This restaurant is a must if you are in Llandudno. We went on Saturday 17th May to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary and everything was fantastic. The owner had remembered it was our anniversary and decorated the table for us. We had garlic bread for starters, four main courses, 2 bottles of wine and a shared dessert. Food was absolutely delicious and served piping hot. Thank you for making our anniversary one to remember and we will definitely be back.

Really authentic Italian food:delicious! We were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation arriving as soon as the restaurant opened. Our starters were both perfect: mussels in a tomato and chili sauce and the mixed fried seafood were to die for! We had the lamb-filled ravioli and lobster-filled ravioli. Couldn’t fault the food. Can’t wait to come back!

Just had an amazing meal here. The food is fresh and very tasty. I had pork loin starter and sardine fritta main. They also prepared delicious vegan food for my husband. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a lovely evening. We will definitely be back next time we are in Llandudno.

Super Italian food and ambience. Don't drink alcohol so can't comment on that. Central location in Llamdudno. The service was excellent, everyone seemed very relaxed but attentive. A very enjoyable meal, would definitely return if visiting the area again

Cannot comment on food or service as we didn't have either. Did a walk in to see if there was an available table and when we asked we were told quote, "you've got no chance". Not even, sorry we have no availability, or sorry we're fully booked. Attitude was beyond unacceptable. I was given a card and told to book if I wanted to return. Well sorry, "you've got no chance" of us returning.

We chose Da Venezia because of their great Tripadvisor reviews, and we were glad we did. This is a family run restaurant situated in the centre of Llandudno, and accessed by quite steep stairs to the first floor restaurant, which has a really nice ambience. All of the food that we had was authentically Italian, freshly prepared and very tasty. We chose wine by the glass which was good. Service throughout the meal was warm and friendly and prices were very reasonably. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Da Venezia, and just wish that it was nearer to where we live as we could easily become regular visitors!

Some of the best food I’ve ever had! This place has such a lovely atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is absolutely delicious. Definitely my new favourite restaurant

Busy , bustling restaurant in the centre of town.The atmosphere was good.Food was amazing and service pretty quick considering how busy it was.However we didn't have a good table and a constant stream of staff collecting food impacted the evening.Also got out order wrong .Reasonably priced but was not impressed with the10% service charge automatically added to the bill.

Visited Da Venezia restaurant whilst on holiday in Llandudno with my daughter. We managed to get in at the last minute without having to book in advance. The food was fab, the ambience just right, and the waitress (Kalina) was lovely. In fact, my daughter liked her demeanour so much that she suggested I find someone like Kalina as a potential girlfriend in the future 🤣🤣🤣. If only I was younger (like, a LOT younger lol). I would recommend the lasagne and the risotto, as well as the gelato and profiteroles. Although I am sure that all of the dishes are top notch.

Everything was so good ...highly recommend

Food very good standard but I did feel the menu was a little limited . Also I found the pizzas a little confusing with cheese and walnuts . All beer is bottled . Please don’t visit if you have mobility issues as the stairs are very steep as it is in the 2nd floor . Overall I would return again , so the food must be good .Forgot to say , service is exceptional .

Wonderful place for dinner. Lovely warm welcome from the staff and service great. A good size place so not too noisy. We loved it all and they catered well for the coeliac in our party as well as the vegan. We would recommend it to anyone visiting Llandudno. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Can't ever recall a more pleasurable eating experience in Llandudno really. It was my birthday and we've lived in Llandudno 6 years and never been. Huge regret. We could eat here everyday if practical. What an absolutely stunning meal. The food, the staff, the atmosphere..... make sure you book. Its small and intimate, and the family are so lovely. Small details in customer service stood out. We were VERY impressed (even their policy to turn their backs whilst you type your pin in the card machine). Fabulous. Just go.

Been here twice before on our visit to Llandudno, as always, we had a fantastic meal. We were a table of 4 and ordered Risotto con Nduja Salsiccia e Pollo, Gnocchi alla Sorrentina, Tagliatelle alla Bolognese and a Franca pizza. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Will visit again in the future.

Came here for Valentine’s Day the other night and was very happy! Excellent food it was very nice and the service was equally as good, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly. I also felt it was very reasonably priced considering my fiancée and I had 3 courses each and an alcoholic drink each as well. I will definitely be going back to try some things on the regular menu. 10/10 from us.

Just been, 10/02/25 and have to say this was the best Italian food we have had. 3 of us who all had different starters and mains and every meal was outstanding. Service was brilliant and absolutely fantastic value for money. First time we have been but definitely not the last. Thankyou for a wonderful experience.

Had a great time here. The tagliatelle bolognese and ice cream I had were both delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the decent amount of variety on the menu. The only complaint is that I got a scoop of vanilla ice cream when I'd ordered caramel instead. Other than that, would highly recommend.

Only our 2nd visit, but want be the last, the food is amazing i had the Caprese salad the Mozzarella was perfect tomatoes were just right for my mains, I chose from the specials board the salmon trout topped with a kind of potato rösti, with a pea and white wine puree. Was 10 out of 10, can't wait till my next visit.

We came here for my partner’s 30th as we were staying in Llandudno for the weekend and couldn’t have had a better experience. The food was lovely but the service went above and beyond and made it a really special evening - the best I’ve experienced. Wonderful little Italian restaurant in the heart of Llandudno! We were lucky to get a table on Saturday evening; the interior was so cosy and welcoming and the staff were so friendly, polite and informative. We shared the fritto portifino to start then had the risotto with nudja, sausage and chicken and a tagliatelle bolognaise and all of them were delicious, especially the risotto - can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu when we’re next back near Llandudno!!

A homely family-owned restaurant situated on the first floor of the building. The ambiance was warm and cosy with soft Italian music playing in the background. The service was excellent and the pizza's we ordered were prepared with care and expertise. Well balanced flavours and a perfect crust. The pizza's were complemented with a rich red housewine and we wrapped it up with a very refined chocolate hazelnut cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. If only I lived nearby, I'd come here every week.

I booked a table for two for my partners birthday as I wanted something special for her, and Da Venezia didnt disappoint. The restaurant is a cosy family run affair that offers very authentic dishes. It's not a huge place (which is what I wanted) and has the feel of a family home. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by very friendly staff. The menu has a good variety of dishes, something for all tastes. We both chose bruschetta for starters, king prawn linguine and lasagne for mains, tiramasu and lemon cheesecake for pudding. All dishes were just superb, freshly prepared and so tasty. Staff throughout were busy at all times, but remained friendly and attentive throughout. I didn't mention my partners birthday at the time of booking, but did mention it when we were seated. She got the full 5 star Happy Birthday treatment, brilliant. We loved our visit to Da Venezia, we felt very spoiled. We hope to return very soon.

Amazing little Italian restaurant nestled in the heart of Llandudno! Gorgeous food, hand made authentic Italian bases with unique and delicious toppings. The staff were so knowledgeable about the menu and attentive throughout our visit. They even made me a mocha which wasn't on the menu, thank you so much, it was delicious! 100% recommend for all occasions!

Stayed in Llandudno for a couple of nights, decided to have an Italian dinner, having found this small restaurant, what a find, the food was exceptional, quality and so so fresh, i would recommend the mussels, which I started with, Lamd ravioli parcels, unbelievably good as was my wife's tagliatelle. The lady who took care of us just couldn't do enough for us, would highly recommend the Da Venizia , great value and quality.

What a gem of a place, lovely ambience, food was superb and service wonderful. We had the mixed tempura seafood and a bruschetta starter and a risotto and the lobster ravioli, it was brilliant. Booked in at Da Venezia late in the day and we were lucky enough to get a table. There were four of us having a birthday celebration meal. Noticed right away when we got there with the little touches they'd gone above and beyond for us which was really appreciated. Great selection of food which was fantastic and very tasty. I've worked in a casino for nearly four decades so I know enough about customer service and the lady who served us was as good as it gets. We've been to Llandudno many times and have walked past the door, not noticing it but we will 100% be back to try many more treats from the menu. This is #1 on Llandudno tripadvisor for a reason. Give it a try and you'll agree. Thank you for making our night.

Been here three times now; it’s our current favourite. Friendly, family run place with cosy atmosphere. Food: pizza, pasta, meat and fish dishes, including some out-of-the-ordinary options all prepared with love. What more could you ask? Bit of a climb up stairs to the restaurant.

Bit of a blip with our two-evening booking, which ended up with just the one. No problem as it turned out. Double checked the website, and it doesn't mention double set of very steep stairs to access the restaurant. Would be a big problem for anybody with mobility problems. Having said that the service was good and the food excellent. A nice evening, pity about the stairs.

Thoroughly enjoyed and they serve on Mondays which is not the case everywhere in Llandudno! Would definitely eat there again! Note: the restaurant is upstairs. Not easily accessible if you have mobility issues and up again to the toilets.

Had a lovely meal here last night for four of us on a short break to Llandudno. Very authentic italian food and cosy atmosphere and some dishes a bit different from other Italian restaurants been to. Food was really nice and piping hot. The service was excellent - warm and friendly. We had rosemary and garlic pizza bread, which we all said was the best we'd ever had. It was so light and crispy, as well as very tasty. I had the Nduja and chicken risotto, which was delicious. The others had salmon pasta and two tagliatelli. I was too full for a dessert, but am told the tiramasu and chocolate and hazelnut torta 'caprese' were really nice too. We all thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely go back again when next in Llandudno. Would highly recommend but booking a table (as we had to) is advisable. Its quite a small restaurant and seems popular.

We ate at Da Venezia whilst in Llandudno for the weekend. Everything about the experience was superb. The food was wonderful, the service attentive & friendly and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. I even got a little coaching with my very-beginner level Italian, mille grazie!

We first tried to eat here in April had not booked they were full, we were visiting again in August so I made sure I booked a couple of weeks before I had the risotto which was lovely my husband had calzone which he enjoyed I will definitely eat here again and recommend it to family and friends

I've been to many Italian restaurants where it's standard pasta and pizza fayre so, I'll be honest, it's not my go to when I'm away. My wife wanted to go and the reviews were amazing so off we go on a Wednesday night in September. It was full and number 1 on here for a reason. Thankfully I'd booked. It was superb from start to finish. Accessed via steep steps to the first floor, the surroundings are like being in someone's cosy Italian home. Small enough to feel intimate but big enough not to be shoulder to shoulder with other diners. The waitress and owner were both an absolute joy. Helpful, smiley and attentive I'm not overly knowledgeable on Italian wines but my choice of Falerio Pecorino was a great one, reminding me of the best Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs. The food was divine. Classic bruschetta to get things underway, had the lightest bread with a lovely waxy crust, the topping not overpowered by pesto. My steak was beautifully cooked, topped with parmesan shavings and sat on a bed of wonderfully mild wild roquette. The chef accidentally forgot my fries, which arrived 2 minutes later. By means of apology there was enough to feed a family!! My wife had chicken in a light, creamy citrus sauce, which was excellent too. I rarely have three courses but made an exception as what had gone before had been so good. I had a deconstructed cheese cake which was lovely. My wife had a chocolate cake, which was as light as it was delicious. Sat in the window with a view down to the pier, the service and food was as good as I've had, anywhere, in some time. Looking forward to our next visit to Llandudno so we can visit again.

Incredible food by far the best Italian restaurant in Llandudno. The only sad thing is that it is hard to get in if you don't book well in advance as they only have a few tables. Quite a lot of steps to the restaurant and the toilets are up another flight in case anyone has mobility problems

Wow, wow, wow. This place is a gem. I was searching through restaurants in Llandudno with a menu that would suit my wife, i.e. plain steak and chips with something different available for me. This is the place. The food was outstanding. I had the best starter ever Fritto Misto followed seabass . It was superb and my tells me she had the best filet steak she has eaten out. This with wonderful service. All the food was cooked fresh to order. I have never been in a restaurant where there were so many compliments flying around about the food. Good value pricing too. Tip when searching for the place it is just a front door withe the restaurant up stairs. Alo I woul recommend you book in advance as seats about 50 but is popular.

When I was there there were 2 tables full - me and another family - but we still had to wait 15 minutes until the order was taken and then it took another 13 minutes for the food and drinks to arrive.

We discovered Da Venezia on a visit to Llandudno last year and were very keen to return. It is not a grand restaurant but the food is superb. The chef really knows what he is doing. We had lamb chops and the Sea Trout special for our mains and they were delicious. This is a small restaurant so you need to book. Thank you for a memorable meal.

This restaurant is a real hidden gem. Don't let the outside looks decieve you. Inside is a quaint, authentic restaurant. The food was AMAZING and the staff were so lovely. I will definitely return when we are next in Llandudno.

Easily missed as it is tucked away with only a doorway downstairs leading to steps upstairs to the restaurant. Proper Italian food cooked excellently using top class ingredients. I had the burrata with Parma ham to start and it was delicious. Seafood also fresh and delicious. Pizzas were perfect with a thin crust and perfect amount of very flavourful toppings Tiramisu for dessert was top class. Very knowledgeable ,friendly Italian waitresses too. A must visit if you come to Llandudno.

Food here is very authentic Italian.. we really enjoyed and recommend. Advise booking they don’t have lots of tables. My lobster ravioli was delicious and husband loved his risotto… better than food he’d had in Italy. Less than £60 for shared starter, two mains and lovely primitivo… wish we’d eaten here in second night too as the Indian we chose ( next door) was poor..

Turned up without a booking but we're quickly shown to a table. The staff were so friendly and the food was sublime. The fish special was Dover S Sole which my husband said was amazing and I had the lemon chicken which was delicious. This restaurant is tucked away upstairs but definitely worth finding. Only visiting Llandudno but if we were local this would become a regular eating place

Absolutely authentic Italian, run by a husband & wife hailing from somewhere near lake Garda. We had the sea food & pork specials which tasted fantastic. The husband is the chef with a long history of cooking. Nice and cozy atmosphere and we were well looked after. Totally recommended.

Wow! What a find! This is a hidden ‘GEM’ you have to be able to climb stairs but it’s well worth it! Really attentive staff and owner, the Fritto Misto was so tasty and fresh then the Foccacia was up there with the best you will get and the Lasagna 😋delicious, the wine was excellent and very reasonable. We will be back for more. If you like Italian food and are staying in Llandudno then be sure to go, I’d recommend booking to avoid any disappointment. 5 Star+

Being Italian it’s always hard to find those true authentic restaurants in the UK. We have found the one it’s perfect in every way from hospitality to value for money for taste of food. It’s really like being in nonna village. Anyone who’s really been to Italy ( not the tourist places ). You’ll agree grazie

I took my friend Heather here for her special day. She loves Italian food, but it has to be authentically so. We liked it a lot. The venue is cosy and relaxed, the staff are attentive, and the food is terrific. We’ll be back. Da Vanezia is a special place.

Last minute decision and choice made after seeing brilliant reviews . The staff were wonderful, friendly but not invasive... The food was magnificent, top class and the atmosphere on a cold February evening was warm and welcoming. The one downside is the stairs to access the restaurant is a challenge for those with mobility issues. That said, it was a superb experience and a must for when we are next in Llandudno!

Fabulous meal. I had the lamb, 5 delicious, succulent lamb cutlets in a cream mushroom sauce, so delicious. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We visited before going to a show at the theatre. The restaurant opens at 5.30, so the timing was perfect. The manager kindly ordered a taxi for us. Definitely recommend.

Great authentic Italian in a lovely spot in Llandudno. We were really impressed with the freshness of all the food and the good quality of the ingredients. My son had pizza, I had steak and my wife had a risotto so we tried a good spread of dishes and all were really well cooked and delicious. Service was good but also not intrusive and we felt welcome and not rushed. Overall a very positive experience and a lovely meal and we will definitely be back in future!

Wow. What do I say, the service was first class plus, the girls were polite, helpful, in fact made us feel as we were family. The food was stunning, cooked to perfection. Try the sardine option if it is on the fish of the day option, perfection, it tasted of true fresh sardine, wow. The atmosphere is one of being in a family taverna in Italy, jolly and uplifting. The only down side would be, the stairs, they are steep, but if you can climb them for a culinary experience you will want to go back to. Thank you to the pot washer up to the owner, you all do Da Venezia and Italy proud.

First time in this authentic Italian Restaurant. Greeted very warmly and shown to our table. The restaurant is like a sitting room. Very cosy. The starters were lovely and the lasagna was piping hot and very tasty. All in all this is a fantastic restaurant serving beautiful Italian food. Can’t wait to return.

Great family ran restaurant. I couldn't fault our meal. The food was great in a friendly atmosphere, and for a reasonable price. A return visit will be needed next time we're in Wales.
