Da Vinci's Restaurant in Poole

We really enjoyed our pizza and salad! Our server was so friendly. The music playing created a lovely Italian ambiance, as well as the great art work.

The food was amazing and the atmosphere was so romantic, I truly felt myseldlf in Italy. The serving was so kind and friendly thanks to Milly, who took care of us during the dinner.

Sat Al fresco next to the sea,had a vegan pizza (the base was delicious!) hubby had chicken livers on sourdough toast which he said were very good too…quick friendly knowledgeable service with good recommendations from Moe. Highly recommended

Excellent pizza on a Saturday evening. Freshly cooked and lovely base. Staff all friendly. Would recommend booking at the weekend although we had booked last minute and found a table for an early meal. Would go again if back in the area.

Best Italian in the area. Great food, awesome wine and friendly staff. Menu is regularly updated and never had a bad dish, from starters through to desserts. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately have to agree with Lorraine C. As a prior regular disappointing. Lovely Sunday pm, music stopped, staff disappeared like close down. Would have had more drinks but no staff 🤷‍♂️. Disappointing end to nice afternoon. Couple regular staff welcome you back but inconsistent attitudes and service. Even longer serving Italian waiter with stubble beard disappointingly uninterested & dismissive. When asked not bothered, reply was got bookings for next shift at 7.00 get your bill ! I know they want the money but don’t make it so obvious. Remember the regulars for winter when tourists go ! In general food has improved and much now prepared fresh in house now. Have owned number of restaurants and difficult as service is big differential for longevity especially if add 10% . earn it !!

No warm welcome, just a chaotic attempt to clean tables and rush the next customers in. It was bedlam inside as people were allowed in to wait by the door until a table was available. A senior waiter was very loudly scolding one of the young waitresses in front of the whole restaurant. Very unprofessional and humiliating for the young girl. The young female waitresses were, by far, the hardest workers. Now to the food. Awful, greasy garlic bread with some cold lumps of cheese on top. Fried zucchini, very vinegary with soft batter falling away. Should have been crispy. The mains were just ok but so overpriced. No thanks, no goodbyes. Felt like, just another tourist who probably wouldn’t be back, so why make any effort? Very disappointed.

Lovely decor & ambiance in this restaurant. The food was great & our server James was extremely attentive & efficient. Would definitely return.

Good food, good atmosphere and great service (thanks to Milly and Ciro). We had a table upstairs by the window, which gave us a good view. It was Mothers' Day and a nice touch was to give all mothers a gift.

We had visited Poole for the weekend and this was the first time we'd eaten here and it won't be the last. The fodd was A1, the service and atmosphere were great. Would definitely be visiting again on our next visit to Poole.

James and Ciro were very friendly and even though we arrived really early, we were warmly welcomed. We were a party of 13 but the food arrived quickly and all of our meals were delicious.

This is a nice, authentic Italian family restaurant on the popular quayside in Poole, directly opposite Sunseeker Boats - we received a warm welcome from our excellent waiter (Ciro) who was very professional and waited upon us with efficiency and a smile - our food was very nice, but the garlic bread was served with melted cheese on top, an experience I have never had at an Italian restaurant before ! Overall, a very nice dining experience only spoilt when I examined the bill when I got home to see that they had automatically added a 10% service charge - in my case, about £ 7, which may not be a lot of money to the wealthy residents of Poole, but I'm a pensioner and I'd rather that £7 was in my pocket whilst trying to make ends meet.

Lovely restaurant that accommodated nine of us for a team dinner - including one with a severe nut allergy - on a Wednesday night. The restaurant is nicely decorated, the service was impeccable and all of the main courses came out at exactly the same time so no polite waiting for everyone to get their food while yours slowly gets cold! All of it was delicious and I'd highly recommend.

Popped in for dinner without having booked. Really warm welcome from Moet and staff that made me comfortable despite dining alone. Had some fabulous squid to start, followed by an amazing Crazy Alfrdo then Tiramisu. All accompanied by a great bottle of wine. I will come here again without a second thought. Great evening

Expensive and bad service is a bad combination for a restaurant and this Bournemouth restaurant qualified for both. If it not for the fact we were out celebrating with family and friends I would have complained. The portions were a bit mean and one of our party waited until the rest of us had finished. I ordered a steak, which was tough, but had to wait for mustard, a standard condiment I would have thought. Would not recommend
