tikka massala had really thick sauce, onion bhaji was tasteless and very dry. not their usual quality from previous experience.

Living in Brownsover it is local to me so over the years I have gone there a few times, and new management 3 times,the latest owners have got it right. The meals we have had have been great, good ingredients and always well prepared and hot, and they always give a discount.

Food never turned up. Restaurant staff not very helpful, said the food had been sent out. Waited around for nearly 3 hours in all. My son was so upset as he was looking forward to it.

Accepted my order on Uber then cancelled it after 15-20 mins!

Order not received. ordered nearly 3 hours ago and restaurant have said order already delivered.

The delivery driver complained it was too far, I paid for delivery, they had my location and delivered to the same place before?? ( It was a just eat driver and the food was really good) I discovered the curry container was crushed and it had leaked everywhere in the carrier bag. The Poppadom was soft mostly, like it was a day old and also crushed into pieces, I think it was £1.40 for that delight.. The Onion bhajis were not cooked properly, just dough inside I could of used to deep fry my own.

Didnt get my food and the phone number is a spam number.

Like many others food never delivered. Everyone should complain to just-eat as I did. Enough complaints and hopefully De-Raj will be removed off their service.

It says delivered but still not here.. Ordered at 5:40, estimated delivery of 6:30-6:50. Says delivered but is is 7:05 and it is still isnt here. Nearly 90mins from first ordering

Waited 3 hours for food and it did not arrive. Tried calling but was unable to get through. I went to the shop to get a refund and the manager said he was not refunding me and became very aggressive. I was not the only person in the shop with the same issue. This place needs shutting down!! Taking people’s money and not delivering their food! I have not reported this to my bank and requesting a refund through them.

Avoid !!! No food turned up! The manager Abdul refused a refund and just verbally abused me!

I spent £60 on food and it never turned up! 4 times I spoke to the restaurant and they said it was on its way. I was told I was not allowed a refund 3 hours after my order still had not arrived. we ordered at 8.30pm it's now 11.30pm and no food. absolutely appalled by the service and attitude of the restaurant. I will never order again and I will be expecting a refund or I will be going to the trading standards

I am very unsatisfied with the service, provided and customer service received, food was due at 10.05pm latest called the restaurant whom had no idea where is driver was couldnt give me a time frame in which i should receive my food.

I initially entered the wrong address so cancelled my order and replaced it to add the right address - The food was delivered to the FIRST address. I no longer have contact with the person at this address so want to request a refund immediately.

please don't order here missing items & food that was delivered very late was stale poppadoms & rock hard onion bhajis & when I called was really rude & just offered free meal next as I would order again! feel sorry for delivery drivers!

Called restaurant and asked for the Dhansak to be mild not spicy as I always do wherever I order from. They said no problem but when delivered it wasn’t mild.

Ordered from just eat and Food was late by 30 minutes and my god when it arrived it was awful. I had to bin it, tasted like it was off. I hope I don’t get food poisoning.

Delivery time was ok. Food was awful. Everything was cold, chips were absolutely covered in grease to the point the bag was soaking wet. Curry tasted horrible all the meat was dry. Would definitely not order from this place again.

Onion bhaji was over cooked and rock solid, couldn’t even bite it. Totally inedible, wrong drinks were sent. Rest of items were dissapointing.

Food arrived at room temperature. Onion Bhaji remains very good. Samosa's size was pitiful no bigger then one bite. Order tracking did not provide live updates.

De raj has always been our place to go for an Indian meal but after tonight we won’t be using it again. If you are going to put a 50% off offer on at least keep it to your normal standards. Tikka chicken masala- absolutely no flavour Kiema rice. - no where near as tasty as usual Kiema naan breads - my god were green and very doughy We also had chicken chatt which was read and very greasy Mix kebab starter again very greasy Bombay potatoes all sauce hardly no potatoes Pompadom no dips or salad and the way they were crushed up looked like they had been danced on. Won’t be coming back again we are actually wondering if these are under new management

Not great quality the korma sauce was bland had no coconut taste the popadom was smashed up the nan breads were not nice

Chicken pakora was 4 tiny bits of chicken, food tasted of nothing but cooking oil, chicken korma was as runny tap water.! The whole was a disappointment!!!!

The order was an hour late and had been in transit for 53 mins so a mix of congealed, sweated and barely warm - and for us, 9pm on a Sunday night is far too late to enjoy eating. So disappointed. Normally love this place.

Was over an hour when I called to say food was late was told it was on its way. A further 50 mins later called again to be told they were unable to deliver and to cancel the order.

Very let down by this place. The normally cook me a very nice lamb samba. But ordered one last night around 10pm and it was awful!! They had laced it with sugar and I dont think the meat was even lamb! I had to bin it! If I wanted a pudding I would have asked for one!

Unfortunately the food was late by about 30 minutes which was disappointing as the food was warm. The quality of some of our order could be improved, mainly the vegetable spring rolls. I have messaged the restaurant asking for a part refund and this hasn't been answered as yet.

I will start off by saying the madras itself was excellent with chicken perfectly cooked, it’s a shame everything else was so poor. Poppadoms came with salad which was a bag of Iceburg lettuce and one cherry tomato. Not sure why they it serving with bad of dice up onions etc like everyone else. Lettuce doesn’t go with poppadoms. Meat samosa starter £3.75 consisted of two miniature samosas not much bigger than a dairylea triangle. Tiny amount of meat filling. When you can buy 50 proper size samosas in Birmingham or cov for £35 you know that you have just been ripped off. Garlic Naan had no taste of garlic, very strange texture. Rice was clumped together in hard lumps with majority of it being inedible. Chips were soggy and sweaty and tbh probably some of the worst chips I have ever eaten. So to sum up they do a great curry, it’s just a shame every thing else is terrible.

The food rice was inedible, the curry was standard. Chips cold. Naan bread tasted like some kind of cleaning product was on the surface as it was made. Poor quality over all.

Not the usual standard. Poppadoms were soft, onion bhajis and the chips both very soft/soggy as if they had been sitting for a long time. Disappointing.

The butter chicken and peshwari Naan were good but the briyani was not well made. Tasted like it was rushed.

the samosas were extremely spicy hot which didn't allow enjoying any flavours. the biryani is kind of mild to medium spicy but bland salt wise. I requested the free item to be removed. unfortunately, they didn't read the note and now I have to throw it. I wish next time the samosas won't be that spicy, and to read the note to avoid food waste. thank you.

Anyone that has rated this 5 stars does not know a decent curry. Shop bought pre-made naan, chewy chicken and far too much salt in the madras sauce. The delivery was very early, however, is not always a good sign when considering freshness takes time.

Food was great however driver didn’t read instructions and rang doorbell which woke whole house up at 11pm

Ordered 18.11 arrived 19.27 after originally saying 40 mins. Driver was apologetic. However food although a bit on the cold side was very tasty. Salad for chicken tikka was missing and no mint in the mint dip. Portions were very good and food looked and tasted great. Positives outweighed the negatives would use again

We normally have a great meal. However, this time our food was an hour late and the paneer we ordered was burnt and tasted foul! A real shame as the meal total cost was £ 45, which is a lot when you are on a budget and your takeaway is your weekly treat meal. Really disappointed.

Placed order at 7:15, automatically got signed off at 8:30 rang the restaurant twice to be told it’s on the way, very rude and cut the phone off, good didn’t arrive till 9:30 and it was cold! Service was disgusting and food was disappointing, half my order was missing but by this point I gave up calling the restaurant, will never be ordering from here again!

Latest should of arrive 820 arrived at 9 COLD rang restaurant and was fobbed off n passed to diff members of staff Offered to deliver another meal but again would have to wait. So too late. I’m asking for my money back

That was the best Indian takeaway we have had in years! On time, delivered by a pleasant person, piping hot and very tasty, cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients. With the 40% off over £25 it was also very affordable, we will definitely go nowhere else for an Indian takeaway after that meal.

Food was delivered extremely late. When contacted for update I was given a new time. The food still didn't arrive. After 15 mins beyond the updated time I contacted again and was given a new time. The food didn't arrive until 15 mins beyond that second time. Extremely late, communication was poor, food was lukewarm at time of arrival. Restaurant unwilling to accept fault.
