We came here because our usual favourite restaurant had closed. Food here was very ordinary

It was perfect. Good meal, lovely atmosphere, friendly service. Reasonably priced food.

Great food - the fish soup is full of flavor and supplemented with a small basket of tasty bread, king prawn risotto is super delicious Good service, only £14.8 for two courses at lunch is absolutely worth for value Only a small drawback is that the cappuccino is just fair

Hugely disappointing. The starters and main course were fine but the time taken to serve each course was pathetic. I’m a patient man but waiting 55 mins between courses, with not a sniff of attention from the waiters, in restaurant that is barely half full, simply isn’t good enough. We skipped the sweets (even though we’d paid for them) because we couldn’t be bothered waiting another life time.

Fantastic meal and lovely service. We both had the two course lunchtime deal - sea bass followed by panna cotta. Both courses were delicious. Would highly recommend!

Delicious food, great atmosphere and service! We went as a group of 7 for lunch and were very pleased with everything! Food was good quality and great value too, the service was efficient and polite! Would definitely return

Wow, what a surprise! Honestly didn’t have high expectations, but I was wrong. Food and service are outstanding and I don’t remember when was last time I had such a scrumptious buttata e fish soup. Service is great, fair prices and the dishes are served with style, almost like fine dining. It’s a quiet place and it’s perfect for a date or if you don’t like loud restaurants. I definitely recommend and I will be back for sure. Didn’t see many people for a Friday night and I really hope this place will get the popularity that deserve. Thank you

We turned up unexpectedly on Sunday afternoon,there was four of us and we had a delicious leisurely lunch .Food was good and the staff were excellent

The restaurant we was going to was closed, so we stumbled upon D'Angelo and we are so glad we did. The food was amazing. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. The restaurant was very nice and it was clean. Certainly our new favourite place. Will definitely be back.

This place is brilliant, and quite easily the best restaurant on Orpington High Street. I have now been twice, once with party of 9. Seafood and fish is super fresh and very well cooked. We enjoyed a variety of dishes - starter grilled prawns, fried calamari, mains prawn risotto, seafood linguine, lamb shanks, salmon, all were very good. Happy to recommend to anyone!

The staff were really nice and the food was great. I would say not the best for vegetarians as a lot of the veggie dishes included non veggie hard cheese. I also felt there was a tad too much sage in my sauce but know that is just preference. Otherwise we had a lovely time and I know my other half is keen to go again.

Just had a fantastic dinner here … must be the best food in Orpington. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for … really high quality ingredients superbly well cooked and presented. Lovely discrete service too. Can recommend for groups or romantic dinner.

2021: Great quality food with high standards, friendly welcoming staff. Excellent management. Great for lunch or dinner or even just a few limoncellos and a tiramisu 2022 Feel like the standards here have slipped a little from last year! Reducing a star. Still a nice place eat but not so exceptional now.

Our second visit to this fabulous restaurant, we were celebrating with friends and were made to feel really special. The food is amazing, (the scallops are to die for) and all the staff are totally professional and super friendly. The background music (which is not too loud, we were able to chat perfectly normally) gives the place a really cool vibe, and we even got to choose some of it! By far the best restaurant in Orpington, well done to Luca and his lovely Team. We'll definitely be returning.

In short: my new favourite restaurant. The decor was a mix of elements which all came together beautifully, the staff were all very pleasant, helpful and smiling throughout, the food was presented very well, every little detail was perfect, and then came the actual taste of the food. I had the Rib-Eye Steak, medium, with a glass of Merlot. The wine was subtle and pleasant (I wish we had got the bottle) but the steak was incredible, it was honestly enough to make me smile just from the taste alone. The whole experience was a perfect setting for a night out with the woman I love. Simply far better than anything I thought I would find at my local highstreet. I am kicking myself for not trying it sooner.

Amazing food and service, we were sad to finish our plates, it was that great! The place looks comfy and fancy, but modern, at the same time, and the presentation of the dishes is very inviting, you cannot resist! Vegetarian and vegan options though are lacking, it would be perfect otherwise. :)

Brilliant meal at D'angelos. I would describe the menu/meals as french contemporary. Beef filet and lamb were incredible. Service very attentive. Good value!

Amazing food, very clean inside, the workers are very nice, over all I will go back, the people in the kitchen know what they are doing.

Lovely meal again! Excellent friendly staff. Can we suggest that they buy some art work or something for the rear of the restaurant to enhance the dining experience as it is a little bland and cold feeling to further enhance the superb dining experience.

Very good place for food and drinks

Have lunched about half a dozen times taking various friends during the summer with set lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the experience….. however ….. never, never again again will I darken their doors. Same helpful staff but the food was not great. No … I didn’t complain as I was embarrassed because I was taking another guest … what on earth are they serving for the cured salmon …. Was it cardboard? Sorry, Luca, so enjoyed again the chat … but please … no … surely someone in your kitchen knew this was substandard … if not ??? Cannot imagine ??

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at D'Angelos this evening. Great food with excellent service that was not slow or interrupted by motorcycle takeouts. A very pleasant night out. Thank you

This place is AMAZING. The staff are super friendly, and the food is out if this world. The attention to detail is incredible, by far the BEST Italian around 👌. I came across D'Angelo whilst working in the area and they made my evenings every time I went in

An excellent addition to the Orpington High Street restaurant chain, very calm beautiful inside nice vibes well cooked food very clean lights are set at just the right mood for a table for 2 heated area for smokers. Highly recommended 💥🦋💥

Went here with family, including two young children. Staff were quick, friendly and professional. The food was absolutely gorgeous. Had cote de beouf which was some of the best steak we’ve had in many years. Even the kids meals was cooked from scratch and some of best chicken nuggets I’ve ever had! Absolutely delicious and well worth visiting. Great addition to Orpington.

This place was absolutely AMAZING. Me and girlfriend like to eat out a lot and it's the first time in a while we've been wowed by a non chain restaurant. The food was perfect and we both had a cocktail each which were both top notch as well. Luca was our host and gave us great service and genuine conversation. 100% would reccomend!

First time to this restaurant and was not disappointed. Started with Tempura prawns had 5 large prawns they were delicious as was my main dish of cod. Staff really attentive and friendly .

What an amazing experience a must for food lovers, service is outstanding top off with a great atmosphere. It's now my regular for lunch, dinner or just a coffee when strolling along the High Street. Well done to Luca and the team!!!!

Went on a Friday evening. Food was top-notch - really high quality. Cocktails were nice but a bit excessive on the alcohol content so the taste was a bit off. Prices reasonable. Menu simple but interesting and varied enough. Service was friendly but a bit loud, over-familiar and rough round the edges. It was noisy in there with a big table of drunks at the back getting wasted shouting and howling with laughter at regular intervals. Decor was very sparse and the bare wooded floors with bare walls a bit like an open food hall amplified the accoustics in the place from noisy to extremely noisy - I had trouble hearing what the other people on my own table were saying! I couldn't really relax whilst eating or enjoy the conversation of my dining companions. Lighting was quite dim to the point it was difficult to read the menu.

Went this evening with a table for 5. Never been before but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and staff attentive. Great to have this restaurant in Orpington. Well done guys. I will be back! Would recommend.

Really impressed with this place!! Food was faultless and service was even better. The staff had a great energy and the restaurant has been fitted out to a high spec. Been to most of the restaurants in Orpington and this tops them. Even created a special mocktail for my pregnant wife. Be back soon!

Lovely food and very helpful pleasant service especially from a young friendly coloured girl who made you feel at home, Great music oldies though a notch too loud. Attention to detail and presentation amazing No added service or cover charge for extra butter and bread so on this rare occasion gave a tip. Prices are very reasonable.

Such a lovely restaurant. One of our favourites and absolutely the best authentic Italian in the local area. The fish is fresh, meat is juicy and drinks menu is very nice.

The brownie and Ice-cream was real nice but I originally wanted a slice of choc fudge cake which they didn't have. my French Martini tasted like pure alcohol "not cute", my sister liked her nutella crepes but they forgot about her lemonade which came 10 mins after she had eater her food, service was slow. Their was a kids party going on behind us and they were so loud screaming, popping balloons and staff did nothing, It was our first time eating here btw I promised my sister I'd take her
