Went here and thought it can’t be bad due to just having a latte and a cake. I thought wrong, half a cup of coffee I received and the two cakes I received for a friend and I had obviously been lying out too long. Won’t be back

This should be renamed Lazy Delicious. The food was passable although given the time it took to deliver our baked poatoes to the table (one at a time) I was surprised that they were not propewrly cooked through. My wife's potato was delivered first, (but not until after we'd sat for 25 minutes and complained) then mine was delivered. Later my wife's coffee was delivered (again after I'd complained about the terrible service) and then later still my tea. I won't be back and certainly wouldn't recommend it

No volveremos

Had a quick lunch before bus. Ordered savoury scone and goats cheese & roast pepper panini. Both very tasty and fresh, very reasonably priced. Set up was pay at counter and given a number. Seating area is out beside Next entrance, but easy enough to get a seat away from it. Tables aren’t cramped neither. Only thing service was slightly slow and a few tables hadn’t been cleared.

The food was good. The service was something else. Staff took the order we paid but they seem to have lost the order slip and we had to remind them after 10 min that we were still waiting as customers who came in after us were served with their food. It took another 3 members of staff to ask what our order was before we got it complete another 10 min later. Only one member of staff gave an apology and that was because a senior member of staff told her to.

Had a light lunch here on 20th February with my friend; we both picked a baked potato - not the most difficult thing to cook you would think but I have had some awful experiences with badly burnt or not cooked so hard potatoes but I can honestly say it was the best baked potato I have ever had! Beautifully cooked to perfection - even the skin. Bought some home made brownies to take home and they were amazing too! The girl who served us was very friendly and the whole experience made for a very delightful lunch. Will definitely be back next time we are in Glasgow.

Popped in here with my son for a quick bit of lunch and glad we did. He ordered pancakes, and I ordered a tuna mayo baked potato. We were told they’re be a short wait for the pancakes but we didn’t mind. The pancakes ended up being massive and he only managed half, but he really enjoyed them. And I had the best baked potato I’ve ever tasted. To be clear I tend to order baked potatoes everywhere I go because of dietary requirements, and I’m ALWAYS disappointed. This is the first time I’ve truly enjoyed a baked potato, such a simple dish that everyone else seems to be doing so wrong. Loved the addition of self service ice and tap water also.

Can't agree with other reviews. The bacon rolls are superb as is the coffee. Don't mind waiting if everything is cooked fresh. Excellent value for money and well organised.

Service was a bit slow. I had the breakfast, which was OK. Daughter has the pancakes which tasted more like cakes than pancakes, but were quite tasty if no what was expected. Wife had a baked spud that was again, OK. We also tried the home made brownies. Four different flavours, apart from the rum and raisin, they all tasted the same. More fudge-like than brownie. So, not bad, but not brilliant.

PAID to eat here before, personally I think it's over priced. There used to be a picnic area next to here before and apparently it was taken away. This wasn't to my knowledge as I eat here every day and so do a handful of other people with their store bought meals. Today we were told to move, there was no manners we were told we couldn't 'picnic' I challenged this as I've ate here for months and the reply was 'this is my store and you can't eat here' The so called manager was very rude and proceeded to hang over us as we packed up our things as if we were children. We actually usually buy our coffees from the store when we are leaving, so they've lost two customers due to the managers terrible customer service.

Unfortunately, I attended this cafe for lunch on 1st September 2018 around 3pm. I ordered a BLT which cost £4.90 then a can of diet irn bru and a slice of caramel shortcake which came to £8.90. My friend ordered a latte and a scone there was a deal for £4.00 but on review she was charged £4.80 for this. We waited for around 15 minutes concerned about where our food was, eventually this appeared and the cashier was apologetic. My sandwich, as per photos, included fatty bacon which I had to pull apart. Now I expect some fat on bacon when I eat out but essentially this was just fat barely any meat. I had one small lettuce leaf and two bits of tomato which hadn’t been cut properly and still had the root at the top. My sandwich was dry and honestly unpleasant. I couldn’t believe the price I paid for it. Honestly wouldn’t recommend eating here. Maybe try their cakes but even then they are over priced. I’d have been cheaper going to Burger King! There were 4 members of staff manning a small service. Found the experience bizarre and a rip off.

He estado aquí varias veces.

Delicious freshly made scone with Butter and Jam and superb Vanilla Latte (Mum had an amazing Mueille Feuille) cake. Lovely friendly, helpful staff who were engaging and couldn't do enough to help us. It's also great for people like one of our family members who use a wheelchair. We had never been before and had a great experience.

If you want a nice hot, tasty, home cooked, good value breakfast, GO ELSEWHERE! Where do I start? I ordered the full all day breakfast, at £9.50, it was not cheap and when it arrived , not looking very good value. The positives. The rosti, beans and toast were nice and hot. The negatives. 2 sausages the size of chipolatas lukewarm. Mushroom stone cold. Streaky bacon, well undercooked, greasy and stone cold. The poached eggs were meant to be soft. They weren't and again barely lukewarm. I complained about the bacon and was brought another plate of cold, greasy undercooked bacon. I again complained and the waitress said she would get me a refund. I said I wasn't wanting one. However, a few minutes later, Jocelyn the restaurant manager appeared to let me know we could have a free hot drink but no way was I getting the refund which I hadn't asked for! Apparently it was no ones fault. I learned that everything is cooked, sorry heated to pre programmed times and temperatures. Also, and perhaps the worst. The poached eggs are deliverd in a little plastic pod with water, I assume partially cooked , and put into hot water to set. YEUGH! Pity they weren't in a shell like other eggs. My wife had the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. Obviously not fresh made, just heated. Her bacon was the same as mine. At £8.50 it was a disgrace. We won't be back. M&S was always known for quality. What has happened?
