Lovely food and nice size portions

Very unhappy. Over 45 minutes late

Terrible, waited nearly 2 hours and couldn’t even send the correct food and then had the cheek to ask me to collect what I had actually ordered after I rang up to complain, absolute joke🤦🏻‍♂️

Been using this takeaway for yrs.

Delivery was a bit late but it was a Saturday, and roadworks near my house made traffic bad. Plus the food was nice as always so it was worth the wait.

Ordered at 7-03 didn’t arrive till 21-04. Food was fine but didn’t really want it by the time it arrived

Never had a bad order from De Bao! Always quality food that goes down well! Not sure why others complain, always compliments my end!

Food took over 2 hours to arrive, portions were a good size but way too salty

I had to collect to food myself after waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes when I did go for the food it was cold and the woman was very rude I will not be ordering from De Bao ever again

De Bao is literally the BEST chinese food I've ever had! And trust me I've had a few! The food is amaaaazing, good prices and the staff are all lovely. I ordered with them direct instead of paying via a 3rd party and saved £7.29 on a meal for one! The delivery was a lot quicker than was showing on the 3rd party app too. Would highly recommend 🥰🥰🥰

Ordered from here last night ended up in a&e with food poisoning would not recommend going here at all took 2 hrs to deliver

Food is lovely from here no problems with that, however the delivery time/ estimated delivery time is shocking

The food at this takeaway is superb and my first choice for a meal. Their prices are good and you do get value for money. X

Over 2 hours late delivery, food flat cold and soggy, had to call the shop 4x and it only started getting cooked over 2 hours into our wait time. Delivery was then suppose to occur- it took 45 minutes to then deliver. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, cannot get a refund after £40 spent, ridiculous, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Just 3 mins late but food was delicious 😋

Ordered my food at 6pm didn’t come till 7:15pm on opening my order the food was cold, chips had been reheated again and again till there was no potato, sweet and sour sauce nothing saucy about!! Salt n pepper prawns was covered in chillies and undercooked…. Find it sad really as this used to be my go to Chinese for a very long time never again

spring rolls had no filling in or flavour. ribs bkand and chewy. prawn toast had no prawns in it, but some horrible mayonnaise like substance. crispy duck pancakes were not crispy but unchewable and the sauce wrong consistency and flavour. would not recommend.

Encourage you to spend over 20 then charge 5 for delivery and food is cold hardly any chicken tub full of onions

Delivery normally good, but not tonight. No updates on the app. Called twice to find out where my order was. food was as good as ever, didn't enjoy as much because of the late delivery.

Consistently good food, as always. Delivery was delayed, showed up at the last minute within the new time slot, then the driver seemed to want to stop for a chat. Probably not the best time for this if orders are having to be delayed.

We ordered our food 2 hours ago. It’s now 30mins late from the latest estimated time of delivery. This has happened every time we have ordered. The food is good. But we won’t be ordering from here again.

The food was no better or worse than other establishments although the portion sizes were large apart from the soup that was rather small in comparison. Initially the delivery time was quoted as 55 minutes to 70 minutes whereas it was 2 hours before delivered!!!

All the food was lukewarm and too greasy like it had been re-heated - spare ribs didn’t taste of anything and the duck was not tasty.

No update and an hour late. Not been an issue before. Ribs were tough and grissly. Left these. Noodle dishes were fine. Really disappointing as previously the delivery has been good and food fresher.

Horrendous, ordered at 6.25 expected delivery at 7.25. Food arrived 8.50 and cold. Delivery diver said didn’t leave shop till 8.20. Won’t be using these idiots again…. Stay clear

Ordered at 18:30pm. Latest delivery time was 20:10. Rang them at 20:30 and they said it was “number 3 in the kitchen” and “would be 30 mins”. It’s 21:30 and still no food and no option to inform JustEat on non delivery of food. Not good enough.

Cold food and well over an hour late. Disappointing. Won’t be ordering again.

The chicken in the chow mein was very dry and there wasn’t many noodles, along with not having much sauce and the salt and pepper chicken wasn’t more batter than chicken

Really good food! One of my top 3 choices. Lovely friendly staff. And the food is INCREDIBLE! Alway boiling Hot, the boxes are as full as you could possibly get them. Good quantity and quality! Would 100% recommend

Will never order from here again ordered at 7.45 came up with estimated time 9 was prepared to wait hadn’t arrived by 9.30 phoned up told it was on its way phoned 15 mins later to be told it had just come out of kitchen phoned again 15 mins later to be told it had just left when I said she’d said that before she said she hadn’t received it at 10.15 even the driver couldn’t believe we’d waited so long. Might have been nice if it wasn’t cold rubbish customer service

the food taste amazing and the portion size was great, shame about the delivery time and also stating it was delivered on time when it wasn't.

Never arrived waited over the recommended time. When requested an update it said it would be here soon. Never turned up and even if it did it would have been cold. My advice is if you going to run a takeaway at least have drivers to deliver otherwise DONT STEAL PEOPLES MONEY.

Ordered at 18.15 for delivery at 19,35 at the latest. Food finally came at 20.10. Poor.

Absolutely disgusting delivery service. Was told on 3 occasions our meal were on the way with delivery driver but also told it was awaiting a driver after it was supposedly been on its way. Lied basically to get business. Over 2.5 hrs from order to finally delivery.

Always love this place, best value in Huddersfield despite the delivery fee, and great quality food.

So frustrating. Ordered soft noodles, beef with a cashew nuts and salt and pepper chicken wings. The noodles were all in bits like some second hand food. Or food thats been reused and mixed together. It has put me off my whole meal !! Not eaten a thing. Waste of £15 and i still have to make dinner now. Wont be eating here again. Also the beef and cashew tasted weird like burnt pan.

Great food and great service every time. This should be 5*. my concern is about the move to using recyclable tubs (which on paper is brilliant), however the new plastic lids melt and warp into the food. My concern is this will cause plastic chemicals to get into the food, which can be carcinogenic, hormone interferers and even DNA changers. please review the type of lids you use with urgency.

Huge portions, arrived so Hot I nearly burnt myself, tasted really good. Arrived exactly when they said it would. WOULD 100% order again! The £5 delivery charge was a bit of a bit off but the food was worth it.
