to say! It's very hard to come by decent staff nowadays, food is amazing and the price (again another thing I hardly ever say) is just right! Go here if you want good food, service and great price

This really is a lovely cafe , it looks lovely and clean from outside its big and airey inside . The staff are very cheerful, I ordered sandwich and a pot of tea. The young girl is full of smiles and the sandwich was full of ham which was really proper ham not the cheap stuff. This is really one of the best cafes in Blackpool. The toilets are also very very clean . If anyone needs a decent place to sit and eat , then deans gate kitchen is the place to go . It’s places like this service like this is why they always get smiled at and tipped . Food was very inexpensive streak pie chips peas was £5.95 and you get plenty and if you eat before a certain time you get a free cuppa , which as I say comes in a pot and you can get 3 cups from it and that is also Hot and Fresh . Well done girls you will see my custom again .

We always make sure we visit the cafe. The food is served freshly cooked. Great choice of food from sandwiches salads steak fresh fish. Never disappointed when we visit. The girls are great and work really hard to ensure your not kept waiting . Best pot of tea in Blackpool. Great value for money.

Superb fish and chips with mushy peas for under 7 quid. The fish was massive and the chips were crisp and perfectly cooked. Staff are very pleasant too. I'll be visiting this gem very frequently in the future.

Ansolutely love this place! Good, varied menu with something for pretty much everyone. The staff are lovely and service very quick and efficient. The food is always served piping hot and freshly cooked. Prices are very reasonable for what you get and the chef (who I think is also the owner) always has a friendly word for his customers. Can’t fault it!

Deansgate is the only cafe in Blackpool I am prepared to eat at. As a vegan I appreciate the choices I'm given. The chef us VERY accommodating. I recommend this cafe to all comers.

We visited here yesterday, the food was lovely and a reasonable price.My negative comment is about the Kitchen being open plan........ I hope yesterday was just a one off as it would be a shame if the staff and customers had to endure the attitude of the chef/manager everyday. Surely it would be much better for the kitchen to be closed if if the chef / manager has to be complaining about the staff and that he “can’t cope or work with those girls”.The place wasn’t full, we were sat near the door and could hear everything....... not exactly what customers want to hear.

Popped in to deansgate kitchen, found a table, the staff was very lovely & friendly. We ordered a breakfast, two toasted tea cakes, pot of tea & cappuccino. Everything was served very well & the breakfast was tasty & good value for money.

Looked at the reviews and decided to give it a try ! The place looks like it has just been refurbished. I choose the Lasagna and garlic bread which was very Hot and Tasty which at £4.25 has to be the best value meal I’ve had in years My Husband had a Steak Baguette with lots of fried onions £4.50 which was also fantastic .Service was great even though the place was nearly full. We had 2 glasses of wine the total bill included a well earned tip was £15

Visited this cafe on a recommendation from a friend. Wow! Had great meal! The mixed grill was ginormous! My wife had the cheese and onion toastie. Loved it ! Great value for money. We will be back!!

Absolutely love this place. Everytime I'm in Blackpool which is every 6 weeks. I treat myself to a full English. Huge portions good quality. So much more than a greasy spoon. 3 minute walk from opera house. Take a walk away from the greasy crud served on the front. Treat yourself

We visit every Saturday. Full Monty breakfast is a great price and very filling. Staff are friendly and Julie is a credit to the team. Conversations by the customers can be fun a bit like Jeremy Kyle throw backs.
