Realmente acogedor justo cuando cruzamos la puerta, muy hospitalario para nosotros dos divagantes destrozados después de que hicimos una caminata de 13 millas y tuvimos que ir más lejos! No paramos por mucho tiempo, solo para tomar dos deliciosos filetes de pastelería que nos ordenaron correctamente! Gran charla, realmente disfruté de la vibra, y volveré seguro para comprobar el resto de ese menú, ya que tengo familia en la zona. ¡Gran amor de Hertfordshire! - Jo

Si no puedes responder a las preguntas de manera educada durante el almuerzo, entonces tal vez piense de nuevo en estar en servicio al cliente. Sentí que los molestaba al entrar. Muchos lugares bonitos en la calle principal.

Me sirvió Sam, hizo mi chocolate caliente, estaba a la temperatura ideal y muy agradable. Gran servicio, Sam era muy atento. El lugar tiene un gran ambiente. Recomiendo encarecidamente. Gracias.

Había estado bien aquí hasta ahora. Pedí una tocino a tope. Fue muy gordo. Mencioné esto al final y mencionaron que tenían problemas con el tocino. Intentaban corregirlo. Increíble. Me dejaron ordenar y pagar y luego me dijeron. Hubo una débil disculpa.

Justo fuera del tubo de East Finchley es este pequeño oasis de delicioso café. Me sorprendió muy gratamente el sabor de mi café con leche. Me encantó

This is a great coffee shop and the bacon sandwiches are amazing. Nice interior and friendly and helpful staff. Great choice of food which all looked good. Quick service and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Easy to find just over the road from the East Finchley Tube Station. A great place for breakfast or brunch.

Get there early to get the biggest choice of sandwiches, pastries and cakes! I always go here for the vegan breakfast sandwich - I'm not vegan but it is the best thing ever. It is packed with sausage, hash brown, vegan cheese, spinach and the special sauce on sour dough toasted bread. The coffee is amazing and the staff are excellent. There are tables to sit at and dogs are welcome. My only gripe would be that the floor could do with a really good clean - especially on wet days.

Love this cute little cafe in east Finchley. I have been going here for 2 years now. They have nicest staff that always ask how you're doing. Very well made coffee and pastries. Try their vegan cinnamon roll!!

In East Finchley for a meeting I saw Dean and Decarlo’s opposite the station. I had vegan breakfast. Warm and welcoming staff and the best vegan breakfast I’ve had in a very long time! Excellent.

The food is okay, the waitresses are indifferent, almost rude. My first expresso, served in a huge cup, was ice cold, the sugar didn’t melt. I never complain, but asked for another, it was also cold. No spoons or stirrers on table, too echoing in the back

I witnessed the waitress being homophobic about a customer after he left the premises. He had asked about the contents of the vegan sausages and the staff didn’t know - because they’re package bought (according to the chef) - and after leaving the premises she started to mimic his voice and gestures. I challenged her and she was aggressive and walked off saying “I’m done with this place”

This place is a hidden gem, we were having a day out in London & decided to grab some breakfast from here. So glad we did, absolutely delicious, high quality food! Would definitely recommend, one of the best cooked breakfasts I’ve had :)

I crossed the road from East Finchley Tube station to have a look out of curiosity, very much liked the look of the food and the menu, so ordered a bacon bagel and sat down by the huge shop-front window while the food was freshly prepared. It was absolutely delicious: I usually don’t like bacon if it’s not crispy. This was well cooked, not crispy, but not fatty either. Lovely smoky aroma, good amount of ketchup, warm and squidgy bagel. Yum. Simple. Perfect. I’ve read the other reviews and was dismayed that some people had been negative about their experiences of the staff, but then I realised that I had subconsciously been expecting a sort of Dan or Decarlo as front of house greeter, or some kind of host with whom to engage/exchange a few words/have a smile - that’s what’s maybe missing here. The waitress and chefs are too busy to fill that role. The food shows that there’s a huge amount of warmth and love gone into this place - I wanted there to be someone to say thank you to, who would take it personally.

The woman waitress/server and baristas are awful at customer service. Really rude and ignorant, like they don't want to serve you. They don't even wear masks, not one of the staff.

The barista/servers don't pay attention to customers, they make us feel like we're in their way, that's if they even notice us in the first place. I went today and the staff even became aggressive when I dared to ask if I could order instead of standing there listening to a personal conversation.

I was waiting in line when the customer in front asked if he could order when staff was ignoring because chatting with a friend. They ended up jumping out from behind counter and threatening a fight at door.

Paid 6 quid for a raw pork sausage sandwich. The restaurant allowed a customer to be served with no mask, despite the customer saying they just forgot their mask, and masks being available at the entrance. Shocking breach of COVID rules at a time when East Finchley has the South African variant. Overall a terrible experience at a place that I’ve visited on a number of occasions, and I won’t go back again

I was craving a healthy breakfast but was too lazy to make the trip and found that D&D delivered. I was not disappointed the food came quickly and was as fresh and as tasty as if I had gone to the cafe myself. Well worth the money and satisfied my craving thats for sure! Will do a delivery again.

It’s social distancing and treating myself to some delivery. On the one occasion I received my order it was delicious though the wrong order .. on further two occasions after several delays (almost an hour today) with Uber eats my order was cancelled. Very disappointing. I realise these are challenging times but if you are not set up to deliver don’t open. I will not try again.

Stopped here for lunch on our Capital Ring walk. The cafe is located across the road from East Finchley tube station. The cafe is pleasantly bright and modern with equally modern food and drink choices such as turmeric latte, vegan hot chocolate and avocado on sourdough toast. Both of us ordered a haloumi sourdough toastie. Arguably, it could have arrived on a bigger plate and with some cutlery, but the sandwich itself was beautiful: piled high with roasted vegetables, hummus and big, juicy slices of haloumi. Encouraged by such tastiness we ordered afters as well. My husband went for a raspberry muffin, which he really enjoyed. I had a pastel de nata, which was delicious. I would have given this place 5* if it hadn't been for the somewhat miserable waitress. She appeared to be scowling at all the customers and was a bit of a downer on what could have been a cheery sort of place. The other staff member, a chap wearing glasses, was a lot friendlier though..

The cafe is a good looking well presented venue. The chef is smiley, helpful but somewhat overwhelmed. Food product is good although mostly sold out at 1 pm on Sunday. But the potentially pretty waitress is a sour puss with real ‘attitude’. She spoilt the whole experience. Needs to learn about adapting to different types of customers and that comes with experience, common sense and empathy of which she had none.
