Darlish in City of London, Westminster

Visited with our son on Friday Great choices. We ordered lemon sorbet, Turkish Coffee and another flavour. The ice creams although expensive are bigger portions

Visited the Spitalfields branch. Found it by accident. It was quite busy but managed to get a table. We ordered a chocolate and a peanut butter ice cream. They were both delicious. We intend to go again

My wife loves baklava so when I went online and searched for ice cream near me this ice cream parlour came up with a baklava ice cream sandwich. It is £8 which may seem expensive but the portions were huge.

Ice Cream is obviously what Darlish specializes in but I went against the grain and had a drink. As fan of Cherry, I didn't hesitate to get the SOUR cherry soda at Darlish. Priced at £5, I was quite upset when I saw it being made that I didn't even want it because I was expecting it to be made with soda water or the sparkling Evian cans in the fridge and not Sprite. To make it even worse it was Sprite Zero which has these awful sweeteners. Overall, I didn't like the drink because of the sweetness which defeats the purpose of being a sour cherry drink. On top of that I didn't like the overpowering taste of sprite which they should have renamed the drink Sprite and sour cherry. If I wanted to drink Sprite, I would get it myself not for a fiver. I know Darlish specializes in ice cream but I thought the Sour Cherry soda was unique which was why I got it.

The salted lemon & poppyseed ice cream is amazing!! So delicious! Highly recommend a visit - can’t go to Spitalfields now without going to Darlish!

Unique Middle Eastern style ice creams. I stumbled upon this shop by chance and decided to try the Salted Lemon and Poppyseed flavor. It was very satisfying - a great unique flavor with just the right amount of creaminess. Would definitely return.

I'd heard so many things about the ice cream here and their baklava sandwich. It was so disappointing..the baklava is cold and although nice it just didn't work being cold with the ice cream. The ice cream itself wasn't that great either and for £7.50 it definitely isn't worth it. The reason for an extra rating is that the service here was superb. Just a shame about the product.

Too much ado about… average ice cream experience. Original flavours, but a basic execution. Granted, we come with big expectations as we’re from Belgium.

There are so many delicious ice creams to try, every time I’m in Covent Garden I stop by Darlish. If it’s your first time, order the famous ice cream sandwich with the classic saffron, rose and pistachio ice cream. It’s the most delicious dessert I’ve ever tasted, it’s to die for!

A small ice cream shop located close to the tube station. Unique flavours and amazing baklava to accompany the ice cream. Portion size is decent for the charge, giving good value for money.

I was walking in St Albans with a friend of mine and bumped into a capturing list of Ice-cream flavours. I asked my friend to go in and try since the flavours sound amazing! I ordered a Baklawa sandwich with Saffron, pistachio and rose ice-cream. Oh god, oh dear, it was soooooo yum! I’ve never enjoyed an ice-cream dessert in a long time, but this was the best I’ve ever had!! Def worth the try!! I want to go on every ‘sin day’ of the week :p

This new place had people teeming outside the door. Amazing flavours of ice cream. After a not so nice Indian meal...this really made up for cleansing my palate. Try the rose sorbet or sour cherry ice cream. Well done!

Unfortunately just a pop-up so far, but should become a fixture - the flavours are unusual and a welcome departure from the omnipresent salt caramel. Good smooth texture, not too sweet, generous servings, friendly service.
