Been here three times now; it’s our current favourite. Friendly, family run place with cosy atmosphere. Food: pizza, pasta, meat and fish dishes, including some out-of-the-ordinary options all prepared with love. What more could you ask? Bit of a climb up stairs to the restaurant.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here recently. The food was presented well and piping hot. Will visit again when in the area. Excellent

A delicious meal served by friendly attentive staff. The restaurant has a cosy atmosphere but the tables are not crowded together. Thoroughly enjoyed and they serve on Mondays which is not the case everywhere in Llandudno! Would definitely eat there again! Note: the restaurant is upstairs. Not easily accessible if you have mobility issues and up again to the toilets.

Had a lovely meal here last night for four of us on a short break to Llandudno. Very authentic italian food and cosy atmosphere and some dishes a bit different from other Italian restaurants been to. Food was really nice and piping hot. The service was excellent - warm and friendly. We had rosemary and garlic pizza bread, which we all said was the best we'd ever had. It was so light and crispy, as well as very tasty. I had the Nduja and chicken risotto, which was delicious. The others had salmon pasta and two tagliatelli. I was too full for a dessert, but am told the tiramasu and chocolate and hazelnut torta 'caprese' were really nice too. We all thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely go back again when next in Llandudno. Would highly recommend but booking a table (as we had to) is advisable. Its quite a small restaurant and seems popular.

We ate at Da Venezia whilst in Llandudno for the weekend. Everything about the experience was superb. The food was wonderful, the service attentive & friendly and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. I even got a little coaching with my very-beginner level Italian, mille grazie!

We first tried to eat here in April had not booked they were full, we were visiting again in August so I made sure I booked a couple of weeks before I had the risotto which was lovely my husband had calzone which he enjoyed I will definitely eat here again and recommend it to family and friends

I've been to many Italian restaurants where it's standard pasta and pizza fayre so, I'll be honest, it's not my go to when I'm away. My wife wanted to go and the reviews were amazing so off we go on a Wednesday night in September. It was full and number 1 on here for a reason. Thankfully I'd booked. It was superb from start to finish. Accessed via steep steps to the first floor, the surroundings are like being in someone's cosy Italian home. Small enough to feel intimate but big enough not to be shoulder to shoulder with other diners. The waitress and owner were both an absolute joy. Helpful, smiley and attentive I'm not overly knowledgeable on Italian wines but my choice of Falerio Pecorino was a great one, reminding me of the best Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs. The food was divine. Classic bruschetta to get things underway, had the lightest bread with a lovely waxy crust, the topping not overpowered by pesto. My steak was beautifully cooked, topped with parmesan shavings and sat on a bed of wonderfully mild wild roquette. The chef accidentally forgot my fries, which arrived 2 minutes later. By means of apology there was enough to feed a family!! My wife had chicken in a light, creamy citrus sauce, which was excellent too. I rarely have three courses but made an exception as what had gone before had been so good. I had a deconstructed cheese cake which was lovely. My wife had a chocolate cake, which was as light as it was delicious. Sat in the window with a view down to the pier, the service and food was as good as I've had, anywhere, in some time. Looking forward to our next visit to Llandudno so we can visit again.

As of mid September this restaurant does not seem to be here any more. No signage on front, windows and doors covered up.

Incredible food by far the best Italian restaurant in Llandudno. The only sad thing is that it is hard to get in if you don't book well in advance as they only have a few tables. Quite a lot of steps to the restaurant and the toilets are up another flight in case anyone has mobility problems

Absolutely lovely, garlic bread to start, beef pasta special and lamb ravioli, all gorgeous, litre of wine on special which we took away,couldn't be faulted

Booked for my partner’s birthday whilst we were in Llandudno and it was truly wonderful. The welcome, staff, service and the food was amazing and made a great end to a special day. Could not fault it. Be the first resturant we will book when we visit the area again. Prices are very reasonable and good portions, wine was good as well. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Wow, wow, wow. This place is a gem. I was searching through restaurants in Llandudno with a menu that would suit my wife, i.e. plain steak and chips with something different available for me. This is the place. The food was outstanding. I had the best starter ever Fritto Misto followed seabass . It was superb and my tells me she had the best filet steak she has eaten out. This with wonderful service. All the food was cooked fresh to order. I have never been in a restaurant where there were so many compliments flying around about the food. Good value pricing too. Tip when searching for the place it is just a front door withe the restaurant up stairs. Alo I woul recommend you book in advance as seats about 50 but is popular.

When I was there there were 2 tables full - me and another family - but we still had to wait 15 minutes until the order was taken and then it took another 13 minutes for the food and drinks to arrive.

We discovered Da Venezia on a visit to Llandudno last year and were very keen to return. It is not a grand restaurant but the food is superb. The chef really knows what he is doing. We had lamb chops and the Sea Trout special for our mains and they were delicious. This is a small restaurant so you need to book. Thank you for a memorable meal.

Lovely food - authentic Italian We did feel rushed

This restaurant is a real hidden gem. Don't let the outside looks decieve you. Inside is a quaint, authentic restaurant. The food was AMAZING and the staff were so lovely. I will definitely return when we are next in Llandudno.

Easily missed as it is tucked away with only a doorway downstairs leading to steps upstairs to the restaurant. Proper Italian food cooked excellently using top class ingredients. I had the burrata with Parma ham to start and it was delicious. Seafood also fresh and delicious. Pizzas were perfect with a thin crust and perfect amount of very flavourful toppings Tiramisu for dessert was top class. Very knowledgeable ,friendly Italian waitresses too. A must visit if you come to Llandudno.

Food here is very authentic Italian.. we really enjoyed and recommend. Advise booking they don’t have lots of tables. My lobster ravioli was delicious and husband loved his risotto… better than food he’d had in Italy. Less than £60 for shared starter, two mains and lovely primitivo… wish we’d eaten here in second night too as the Indian we chose ( next door) was poor..

Turned up without a booking but we're quickly shown to a table. The staff were so friendly and the food was sublime. The fish special was Dover S Sole which my husband said was amazing and I had the lemon chicken which was delicious. This restaurant is tucked away upstairs but definitely worth finding. Only visiting Llandudno but if we were local this would become a regular eating place

Absolutely authentic Italian, run by a husband & wife hailing from somewhere near lake Garda. We had the sea food & pork specials which tasted fantastic. The husband is the chef with a long history of cooking. Nice and cozy atmosphere and we were well looked after. Totally recommended.

Wow! What a find! This is a hidden ‘GEM’ you have to be able to climb stairs but it’s well worth it! Really attentive staff and owner, the Fritto Misto was so tasty and fresh then the Foccacia was up there with the best you will get and the Lasagna 😋delicious, the wine was excellent and very reasonable. We will be back for more. If you like Italian food and are staying in Llandudno then be sure to go, I’d recommend booking to avoid any disappointment. 5 Star+

Once we found this restaurant tooked away up a flight of stairs we had a truly lovely evening. A little gem. Everything was spot on, will definitely go back.

Being Italian it’s always hard to find those true authentic restaurants in the UK. We have found the one it’s perfect in every way from hospitality to value for money for taste of food. It’s really like being in nonna village. Anyone who’s really been to Italy ( not the tourist places ). You’ll agree grazie

I took my friend Heather here for her special day. She loves Italian food, but it has to be authentically so. We liked it a lot. The venue is cosy and relaxed, the staff are attentive, and the food is terrific. We’ll be back. Da Vanezia is a special place.

First time at this restaurant this evening ,what an absolute find The service was extremely good The food was fresh and reminded me of being back in Italy ,finally, somewhere round here which resembles itialian food So glad to have discovered this place and will most definitely be back

Last minute decision and choice made after seeing brilliant reviews . The staff were wonderful, friendly but not invasive... The food was magnificent, top class and the atmosphere on a cold February evening was warm and welcoming. The one downside is the stairs to access the restaurant is a challenge for those with mobility issues. That said, it was a superb experience and a must for when we are next in Llandudno!

Fabulous meal. I had the lamb, 5 delicious, succulent lamb cutlets in a cream mushroom sauce, so delicious. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We visited before going to a show at the theatre. The restaurant opens at 5.30, so the timing was perfect. The manager kindly ordered a taxi for us. Definitely recommend.

Great authentic Italian in a lovely spot in Llandudno. We were really impressed with the freshness of all the food and the good quality of the ingredients. My son had pizza, I had steak and my wife had a risotto so we tried a good spread of dishes and all were really well cooked and delicious. Service was good but also not intrusive and we felt welcome and not rushed. Overall a very positive experience and a lovely meal and we will definitely be back in future!

Wow. What do I say, the service was first class plus, the girls were polite, helpful, in fact made us feel as we were family. The food was stunning, cooked to perfection. Try the sardine option if it is on the fish of the day option, perfection, it tasted of true fresh sardine, wow. The atmosphere is one of being in a family taverna in Italy, jolly and uplifting. The only down side would be, the stairs, they are steep, but if you can climb them for a culinary experience you will want to go back to. Thank you to the pot washer up to the owner, you all do Da Venezia and Italy proud.

First time in this authentic Italian Restaurant. Greeted very warmly and shown to our table. The restaurant is like a sitting room. Very cosy. The starters were lovely and the lasagna was piping hot and very tasty. All in all this is a fantastic restaurant serving beautiful Italian food. Can’t wait to return.

Great family ran restaurant. I couldn't fault our meal. The food was great in a friendly atmosphere, and for a reasonable price. A return visit will be needed next time we're in Wales.

I frequently came to the previous restaurant (also Italian) during my previous trips to Llandudno, so I was eager to see how this new-ish restaurant would be. The quality was outstanding: nice house wine (Montepulciano), very light yet crispy batter on the fried seafood starter, beautiful raviolis with a rich pancetta sauce, and very airy tiramisù (maybe too much on the sweet side, but I'm nitpicking). The service was very attentive as well, in a quiet atmosphere. I'll definitely be back for my next trip to Snowdonia!

My partner and I visited this restaurant during a 1 night stay in Llandudno. It was a great place, the lady who took care of us was very friendly. The service was great, the restaurant has limited seating so I would suggest booking. The food was great, I had the calzone and my partner had the lamb ravioli special, for dessert I enjoyed the tiramisu and my partner had the cherry crumble special. This restaurant is great value for money also. Highly recommend 👌

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!! I last went in February, and then went again in September. The waitres remembered where I sat and what I had from the menu last times it’s family owned, authentic, they CARE, and the food is honestly the best you will get unless you go to Italy! Phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back again soon. Amazing.

The food that they offer is so unique and delicious, but they also offer off-menu dishes! I had the beetroot risotto and my mum had a mushroom risotto which wasn’t on the menu, both dishes were flavourful and well presented. The staff are fast and productive but also very friendly and approachable. Overall, lovely environment with lovely food.

A beautiful and delicious evening based on real Italian cuisine. The restaurant is run by a family from Bergamo (northern Italy) who works very very well and creates a welcoming and professional atmosphere. We had a soup with pumpkin and potatoes, linguine with seafood and pasta with salmon and courgettes. In addition to this, a lemon cheesecake and an excellent tiramisu. Fantastic dinner! We liked all the dishes very much. The restaurant is also really nice. Excellent value for money and kindness of all the staff who are always a pleasure. Congratulations to Sibilla and her entire family. Absolutely recommended restaurant!

I was a solo diner on a Saturday night (traveling with work) but found both a homely welcoming atmosphere AND superb food. Lots of locals eating (always a good sign!) and a lovely evening out- even though I was alone. Only complaint? They're not open tomorrow night!!

Authentic taste of Italy in North Wales. As an Italian would like to compliment Chef Michele who with dedication, passion and attention to detail made our meal just perfect ! We wandered around on our first night in Llandudno and followed the google reviews to find a restaurant. By chance we found Da Venezia as it didn’t automatically come up on the Google restaurant list. Wow, are we glad we did! I had the fillet steak and my wife had the cannelloni. Honestly one of the best steaks I’ve ever had; cooked perfectly with freshly made veg and chips on the side and the peppercorn sauce complimented it perfectly. Attentive yet relaxed service. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food and the ambiance. A fantastic dining experience overall. Run by a lovely family, I couldn’t recommend highly enough. A proper little gem of a place. We’re only in Llandudno for 3 nights but safe to say we’ll be returning again before we leave.

We went as a large family group, including young children and we enjoyed a fabulous meal and first class service. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff, particularly the owner, were extremely friendly. Thoroughly recommended.

I asked for balsamic vinegar with oil and the fantastically accommodating waitress gave me the bottles to do as I please with which suited me perfectly (GREAT START) 👌 I had the Seafood Linguine that was fantastic also. Great little family run Italian restaurant. Nothing is too much trouble and they made things off menu for our daughter's. Great service, we've been twice now and will definitely go again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

An impromptu trip to Llandudno led us here. We hadn't booked a table but this was not a problem and we were seated immediately. We both chose the Bruschetta Trentina. Presentation was amazing and we certainly weren't let down by the taste. Service was exactly as it should be, with hosts being attentive. For main course it was fish of the day, pan-fried swordfish, served with roasted potatoes for my significant other, while I had cannelloni with spinach and ricotta. If you're looking for an authentic Italian atmosphere, and incredible food... look no further, Da Venezia has it all!

Great service from arriving at the door. Made very welcome. The food was excellent, foccacia was very light and tasty. Lasagne highly recommended 👍👍 An intimate atmosphere. Will definitely be back on our return to llandudno.

Fairly new restaurant in Llandudno. Family run, small and intimate. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Service very good staff very friendly. Well worth a visit on the first floor up a flight of stairs.

Food and service was OK, Limited choice of starters like funghi fritti and pasta dishes for me though, seems OK if you like pizza's

Lovely meal here with friends last night. Two of us are vegan and we had plenty of choice. The tempura for starter was delicious then beetroot risotto which was just as tasty. Our friends had steak and salmon pasta which was excellent. The service was very good and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Prices very reasonable too. A winner all round. We'll definitely be back.

Llandudno has always had several Italian restaurants, all similarly mediocre. Glad to see something of higher quality open up. Food was fantastic, prices very reasonable and the service was excellent.

Recommended for people who want to try real Italian cuisine! In addition to traditional cuisine, the fantastic pizza and focaccia are also available!!!! Qualified, friendly and nice staff!!!! Chef Venezia and his wife Siby are authentic and helpful people!!! Seeing is believing

Excellent food with authentic flavours. The Bruschetta was excellent. Mid range prices but very worth it. Service was excellent. It is entered by a doorway and a flight of stairs to the first floor. Might be an issue if you are not fully mobile.

Had a lovely meal on Friday evening food was amazing staff were very friendly. No children menu but staff were very happy to make tomato pasta for my daughter who was very happy and ate every bit.
