Great fish and chips and good service

Went here at about 22:30 on a Friday we were the only customers. Had to wait a while as the cooked the chips. The portions here are extremely generous a small portion of chips is more than enough for one person the large portion would be enough for 2 people to share. Food was lovely. Be advised they only take cash.

I don’t now who the F is giving good reviews on this place it seems like it’s not going to be long until it’s closed down the shop is half empty with minimal equipment,the kebab meat looks like it’s been there for a month,I got chips and burgers well the chips look and taste like they have been reheated 3 times over and the burgers were from a heated pot so no way was they fresh my kids ate half and the rest went in the bin the whole lot was disgusting 🤮

Fish smelled off. Ammonia taint, we had to bin it. Never had that before. Usually very good but won't be back.

Really nice food! Portion size, was really overwhelming... ordered large chips to share with hubby, but enough there for an family of five! Found my new fish and chip shop now, after not having them for awhile, due to the disappointment of Mr fry, carnation road!

Tonight I had the best fish and chips ever! I have been using this Fish Bar for many years and the quality of the food has always been excellent, but I went for the large cod tonight and my goodness, it was huge! You and your staff/family have worked so hard throughout the years and it's to your credit, as the food you serve, is te best.

Refused to take a Scottish £20 note. Had to go to the shop next door to buy something.

Honestly the best fish and chip shop in medway, I once strayed to bryant road fish bar and the food was hideous (wouldn't even feed my dog it), which drove me to write a review for my local which deserves commending. The freshest fish and chips!

As a family we stayed in the local premier inn looked online for a local chippy this one came up thought we try it, well my husband order fish and chips for him fish was massive and me and my little girl had sausage and chips very nice one large portion was all we needs very generous
